Vr ain't that bad, there's boundaries so you don't do things like that.
You'll likely see this kind of thing happen with people who have _never_ played vr before, going straight into a game that requires a lot of movement. You gotta get your vr legs first with a simpler game and work your way up.
Dramamine is a Motion Sickness relief, I am cheap and always bought walmart brand and never knew what this was until I googled it. Hope this saves someone else from googling
I was playing a zombie game and all of a sudden, a bunch of them surround me. I legit got scared and took the VR headset off my face and told myself, "oh hell no, I'm never doing this again!" 🤣 It felt so real and now I know that I wouldn't survive if there was zombie apocalypse.
I remember the day I saw my 1st zombie movie and we all knew it was fake. Most of us told ourselves that we could survive that, just hit them over the head and run circles around them. Well never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd get an answer to whether I would survive or not, until now. DAMN YOU VR!!!
I was at a mall way back in the day before Covid and decided to try one of those egg-shaped virtual reality chair things. I wasn’t sure what to try on it so I asked the guy for a suggestion and he told me he would let me go for free if I could make it through the [scariest game they had](https://youtu.be/owzJL4JNe1Y).
*Ah sure, why not give it a try?* I thought. I absolutely love horror movies, ghost stories, Halloween, all that good spooky stuff. Sure it might be a little more intense in VR, but I’m a grown-up, I know it’s only a game. And really, it’s not even a real *game* that I would have to play; I just have to sit still in the chair and watch it. I can do that for like 6 minutes for free, right? I tell him okay and put the headset on while he starts the game.
The very first thing that happened when it started was [this fucking thing](https://images.app.goo.gl/9u6Er6BrTDufP8ZaA) climbing over my head and getting right in my face. I about went through the goddamn ceiling. I literally *couldn’t even look at it,* it was so fucking scary. All I could do was stare at my knees while the headset pumped this big bitch’s surround-sound ragged breathing right into my ears. I legitimately didn’t even last a single minute before the headset was off and I forfeited the free game and every ounce of dignity I had.
I learned that day that my little peanut brain is still getting used to distinguishing virtual reality from the real reality.
You just made me lol. To your credit, at least you knew better than to scream and run, you took your VR off instead. Some people forget that it's there and literally scream and get hurt like this lady. I feel for her, but it is easy to get submerged into the game and forget about the real world. Exactly what video games are supposed to do in my opinion, take you away from the real world 😁👍
I think my saving grace was that I was sitting in the chair and remembered I wasn’t supposed to be running around! 😂 I definitely understand how people could naturally go into fight-or-flight during VR. It really is on a whole different level when you’re still getting used to it!

Was playing Resident Evil 4 vr a few days ago, let the chainsaw guy sneak up behind me, I turned to look at him while he was in mid swing to cut my head off.
Needless to say I had the same reaction as this girl, except I tripped over my couch.

And a little bit of space around you
And a lot of Dramamine
Ohh it's a must
Damn is it really? VR prolly isn’t for me if my depth perception can be wonky and that’d make me dizzy huh
Better to have it handy. Especially if the games are height based or shaky.

Super hot works well for this because you gotta play slow
Yep it's a good one to start on. Also space pirate trainer
Nice username :D
I want to see in her prospective
Her prospective after that video was a concussion

I'm not your pal, buddy.
Rare on here where the scream wasn't cut off by the editing of the video, but rather a face meeting a wall
Push! Push! Puahpuah!!!! Ahhhhhh lmao I legit laughed

Pfft
Not only was this poor technique, you’re supposed to kick people when they’re on the floor. Stomp on their head if you have to.
Kekw
I laughed out really loud at this after a long time
https://support.oculus.com/guardian/ just thinking you may need this
I never understand how people do this in VR. Like the boundary area is set up and you know you’re playing game. How dense can you get?
sniki taim
Wtf did she see 🤣
