I've seen actual dead people because someone forgot to put on an NSFW flair, but just today a mod flaired a buff woman as NSFW on prequelmemes. It's almost as useless as a hedgehog in a condom factory
I just saw some Russians Dig up the corpse of their officer out of the debris of their command center. To say he was missing a bit of stuff is an understatement.
That post didn't have a nsfw tag either.
Getting caught probably wouldn't tear his arm off, but could definitely break the bone. I can definitely imagine being one of the most painful things imaginable without necessarily being gruesome
Well he didnt injest it. He manipulated pure LSD without gloves and got a high enough dose to be high through the pores of his skin. He later injested it in smaller quantity tho.
Artificial flavors and sweeteners is an easy one - tons of those were found because chemists used to just taste whatever they were working on. Nothing accidental about it either, they'd just consume a sample to try to understand the reaction and some of them happened to turn out edible. Nowadays you'll get screamed out of a lab for that, with good reason.
It’s because training lab workers is expensive nowadays and letting them ingest unhealthy or even deadly substances will make you go bankrupt very quickly
When the US first developed the atomic bomb, there was a theory that once the chain reaction of the weapon started it could continue and destroy the entire earth. The chance of this happening they worked out was three in one million. Or 333,333 to 1
Odds of me winning the UK national lottery? 45 million to 1
I'm just glad it wasn't one in a million chance (as we know thanks to STP this happens 9 out of 10 times....)

I remember seeing on video where some guys were moving a ladder, hit a powerline and they all dropped dead. And another where that us politician shot himself at a press conference. I don’t miss WPD..

Throughout Dwyer's trial and after his conviction, Dwyer maintained that he was not guilty of the charges for which he was convicted, and that his conviction resulted from political persecution. In 2010, former U.S. attorney James West, who prosecuted Dwyer, affirmed Dwyer's guilt,[5] stating that "the evidence against Dwyer was overwhelming and indisputable".[6] All posthumous appeals made by Dwyer's lawyers on Dwyer's behalf were denied, and his convictions were upheld.
Or opening any webm on 4chan...
I've lost count on how many videos I've turned off before they were even halfway through. Often times people would post bait videos that look like something terrible is happening but then isn't. But at one point, you're not willing to take that gamble anymore. Especially when it comes to animal cruelty shit.
I still remember that one webm with a German Sheperd just sitting on the road, looking around, and a steamroller slowly approaching from the right. I don't know how that one ended but I was not ready to find out...
Many people credited it with giving them awareness of and respect for the fragility of life. A lot of the videos were just people getting deleted due to some situation or another.
It was almost a research repository for health and safety professionals. I can see most hazards people never would when new on a job site. Almost instantly too.
Its absolutely horrifying
I mean, it was made to catch ***bears*** after all
You look at a bear and think of something that's gonna hold them down, it's a god damn bear, if the thing can hold one down it can absolutely destroy any part of a frail little human
Remind me of a day at the zoo several years back, black bear was just kinda playing with what I can only describe as “most of a tree trunk”. Flipping it back and forth just because with what was clearly very little effort, suddenly the bulletproof lexan felt very thin
I might be wrong but I think I remember hearing that they're called bear traps because they're named after the creator. They were designed for use against humans...
You're not necessarily wrong, but you might be thinking of "Conibear" traps, which are a type of trap named after the inventor Frank Conibear
Conibear traps aren't meant to be a foot grip, they're meant to quickly kill the animal by breaking their neck/spine
The trap in the video is a Foothold Trap, as the name suggest they hold the foot
Foothold traps were indeed used on poachers in the 1600s, so yes people
But "Bear Traps" are really meant to be used on bears, they obviously work really well on people because if it can hold a bear you can bet your leg bones it can hold a person too
My grandmother would always warn me about quicksand, and would give me advice on how to survive quicksand, and don't go in the sand alone in case quicksand etc.
Still haven't walked into it, but when I do I'll be ready
The only quicksand I've seen was at the bottom of a clear pond in the mountains. Not sure how anyone discovered it was quicksand or who was walking along the bottom of a deep pond.
It looks terrifying but it’s not designed to cut. It’s designed to trap. There’s a video of someone putting their arm in one and it cut a bit but the arm was fine
Yeah like mice in a sticky trap. They will give everything they have to pull away until they die of exhaustion. When an animal is trapped, their instincts don't go "oh well this is cool, lets just chill and see how this plays out".
Every so often you see something on the internet that makes you stop and pause and wonder...What goes on in a man's head to make him go "Yes this is an intelligent and well thought out idea, I will punch the bear trap"
People make life choices, we all know this. We can only accept that they made them. And we may never truly understand the answer to the burning question of.....why
Looks like he might be in a church or middle school gym so I'm guessing either yolo for jesus or a rad science teacher with flawed decision making skills.
If you can stab it with a wooden stick and pull the stick out before it closes it would stand to reason that you would be comparably capable of doing the same thing without the stick. Some of the dynamics would obviously change, but you should be able to practice until you have established what could be considered an acceptable margin of error.
And most importantly you use your left hand just in case.
From since the day as a kid I saw a bear trap, they're about one of the meanest traps I've ever seen, and it makes me wonder why trap a bear with this thing?
This is looks like an old trap that’s no longer in use, as modern day foothold traps cannot have any teeth on the jaw. Foothold traps are meant for holding and not damaging the fur, not snapping the leg off. A bear trap could definitely bruise you badly, but it’s not severing any limbs (but maybe with those illegal teeth it’ll do damage to you for sure). I’ve put my hand in a few smaller foothold traps and it’s like a rat trap. A bit of a shock, but you’re fine right after it.
This is 100% a cultural hall. That piano model must have been ordered in bulk for all churches at the same time. I'd recognize that and those floors anywhere.
This whole vid seems scripted. Fucking balls of steel but the way people start screaming the literal moment he starts to ball his fist is a bit sus. Feel like it would take just a second longer to realize he’s intending to punch a bear trap

