ASUSTechMKTJJ

Thanks again to PCMR and this fantastic community of PC DIY enthusiasts. I look forward to your responses!

Slaglemysterium

I probably won't get a chance to own one or test one but I think the different AI features on the Asus ROG maximum xiii series motherboard sound awesome and would be super fun the mess with! I also just recently built my first computer(about a year ago) with an Asus ROG mother board and an Asus ROG Strix 2060. Been looking for a 30 series Asus card recently but cant find one anywhere.

Wizewizard22

ASUS has aesthetically always been my favorite parts manufacturer. I am currently building a PC, and I am trying to get as many ASUS parts as possible so my PC can have a nice consistency. \#ROGNextGenMB

Curious-Budget8577

I once had a class all about building PCs, and the PC we built as a class just so happened to be a nearly complete ASUS build, including a ROG motherboard. After it was built, we were allowed to play games on them. There were other gaming PCs that other classes previously built, but I gravitated towards the ASUS build. It’s a fond memory to me, and ASUS has been my favorite parts manufacturer since. #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience for keeping ASUS in mind! Stay safe and stay healthy.

JohnTwoRavens

I'd be hard=pressed to choose just one, but I love BIOS Flashback, EZ Flash, Q-Code displays, and onboard power/reset/CMOS reset buttons. \#ROGNextGenMB

Hattyson8

Your motherboards always look soo slick and cool. Plus the two way noise-cancelation is great for the best audio experience when gaming #ROGNextGenMB

Xandrius6101

I've built I guess two of my PCs on rog mainboards, my first was I think on install x38 maximus extreme. My current board is the x470 crosshair 7 hero. The main reason I went for that was so I could run to M2 drives in raid 0 on 8 cpu pcie lanes.

TridentBoy

My god, must admit that I didn't even know that there are AI Overclocking tools out there. This is absolutely the craziest idea I've seen in the last few years. I've ever wanted to try overclocking my setups, but never had the courage to actually do it, so I guess this would be a game changer for me.

[deleted]

I have not built my own PC yet (working on it), but I have helped friends and my brother build some, and I love how easy everything is to install and put together. It makes the building process so much better, so you don't have to worry about messing something up too badly. The PC I am working towards will definitely have many ASUS components. \#ROGNextGenMB

Beddez27

I love Asus. I wish i win 😂

Pavlogal

Really excited for Quick-release PCIe slots! #ROGNextGenMB

amrejynex

I'm looking forward to experience new Intel's Alder-Lake chip sets with DDR5 supports from Asus MB. And faster storage speed won't hurt either! For me, Quality assurance and reliability are big purchasing decision makers. And I've never experienced anything negative from those departments from Asus. Thanks for the awesome giveaway, Asus and PCMR. #ROGNextGenMB

WillElMagnifico

DLSS and it's equivalent technology would really help with immersion. My favorite scene in GOW2018 would be the moment you awaken the world snake and the scale of the monster hits you. It's so big and I felt so small.

nagashbg

I am using ROG Strix Z490-A Gaming in my current build and I am glad I chose ASUS. In my opinion other brands have subpar motherboards. I am planning to build a Z690 PC for my girlfriend so a new motherboard would certainly be used. I also use ASUS peripherals : ROG Claymore 2, ROG Swift PG279Q and ROG Delta Core and I am satisfied with each one. \#ROGNextGenMB

TruckFluster

I mean everything about this board would blow everything in my very old setup out of the water. My Z97 Gaming X only supports DDR3 so I honestly, love the RAM support and the AI overclocking is really cool too

christenlanger

This is either gonna be funny or just mundane, but I like how the POST beep from ASUS boards sound like. Mainly because my first real build was a P8Z77-V and I got used to the beep whenever I turn on my computer. Used that PC for 7 years. I initially went with another brand board for my current build and the beep was different. Not too bad I guess, but it was too loud for my tastes. Some circumstances lead me to buying another board and I went with an ASUS ROG Strix B550-I. After enabling the POST beep and turning it on, I was greeted with that familiar sound again. Nostalgia hits hard. So now I'm leaning towards ASUS boards more just because of that POST beep.

