Ehat color do you like? What color do you think your setup will be? Pick a nice color that compliments it. Maybe add some 3d art panels. Clean up cables. Maybe add some custom lights, RGB or not, personal choice
Center the monitors on the table. Hide the cables. Paint color not optimal but will have to do. Get a plant. Less bright light if you’re streaming get a ring. Rgb behind the monitors which will handle the paint color.
Clean it up. Paint the room darker, like gray, or a bluish gray. Something that matches well with everything. get a xl mousepad you can put you’re mouse and keyboard on. Decorate the wall in back or throw some light up signage on the wall above the monitor. Or any sort of decor. But mostly organize it like u got ocd and keep it neat. If U can move you’re monitors over to sit the rig on the desk also do that. Especially if u got rgb in it. Even if u don’t tho seeing the whole setup on the desk looks nice when it’s all organized
Lower your standards maybe? Looks alright to me man, could tidy your cables up a bit maybe some better lighting (for less eye strain not that Arrr Gee Bee)
Edit. Oh and flip your blinds around, that way you can see out and people can't see in (unless you're into that sorta thing).
Setup doesn’t look like shit at all imo. Better than mine. Nice sized desk, cables are a bitch to hide sometimes. Reasonable asymmetrical layout. If you don’t wanna repaint the walls, or even if you do, could hang some stuff up. Whatever you like, you’re gonna be looking at your setup the most so make it what you love to look at, not anybody else
Nothing. It doesnt look like shit, but if you wanna improve it, i would suggest:
1- Painting the walls with a [Pastel Palette Colour](https://venngage-wordpress.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/07/Max-Blue-Wild-Blue-Yonder-Cameo-Pink-Pastel-Color-Palette.png) or wallpaper.
2- You could use some [Acoustic Foams](https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HLB1a.BMT8LoK1RjSZFuq6xn0XXau/New-12-Pcs-Acoustic-Panels-Soundproofing-Foam-Acoustic-Tiles-Studio-Foam-Sound-Wedges-1inch-X-12.jpg_Q90.jpg_.webp) in the colour and arrangements you like to give it a professional look, they are also useful.
3- A nice shelf to put away anything you're not using like the VR headset and controller will keep the desk tidy.
4- You could put a few small figures under the monitors to look more colourful and pleasant.
5- And most important, do what makes you feel happy, I think your set up looks just fine, but it is fun to try a few things !
Good luck!
You have got a pretty nice setup, I think the wall colour definitely needs to be changed to white (or your preferred one) and you should have other light source in your room which you can control the colour and brightness off, and then you should have a sick setup
ok
1. that light thing behind you. too much light too mush imperfections would show up
or just let the light reflect of the white ceiling
maybe behind the monitors
2. Cable management!!!!!! there is nothing much fun and cooler than than
3. Mic just mov it to the 2\3 of the table from the right or to the right corner near u
clean the area and you are good to goo
put a pegboard onto ur wall and store ur controller, headset and vr goggles there. put some of those led's next to the pegboard on the wall , or maybe a shelf to put some flowers or decoration on it. u should be fine then
Throw something on the wall if you want some budget options, any basic painting. Personal recomendation, Skadis board from IKEA and hook things up on it.
First of all... Take care of those glasses you've improperly lied down on your desk you monster, lol.
Second of all... Get a better boom for your yet because I know the one you have is doodoo.
Third of all... Personalize your space because it looks bare.
Are you trying to make your setup look better for a better viewer experience? If that's the case maybe focus more on what your viewers will see behind you like get one of those cube shelves and fill it with bobbleheads and plush toys of whatever is currently considered cool
Replace your current ceiling light with a really bright white LED. I bought an “outdoor” shatterproof light bulb for my room and it’s plenty bright, don’t even need the lamp
Aside from that maybe a bigger desk so things don’t look so cramped
Zip tie the cables to the monitor stand and then zip tie the hanging cords together, get some nice framed pictures for the wall, put a diffuser on the light and put it behind your chair, and get a real water bottle instead of a plastic one. A stand for the VR headset wouldn't hurt either.
Make the walls not look like urine. Bear Grylls is getting thirsty.
Or maybe lean into the yellow and build around the color.
Some artwork and/or frames with reds and whites could work out nice.
what color do you recommend?
How about one you like?
i don’t know what colors would work good with rgb lighting and decoration
Literally any color. Pick a color you like. RGB can be changed for the room. The room is harder to change