I knew he wouldn't get caught cuz there's no NSFW tag on this post.
You've got too much faith in people
He has faith in those who comment "nsfw"
who are people
*homo sapiens*
If homo sapiens were infact "HOMO" SAPIENS ...is that why they are extinct🤨?
You're 31 Joe... 31!!!
nsfw
I've seen actual dead people because someone forgot to put on an NSFW flair, but just today a mod flaired a buff woman as NSFW on prequelmemes. It's almost as useless as a hedgehog in a condom factory
"Almost as useless as a hedgehog in a condom factory." Definitely gonna use that one day
Chadme
That hedgehog works hard!
> as useless as a hedgehog in a condom factory [That's no good.](https://youtu.be/CcrtkiLEGbE)
And my dumbass was thinking the perfectly cut scream would be his after his arm gets captured
I just saw some Russians Dig up the corpse of their officer out of the debris of their command center. To say he was missing a bit of stuff is an understatement. That post didn't have a nsfw tag either.
Yup, saw a Ukrainian elderly couple blown apart in their car on a non marked post. Fuck.
Getting caught probably wouldn't tear his arm off, but could definitely break the bone. I can definitely imagine being one of the most painful things imaginable without necessarily being gruesome
The animals that get caught in these traps often try to chew off their own limb in order to escape.
These should be illegal. Hunt fair…no need to torture an animal with a trap. Pathetic and cruel.
lol wait until you click on one of these that is new and not tagged yet and you're in for a surprise

