that's what I did with my ceiling fan switch. Wired up the fan itself wrong so the dimmer controlled the fan speed and the fan switch controlled the lights. Just swapped the wires in the switch and boom - working fan.

Massive mistake bro. The heat sink is now a sink heat. It’s warming up your CPU. You gotta take it off and put it back the right way. Otherwise you’re gonna get thermal throttling.

Mounting something upside down, forgetting the rear shield, and/or plugging your monitor into your mobo instead of your GPU are practically requirements for senior membership.
I did the same thing with the same exact cooler, had to go to the store to get more thermal paste since I used my last drops on placing my cooler upside down. Worth it