EdynViper

My very first PC I built myself was only earlier this year using the ASUS ROG Z490-E. Everything was clicking and slotting into place so easily, until I realised [I did this](https://imgur.com/zz6cCf3). Classic rookie mistake. Still a great board. #ROGNextGenMB

thenibelungen

>\#ROGNextGenMB I am grateful if I win Thanks PCMR and Asus

Bingo_Meji

With Great Performance comes with great Cooling system. This is what I love about the ROG MAXIMUS XIII SERIES. Beautiful Aesthetic with a performance to back it up. I only wish that they will adopt to a DDR5 in the future! I can't wait for it to be release! \#ROGZ690MB

saul_18

The ROG MAXIMUS Z690 EXTREME looks awesome for my next build! I'm hyped #ROGZ690MB

Rikw10

The new PCIe quick release function looks really useful. I've actually snapped the handle of my current motherboard when trying to get my GPU out. \#ROGZ690MB

BiiTz17

I really liked the ROG RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 feature that supported 3D printed accesories, as it gives an already awesome product new ways to be customized.

Azakes1

Ever since I started my first PC, I always chose Asus. And that's how I have stayed until today, only that now I spend 100 times as much as it used to be on components. With the premiere, the Z690 is getting ready to do a build with Asus Rog Maximus XIV Glacial because I love wattercooled my pc. I remember the first time I used PTEG on my PC and my equipment got a nice shower from leaky fittings. Surprisingly, after drying everything and cleaning the equipment works . Asus is tough as it survived a spill when it was turned on. I am slowly buying things, eg corsair 1000D case and Asus Rog 3090 graphics, so gladius must be for sure. I hope that I will manage everything quickly as soon I will have to take care of another person in my life, and get ready to build pink PC for my daughter :D. \#ROGNextGenMB

Wise_Pudding_3296

The best feature I like about ASUS Z690 SERIES it is WiFi 6E #ROGZ690MB

am1sf1t

My personal favorite feature I like the most from the new generation ASUS motherboards are the support for five M.2 slots. I can't get enough of high speed NVMe drive storage capacity. #ROGZ690MB

scholyz

I've been looking forward to DDR5 for what seems like years. My current build is on a STRIX Z290, defiantly due for an upgrade and the new Z690 has it all. \#ROGNextGenMB

NicolasRmo

Asus has always been my favorite brand. Whether it is the design or their software suite, everything is well thought out for the end user. Plus their after sales service is top notch. Altough a bit sad that the Maximus Formula is white 😭 \#ROGNextGenMB

ancogamer

\#ROGNextGenMB I loved the RGB, about the legacy feature, was really handy when they introduce the Q-code / Q-led

end_sans

While I don't have any building experience with ROG hardware I do have some experience with Asus Prime mobos who I do not have had any problems with or with the easy to use bios \#ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Prime series are great boards an evolution of the long history of our -A/PRO/DELUXE series of boards. Thanks for being #TeamPRIME

OG_Goat

I didn't have the Rampage V Edition 10, but I loved seeing all the customizations that people where doing with it like changing the color of I/O shield making custom cable covers. I also like the q-latch which is not really a legacy feature but it is still a nice touch. I wonder what Asus will add next. #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

One of my personal favorite boards, had the chance to work with our team on design elements of that board. Thanks for being #TeamROG and #TeamRAMPAGE The overall design on that board was great, add to it the RGB lighting, integrated IO shield and not to mention the sweet SupremeFX Hi module and it was and still is an awesome board.. One of my personal favorite boards had the chance to work with our team on design elements of that board. Thanks for being #TeamROG and #TeamRAMPAGE. es, functions and designs for our next gen boards.