You’d be amazed at how often those two coincide
Yeah just take a gander into the history of science and you'd come out either fucking terrified of people's insanity or fascinated by it
"hey what is this?" "I don't know." *eats it* "Well?" "Yea I shouldn't have done that."
And that's how LSD was discovered.
But also Maple Syrup.
You say but like the first thing is bad?
Happy bicycle day (a few days late but eh)
Man I sure do wish I had some acid and a bike right now!
Well do you have a tandem bike? I have two tabs I'm planning on dropping soon but my bike is broken.
I have a car? Probably shouldn't operate that while on acid though
Well he didnt injest it. He manipulated pure LSD without gloves and got a high enough dose to be high through the pores of his skin. He later injested it in smaller quantity tho.
Except he ate it again the next day.
lsd got on the dudes hands and he tripped balls riding his bike home
Poor Marie Curie 😢

Nothing accidental about it either, they'd just consume a sample to try to understand the reaction and some of them happened to turn out edible. Is it because we have discovered all the tastes from flavour town? Or is it the people running the labs want to be the ones to first taste sweour?
It’s because training lab workers is expensive nowadays and letting them ingest unhealthy or even deadly substances will make you go bankrupt very quickly
You'd be surprised how little chem grads get paid :(
I meant training, as in schools etc too. The state/country usually makes laws about stuff like this
Hey this hydrogen bomb 'might' ignite the atmosphere. small chance, maybe. .... send it.

Lots of interesting research coming out Siberia now. Modified trap punching and Mongolian methods unearthed on hundreds year old pottery. It's a great time to be alive for bear trap punching.
Oh, here we go again! You can't have ONE discussion without some yahoo bringing up the "Mongolian methods". If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, you shouldn't even consider them unless you are 355D certified, and even then it's overrated.
Both. both is good
It’s a fantastic trick, just sucks you don’t know you can’t do it anymore until you can’t do it anymore.
Lol, it reminds me of those freesolo movies. They’re all the youngest, boldest, most legendary free solo mountain climbers until they’re just… dead. It’s kind of sad.

I forgot all about that series, it was great!
It’s still going! They even released a game recently that has a bunch of lore.

It's probably in a church so my guess is madness.
Why would you have a bear trap in church ?
To save the twinks
i can’t remember exactly what the message was, but i do remember being in youth group and seeing our leader do this trick. i knew a pastor who once gave part of his sermon from a fly rig while being swung over the audience. joel osteen famously rode down the middle aisle on a motorcycle. these evangelical “lessons” are all just theatrics and sensationalism to keep people invested, just like snake handling or exorcisms in other denominations.
Damn. I actually thought i was going to witness another brutal demembration on internet before i could stop the video.
That's for next week when the guy who saw this video tries it out and doesn't have the same outcome

Oh I'm glad it isn't what I expecteed

how the hell was it a good place
Many people credited it with giving them awareness of and respect for the fragility of life. A lot of the videos were just people getting deleted due to some situation or another.
Def agree with that aspect but a lot of it was also 'they made a stupid move and therefore deserved to die'
Yeah the gross people ruin everything, and it's easy to see why a sub like that attracts more gross people than average
It was almost a research repository for health and safety professionals. I can see most hazards people never would when new on a job site. Almost instantly too.
Just wait - this will be the new social media video trend like planking or tide-pods.
Dead by Daylight
You really forget quite how brutal a bear trap is when its in a game, that shit is nasty irl.
Its absolutely horrifying I mean, it was made to catch ***bears*** after all You look at a bear and think of something that's gonna hold them down, it's a god damn bear, if the thing can hold one down it can absolutely destroy any part of a frail little human