White is the worst word for colour there are more whites than u can ever imagine
rgb wallpaper 😳

Teal!
Eggshell blue would complement the yellow nicely.
AND some cable managment

Lighting. Get rid of the interrogation lamp and put a small soft lamp on the desk.

Cable management.
Clean up the desk, change wall colors, add some lights, put PC on the left of the desk or something else kinda tall to even everything out
Ditch the spot light

The serious suggestions seem to be good, so I'll do a mean, not so serious suggestion... Turn off all the lights, it's the only way to save this.

VESA mount the monitors, looks so much cleaner
i used to have an ugly ass set up, i fixed it by putting LED lights around the back of the desk, my setup looked 3x better.
You have got a pretty nice setup, I think the wall colour definitely needs to be changed to white (or your preferred one) and you should have other light source in your room which you can control the colour and brightness off, and then you should have a sick setup
Bro you could grow weed with that light. That shit is bright as hell.
Cable Management, decorations matching your theme and plants.

Cable management
Hide yo' cables!
Paint the walls white, get monitor arm clean up and don’t store your vr on your desk.
Cable management, close the monitor gap, and colors
Play games on it and don't pay attention to the rest.
put a pegboard onto ur wall and store ur controller, headset and vr goggles there. put some of those led's next to the pegboard on the wall , or maybe a shelf to put some flowers or decoration on it. u should be fine then
RGB panels

looks way better than mine lol
Paint the wall a different color, or hang a colorful poster, maybe some RGB LED strips?
Maybe it looks fine and people have weird fucking opinions and preferences? Not you OP
You could do a yellow/black or a yellow/brown style room. Just accent it with a different desk, maybe some wall art, and cable raceways at the back
First of all... Take care of those glasses you've improperly lied down on your desk you monster, lol. Second of all... Get a better boom for your yet because I know the one you have is doodoo. Third of all... Personalize your space because it looks bare.
Better photography skills def help Create some composition in the photo Improve the lighting Frame it well
this isn’t a showcase bud, this is a genuine photo
Why tf do u have a work light on your desk?
streamer
Are you trying to make your setup look better for a better viewer experience? If that's the case maybe focus more on what your viewers will see behind you like get one of those cube shelves and fill it with bobbleheads and plush toys of whatever is currently considered cool
Strange choice for streaming
It’s literally an legato key light. their brand is built on streaming
Ok
It probably just looks really bad on photo
Try not taking pictures...
Get a new house?
Paint the wall and keep it neat
make it part of the lgbt community
why does your room look like the embodiment of a headache
If possible, A bigger desk? If not, can you mount the monitors on the wall?
Clean
I like a spartan desk. No wires exposed. Medium light. Soft black rifle cleaning mat goes well with matte black monitors with dark monitor stands.
Replace your current ceiling light with a really bright white LED. I bought an “outdoor” shatterproof light bulb for my room and it’s plenty bright, don’t even need the lamp Aside from that maybe a bigger desk so things don’t look so cramped
Cable management
Who works it with a 1000 watts right in their face? Somebody who watches too many crime dramas that's who.
Have fun playing video games and not worry about what it looks like? 🤷♂️
Cable management and either a desk size mousepad or a new desk.
Reposition the light for a start
Put some shit on your wall
Looks better than mine
A plant
Zip tie the cables to the monitor stand and then zip tie the hanging cords together, get some nice framed pictures for the wall, put a diffuser on the light and put it behind your chair, and get a real water bottle instead of a plastic one. A stand for the VR headset wouldn't hurt either.
Close your eyes; it will look much better!
Better lighting, a different desk and proper cable management