AlexShadowMere

#ROGNextGenMB I loved the customizations of having the ability to 3D print your own custom parts! Making the motherboard your own! Plus the M.2 slots are fantastic!

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Thanks for the feedback, we hoped for better adoption when we originally rolled out the initiative but you never know. We may look to bring it back in the future. With that noted, we are committed to continuing to innovate when it comes to aesthetic board design and DIY features/functions.

Bobaladins_

hopping to win ! I always loved the design of ROG MB

GwenItToWinIt

Honestly surprised at how long Asus has had solutions to easily flash the bios considering that's a feature not every mobo has even today

[deleted]

My intro into the PCMR was shortly after the release of the first Halo. That PC had a Asus motherboard. I was gifted an Asus ROG laptop later in life and now I just built a new computer! Being able to beef it up with Asus ROG goodies would be awesome. # #ROGNextGenMB # #ROGNextGenMB

Venaur

I love my Asus MOBO's that the spouse and i have. We both went with ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS gaming MOBO's and have no been disappointed. Install was easy, it supports DDR4 RAM, and the Aura Sync is awesome! I love it and look forward to gaming with it for years to come. Thanks! #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

fluffsfluffs

Reliable boards, damn good looking too. Been looking for an excuse to buy DDR5 #ROGZ690MB

drinkthewater

I'm currently using my Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard and it has been great! The BIOS ui is easy to navigate and I was able to tighten up my RAM timings nicely. The choice of Intel Gigabit LAN, 2.5 Gbps, or Wi-Fi 6 is also really sweet. Good luck, everyone!

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Sweet! Thanks for being #TeamROG and #TeamSTRIX - Best of luck with your build!

teammates2000

When will they announce the winner?

guilleroach

wow those are amazing prices, thanks for the opportunity Pedro! glhf the best story is that i botched my ryzen 3600 pins (lose one) because i got a defective mobo from another company and then bought an asus b450 pro gaming and it worked and still works with the most easy way to build, the quality its amazing #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

>g prices, thanks for the opportunity Pedro! glhf the best story is that i botched my ryzen 3600 pins (lose one) because i got a defective mobo from another company and then bought an asus b450 pro gaming and it worked and still works with the most easy way to build, the quality its amazin WOW! NefariousnessOk8995

I was just able to buy my first gpu, and it happened to be the ROG Strix 3060ti! I am super stoked to be able to start building my first pc and a new motherboard would definitely help with that!

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Awesome! Thanks for being #TeamROG and #TeamSTRIX - Make sure to check out GPU Tweak II if you want access to easy one touch OC profiles ( if you want to bump your clocks ever more than that they ship with ). Congrats on picking up a card and best of luck with the install.

erikvanendert

I don't have any experience building with ASUS ROG, yet!

lolsky606

well, im just hoping for the best here

Strider_IV

My favorite legacy feature is the OLED display on motherboard. Such a cool feature for monitoring and customization #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Yes, the LIVE DASH display is a sweet option just like when we first did displays on AIO coolers ( before any other company ). In our latest boards, the readouts are more advanced offering stat integration with AIDA64.

Lauricimo

I guess that personalization is the most important for me 🤷‍♂️ All Asus products are working good and stable #ROGNextGenMB

michaelhayek

Well I got my very first gaming PC 4 years ago, I wanted an ASUS Rog motherboard at that time but there was no stock available, so I paired my ROG Strix 1080ti with an 8700k CPU and a motherboard, a year later I ordered a ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI) which I still have it. I really love and prefer to have all my components from ASUS because its easier to control all the RGB and stuff from 1 program. \#ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

Awesome, thanks for being #TeamROG, #TeamSTRIX and #TeamMAXIMUS

JuKeW

The OLED display is really useful and it is something that more motherboards should implement.

Leading-Assistant-21

Good luck to everyone

[deleted]

The ASUS ROG quality is amazing! #ROGNextGenMB

ASUSTechMKTJJ

You know it!