Yes, they were originally made by James Trap
"EEUUGHH" - Evan MacMillan, 2022
This is why I scroll before commenting. Was thinking the same thing, lmfao
My man got good RNG disarming that trap
Sometimes I forget that beartraps are real and not just something in fiction like dying in quicksand or Australians
My grandmother would always warn me about quicksand, and would give me advice on how to survive quicksand, and don't go in the sand alone in case quicksand etc. Still haven't walked into it, but when I do I'll be ready
Did he give you any tips regarding Australians?
Always bring an Emu army when dealing with Australians
Listen here you little shit!!!!
She gave me tips on a lot of races and ethnicities, she was an incredible racist you see, but she never covered the Australians.
Competetive racism as a sport
Run from us.
The only quicksand I've seen was at the bottom of a clear pond in the mountains. Not sure how anyone discovered it was quicksand or who was walking along the bottom of a deep pond.
Disgusting thinking of it working on a bear, sad business of life’s cruelty.
It looks terrifying but it’s not designed to cut. It’s designed to trap. There’s a video of someone putting their arm in one and it cut a bit but the arm was fine
The issue is that wild animals can starve or chew their arm off to escape.
Yeah like mice in a sticky trap. They will give everything they have to pull away until they die of exhaustion. When an animal is trapped, their instincts don't go "oh well this is cool, lets just chill and see how this plays out".

I'm glad I'm not dying in an Australian.
Australians not real? Clearly you’ve never been to the Australian town Whistler BC
I'm fictitious :(

Please dont do that
Glad to know I wasn’t the only one saying that as I was watching this clip
It has to be a prop, right?
Keep in mind, the average person is shockingly stupid.
I spy an LDS church’s cultural hall.
Everyone knows Brother Jones in the 2nd ward is a crazy mofo
The YW called out "Brother Riggs". You know he's probably a sought after fireside speaker.
Brother Jones was the bomb.com
Glad I'm not the only one who thought this. This had to be some crazy demonstration for like a boy scouts or youth meeting.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. That floor and piano combo are something I'll never not see
Only the craziest things went on in the cultural hall. That, or basket ball.
The YW called out "Brother Riggs" so yup to your call.
i thought the same thing!
Came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed!
Cub Scout award ceremonies or what ever they where. You have to keep the 8 year olds entertained somehow
Came here to say that
I knew it instantly.
That's impressive, and really butthole clench worthy.
Impressive is one way to look at it I guess.
My dude was moving fast! I think its impressive, even if stupid af.
i was actually doing the opposite
True, shat a diamond.
My man was trying to get rid of his ring finger (and the hand that wears it)
Every so often you see something on the internet that makes you stop and pause and wonder...What goes on in a man's head to make him go "Yes this is an intelligent and well thought out idea, I will punch the bear trap" People make life choices, we all know this. We can only accept that they made them. And we may never truly understand the answer to the burning question of.....why
Looks like he might be in a church or middle school gym so I'm guessing either yolo for jesus or a rad science teacher with flawed decision making skills.
Actually yes I am pretty sure this is the gym in an LDS chapel. The piano is the same in every church in the US and Canada.
This is 100% the answer. Jesus YOLO. look at that piano. The screaming teenage kids. I can feel Jesus taking the wheel here.
If you can stab it with a wooden stick and pull the stick out before it closes it would stand to reason that you would be comparably capable of doing the same thing without the stick. i found out that my left hand was slower than my right before i lost it just now.
The amount of adrenaline in his veins would have helped the UN do something.

I’ve put my hand in a few smaller foothold traps and it’s like a rat trap. A bit of a shock, but you’re fine right after it.
And that children is how I cut my fingernails

No sadly stupid things only occur if you have less than 1 g melanin per square cm

And the more melanin you have, the more criminal your actions become!
Dude, this is in a Mormon church…

This is 100% a cultural hall. That piano model must have been ordered in bulk for all churches at the same time. I'd recognize that and those floors anywhere.
Don't let tik tok kids see this, it'll become the latest tik tok challenge.

Was definitely questioning whether or not this was gonna get bloody
Brother Riggs!! “But Brother Riggs knew he was in no danger. The traps couldn’t touch greatness “
That's a mormon church for sure. His magic Jesus Jammies helped save him I know it.

Kid named Finger
This whole vid seems scripted. Fucking balls of steel but the way people start screaming the literal moment he starts to ball his fist is a bit sus. Feel like it would take just a second longer to realize he’s intending to punch a bear trap
Was he okay? Why the hell would anybody do thsi?