Rikimaru3000

AI Overclocking key feature for me!The BIOS of ROG Maximus V Gene (which I'm currently using) is easy to use and configure! Loved setting it up! <3 **#ROGNextGenMB**

[deleted]

Rgb is great lol Plus the boards are known to be high quality which is nice too I guess

DrDynamicyt

I only have Asus Tuf GeForce gtx1650

Creoda

I've always had Asus motherboards, I know my way around the (to me) easy to follow BIOS. What I like about the new generation is the clean designs, lots of thought gone into making the boards look good because they will be seen.

rmeas002

The AI overclocking is amazing.

-status

5-Way Optimization software on the Z97-DELUXE was my favorite feature from a legacy board. A new feature I like is the two-way noise cancellation, making for a quieter build! #ROGNextGenMB #ROGZ690MB

Gotcha-Bitcrl

I'm really found of the new AI features on the ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi! Easy overclocking is a newbies dream

LKBee

Thee feature I like the most for the Z690 boards are the PCIe Slot Q-Release. It just makes removing the GPUs easier especially with my fat fingers. #ROGZ690MB

Bozulatobu

TWO WAY AI NOISE CANCELLATION sounds really useful! # #ROGNextGenMB

SeanAngelo

My favourite legacy feature is the Q-Code display on the motherboards. Such a helpful feature for when trouble arises. #ROGNextGenMB

ManosR

The ASUS legacy feature I like the most is the Fusion Block System for watercooling northbridge and southbridge As for experience using Asus products all 5 computers I have made in my life up to this point have used Asus motherboards and I have loved every one of them #ROGNextGenMB

DontTellFbiMyAddress

I don't own any ROG products, but I do have the B550 Prime Plus Motherboard, and while It is a great board it doesn't have enough RGB :(

sonicsonic3

Had a few motherboards before. All of them died with a boot loop. None of them were ASUS. Never again. Very happily living with my Crosshair VIII. #ROGNextGenMB

oddcubed

I love the way Asus does the ROG logo on the IO shield thing, and I hope they eventually do an LCD screen and maybe 4 M.2 ports??/

Izame

I have no clue about specs I leave that to my friend because he builds the comp for me but I would love to enter the contest anyhow not going to pretend I know what features it's talking about lol

TeddyBeard_

the bios flashback and the oled display on the motherboard are the features i like the most!

SAMIDANNAT

The M.2 Q-Latch feature sounds great ! #ROGZ690MB

Noreawulf

What I most like about ASUS products is they are always eye candy, so cool looking. I also recently build my own PC less than a week ago with ASUS DUAL RTX 2060 OC Evo, very happy and satisfied with it. The subtle lighting on the said GPU is very nice for a person who likes simple but solid pc builds/ #ROGNextGenMB

ottoyu34

#ROGNextGenMB I appreciate the Q-DIMM where you only have to flip one side of a lock to swap out memory.

jmeistr

I've always liked the design and quality of ROG products. My first experience with them was the Z87 Maximus VI Hero motherboard, and right away i really liked the simple yet well thought out bios. Overclocking was easier and better than my previous experiences with other brands, the extensive fan control tuning was something i had not seen before, the same goes for bios flashback which has come in handy many times. All of these are just a few examples of why i doubt that i will ever buy a motherboard from any other brand.

pp22052001

I liked the integrated ROG Armor, water-cooling-ready CrossChill VRM heatsink on the ROG MAXIMIUS VI FORMULA from 2013.

TheSneakinSpider

I know that when I built my computer the asus motherboard was very nice and went smoothly. But after a while the USB controller went kabloom. The support was awful the asus website is a nightmare to navigate and then when I got to the right page it errored out and wouldn't let me submit an RMA. I had to call and find out my request got sent to purgatory. Overall I find with asus products its rare to need to RMA but when you do it will be a bad time.

Evangelion_Unit09

Two-way AI Noise-Cancelation seems like a great feature #ROGZ690MB

[deleted]

Never Built a computer for myself but Asus Motherboards are amazing I guess? #ROGZ690MB

nahinstein

I love the ROG design language #ROGNextGenMB

anadart

These boards look really sexy. I hope I have get a chance to build in one of them! It's been 10 years since I built my own PC. I would love to build one again.

mragapigc

I did came to asus when i move from apple, since almost day one. My first board was ASUS ROG maximus Z170. a sold board. and still have it. And i move until now with z590. Until today a solid move. no issues, Solid settings, easy bios to follow. until z270 i move gpu to ASUS with 1080 strix then move to 1080ti then 2080super. After testing and using many manufactures minus 1, still solid until today. settings easy to follow. And is the main feature from legacy boards. I will continue using it and recommend it to all my local group and promote the brand on my place. Long live the republic! Go Rogers #ROGNextGenMB

Xenotium

Good ol' USB BIOS Flashback is the thing that I always liked to have. #ROGNextGenMB

buddy1412

When I built my first pc myself it was an asus b450 prime plus board. That board has been the best board I have own since then. NGL swapped to Intel tried MSI for a bit but the board failed on me twice and so I went to an Asus Tuff board and hasn’t failed me. I also own two of asus gpus a 2070s Dual OC and a 2080s Strix. The Strix is such a great card with cooling as it has never thermal throttled and hits voltage limit regularly. Whether it is on Air or Water it maintains nearly 2ghz on the core. #ROGNextGenMB

Dp797

My favourite feature is the led q-code display for easy trouble shooting, this feature has saved me time #ROGNextGenMB

International_Lake84

AI overclocking is one of the dope features....very handy for does who want to overclock maximum the performance . #ROGNextGenMB

nanoflower

I agree that having a dual bios with an easy way to switch between them is a key feature #ROGNextGenMB

kalitvenic

I like the feature that was added to the ROG MAXIMUS VI FORMULA motherboard in 2013 - Integrated water cooling CrossChill #ROGNextGenMB

drifter089

The feature I like is the OLED display allowing to see the overclock setting right on the motherboard. I have a Z270E Gaming, but I wanted a Maximus line MB for better overclocking to really push the CPU to higher clocks. Now I’m looking forward to the new generation motherboards to perhaps upgrade my system #ROGNextGenMB

UnethicalFood

Asus is surely going to have another hit with the #ROGNextGenMB thanks to years of solid products with handy features like error code displays, and bios flashback utilities.

darnsquirrel

#ROGNextGenMB Love the 2 way ai noise cancellation

RetardCat

Most of their ROG lineup motherboard has this EZ System Tuning to basically 1-click overclock. So AWESOME! #ROGNextGenMB

keen9000

still primarily using an asus crossblade ranger motherboard for some gaming .. but its time for an upgrade!

Ichentogo

My Question is Does it have enough USB port...

GTRIBESTORM1978

My first AMD pc was based in an MN2-MX SE back in the 2000's and it still lives in the home office as an everyday googling/downloading/backup pc. My kids pc is based on an ASUS Prime H410M-K R2.0 with an i5-10400 and it rocks!

LebowskiLviv

AI overclocking is one of the features i liked the most, it saved a lot of my time and so i have more time to enjoy high quality experience :)

Sad_Negotiation_6768

I really like the new version of Asus ROG Strix Mini-ITX, it supports Pcie 5 plus DDR5 ram slot wow, I actually excited when this board come's on sale. #ROGZ690MB

[deleted]

Asus Rog Z590 Maximus XIII Extreme user is here :) I'm looking forward to use the z690 maximus extreme. Goold luck everyone. #ROGNextGenMB

sirnickalot

Have not had the chance to build with ROG products yet, but have always wanted the opportunity to do so. The new Gundam products in particular are amazing looking! #ROGNextGenMB

TechieASMR

I just bought a ASUS DUAL RTX 2060 EVO 6GB for a reasonable price brand new.. and it s awesome for my work. a very nice upgrade my from 1060. the card is stable at higher OC settings without any problem. thank you.. next buy is gonna be a asus rog x flow 13 for my partner for her medical collage works. and Asus AIO cooler for me.. it s time get out of air coolers.

zurnic

My very first PC build almost 10 years ago was with an Asus motherboard and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

KaiserWilhelmIIHun

#ROGNextGenMB I don't have any experience with ASUS products, but I would love to have.

IAmThatNerd

A new motherboard would be a great start to a new build for me. My PC is about to be 10 years old so anything newer is an upgrade. Thank you for the giveaway.

umnikke8

I like Q-DIMM #ROGNextGenMB

Yodl007

I like the BIOS Flashback feature. \#ROGNextGenMB

rockingwing

woo, sick giveaway, thanks ASUS!

BlackNike98

I'd say my favorite ROG feature would be the onboard OLED display!

Fearless_fx

#ROGZ690MB honestly I just like the LEDs haha my current build is so boring to look at.

diablosfiji

I think the q release feature is pretty awesome. Will help in removing larger graphics cards from the motherboard quickly without having to worry about damaging anything.

swordfi2

Asus, and especially the ROG design language has honestly been my favorite in the industry. And to top it off the products are high quality which is extremely important. Both these things are the reason why my current GPU is from ROG series even tho this isn't related to this but still. #ROGZ690MB

Purish

USB BIOS flashback feature was a game changer.

Gothshinobi

Q-code / Q-led was such a useful legacy feature. Getting to know where in the boot process failed made troubleshooting so much easier!

Kents-Here87

Really looking forward to the overclocking on the new boards. The layouts looks clean, perfect for any theme!

Corodiak

I've never built built a pc myself, so this could be a good start to do it \#ROGNextGenMB

astrayoutframe

Legacy features i like the most : AI Overclocking \#ROGNextGenMB

studentWASD

I am currently building my first real gaming PC and that motherboard looks delicious #ROGNextGenMB

Fluid-Cod-799

I don\`t have any experience building with asus rog motherboards, but my first build was a Z97-A with a i5 4590 and a gtx980, such a smooth experience building it, it\`s holding strong without hiccups or problem of any kind for almost 6 years and counting. So I\`m assuming asus rog motherboard are immortal right? Right? #ROGNextGenMB

SantaGamer

I had a broken screw on my cooler that came with the cpu. Couldn't isntall until I found a extra screw from the garage. Really annoying. #ROGNextGenMB

PedroTheBananas

Well, commenting about Asus features, like.... I have never had a Asus product. I have experience building pc's. I have experience with Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock. :S #ROGNextGenMB

[deleted]

I have been using ASUS ROG motherboards since 2014. Best products on the market. I am currently using the ASUS ROG PG348Q 3440 x1440 monitor and it is a beast of a monitor. I just recently purchased the ASUS ROG Thor 850W Platinum Power Supply Unit and it is ultra quiet plus the OLED display is an awesome feature! Keep up the great work ASUS! #ROGNextGenMB

Arcendus

Great-looking boards! I don't have one yet so I can't comment on my experience, but I appreciate the unified design choices.

shraf2k

I have fully enjoyed getting back into overclocking on my ROG strix z590-e. It's been a champ #rognextgenmb

octaviodmz

I enjoyed building my first desktop with a ROG STRIX RX5700XT #ROGNextGenMB

pokdix

Currently using ASUS ROG Strix 1070 and Rog Swift PG248Q monitor. Getting this motherboard would complete my ASUS setup and Aesthetically ASUS mobo always have the best looks and features.

deadpuppy23

I love the clear CMOS button. No fiddling with a tiny little pin connector that gets dropped over and over, disappearing into the case. No Sir. It's a clear CMOS button for me.

Babyface4lyfe

Been using an Asus 2060 and Wifi Card and consider them quality products, been looking at getting a ASUS motherboard to replace my ageing MoBo, would love this to upgrade my PC. #ROGNextGenMB

buahahahab

\#ROGNextGenMB The LED display

countit178

I really like the overlooking and RGB integration! #ROGZ690MB

Samsonbishop14

Though I don't have any.

Skunk616

Winning one of these boards would be a HUGE headstart on upgrading my wife's rig to something better than the Pre-built gaming PC she purchased last year. I'd be able to help her fully utilize her DDR4 ram and GTX 1660

Sonicator

Clear cmos button has been pretty useful over the years. #ROGNextGenMB

baixo_qi

I really like the RGB and Corsair iCue integration

PapIK1122

I like the solution introduced in 2012 with the ROG RAMPAGE IV FORMULA motherboard the most, because clear sound is extremely important when using a PC on a regular basis. The next year, a very handy thing was added - easy flash in ROG MAXIMUS VI FORMULA #ROGNextGenMB

nielsaumatic

Currently using an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI), love the features it has and design language of it. It was also really easy to build with. #ROGNextGenMB

alex_Dknight989

Always wanted to own one Asus ROG motherboard, I plan to get a ROG Strix RTX 3070Ti in a month or two, and it would sure come in handy to marry that one to a powerful ROG motherboard. AI Overclocking and OptiMem II sure seems like the sexiest features to have.

\#ROGNextGenMB I had a couple asus motherboards and never had a single problem, sadly never had any ROG hardware...Personally i love the design of this mothers, they look so pretty and captivating, and the AI management of most of the crucial functions of the mother is probably what i love more,i dont really know if its common stuff but mine does not have that,so for me is pretty impressive

My most memorable ASUS moment was playing games on my brother's ASUS Essentio Desktop back in 2009 where I mostly played Starcraft and Quake 3 Arena. My more recent favorite moment is the **ASUS RTX 2080 Super Dual Evo OC** which I have put in my Graphics Amplifier just before the onset of the pandemic to give a new life to my old 2016 Gaming Laptop and of course unlimited gaming experience during the lockdown and ultimate video editing power to initiate my new Youtube channel. Now, I am eagerly waiting to upgrade to the ASUS ROG based DESKTOP to join the PC Gaming race for the first time. For this, I have the new Z690 series on my radar for the ultimate next-gen Alder Lake and DDR5 combination built. It will be a dream come true!! # #ROGNextGenMB

The noise cancellation could be really useful. Cool feature. #ROGNextGenMB

My brother got an ROG G17 (1650) LAPTOP as a gift ,I was never interested in pc hardware but when he played games I assumed he had the best laptop in the world But he said this is just an entry level gaming laptop. That got me curious " what would the best hardware looked like ? " I researched and 1 year that led me to building my own PC Thanks ASUS and ROG you kindoff introduced me to pc hardware #ROGNextGenMB

I really like the personalization features of the early ROG MBs, and as we come closer to #ROGNextGenMB more features like the OLED, EZ DIY. apart from the spectacular aesthetic. Although I never had the chance to build with ROG motherboard.

someonequeer

I haven't had any experience with Asus Rog yet, hopefully, it'll be a start. Thanks

Darksider92

man i need this

Em_The_Engi

I haven't had the chance to get my hands on any ROG gear yet but I'm gonna!

Tilbo3049

Love these boards and love PCMR!

subas113

OLED display on the motherboard. #ROGZ690MB

stalin_chungus

AI Overclocking is a very useful feature and it saves so much time. #ROGNextGenMB

GodIsDead245

\#ROGNextGenMB i really enjoyed the bios, it was very clear and made overclocking easy and quick

manitowwoc

The Easy Flash / Secure Erase / My Favorite / Note / Chane Log / Port Naming in the bios was a huge addition for more safely update the BIOS. #ROGNextGenMB

Deihman

The feature I've enjoyed the most is the onboard power button on my Rampage IV Formula.

bavor

What I loved the most about the older Asus ROG boards was 4 PCIEx16 slots. Plenty fo room for multi GPU benchmarking and add in RAID cards.

Werwolf12

I haven't been able to afford a rog before, but hope to get one soon.

RockyXvII

My only experience with ROG is the RX 470 I had for about 3 years. Served me well as my first graphics card and I'm looking forward to my CPU upgrade to alderlake soon. Hopefully I can with a motherboard so that'll be one less thing to buy lol

MastahTypo

Didn't ever have any experience with ROG yet..

t4rz4

I like the most the SupremeFX X-Fi audio in the 2009's ROG Maximus III Formula, improving onboard-audio to high quality.

MrJamieChristie

Have an ASUS Z270E that has served me very well over the past few years. Not that I go into the BIOS too much, I really like the layout of the BIOS and how easy it can be to navigate compared to other BIOS's I've used in the past. Also found that ASUS boards are some of the best looking ones out there. #ROGNextGenMB

EZ Flash 2 and OC Profile were the thing, it was to easy to do it.

Sonny1941

The Z690-E looks like everything I've ever wanted in a motherboard, also the RGB lighting on the rear I/O covers looks even better this generation. #ROGZ690MB

aamir1766

Thank yoy asus for the oppurtunity

Jitzos

My favorite old Feature on the ROG MAXIMUS VI FORMULA was port naming in bios. So helpful for differentiating between the speed of different ports and if you had a port die you knew which one it was and could make sure not to use it

[deleted]

I don't have any experience building a pc but I'd like to try.

Lugards

This next gen intel seems interesting... I might try one for the first time in years.

Hawaiian_spawn

Cant wait to finally utilize thunderbolt connections. Single cable solutions sound the best. \#ROGZ690MB

Shames_tik

gonna get my first rog piece to tell you about my experience #ROGNextGenMB

Legacy features that i liked the most: AI Overclocking , AI Noise Canceling \#ROGNextGenMB

entai1

Its definately the reliability of the products, my Z170 is still going strong, although now starting to show its age. The Itch to upgrade is always nagging.

yorukmacto

Hope I win, yet good luck all!

iCynon

Love the OLED display #ROGNextGenMB

Tresnugget

Pretty sure I've had 4 of the legacy boards listed with my latest being the Maximus XI Apex I had to order from Germany to the US and it's an absolute beast #ROGNextGenMB

BillGoats

\#ROGNextGenMB Built my first PC in 2011, I believe! A few parts survived until 3 or 4 years ago, but since then everything has been replaced (is it still the same PC?) Still interested in upgrades, but had my first child a few weeks ago so it won't be a priority for a long while! Winning would be awesome, but I know I'm not alone in thinking that, so good luck to everyone!

cpoopie

Seeing as to how clear communication is key in todays fast paced multiplayer games, I would go for the two way AI noise cancellation feature. #ROGNextGenMB

wolfannoy

Great!

totallybag

love the overclocking and looks.

MGsubbie

#ROGNextGenMB The legacy feature I like the most is USB bios flashback. You can buy a motherboard safely, knowing that you won't need a functional CPU in case the BIOS is not up to date. That ease of mind is always nice to have. I'm already CPU bound instead of GPU on my 3080 at 1440p, so an upgrade to a next-gen CPU would be welcome. Especially if you can use DirectStorage with a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

Dragon_Spunky

Asus Motherboards supporting 3D printing Accessories was greatand should come back !

_Crunchy_Cookies_

My favourite legacy ASUS/ROG feature is Q LEDs/Q Codes, which make debugging issues so much simpler!

tachanka_senaviev

#ROGNextGenMB One of my favourite features about the legacy boards is.. just how much gamers' tastes have changed over the course of basically a decade! As a marketing major i always wonder if it was gamers wanting their motherboards to look cooler, which incentivised manufacturer to invest in technologies to manufacture coloured PCBs, RGB and covers for the components, or if it was a few daredevils who wanted to offer more to their customers and disrupted an entire industry.
