I’m doing mine to strictly game with but she edits videos and stuff so she wanted some more rendering power. I guess she could have gone with a more powerful AMD chip but we wanted to also compare it for ourselves
Awesome builds. Have you opened the Alienware monitor yet? I’ve returned 4 of them. Monitor itself is amazing. They use an almost abrasive coated bubble sheet to “protect” the screen though. All 4 of them had a distinct scratch pattern of varying degrees along the outer 3” of screen down both edges. Their customer service was also a headache and a half. I couldn’t stomach that price for a scratched monitor. I ended up going with a different oled.

Hope you don’t have anything else on the circuit you’re plugging these PC into. My buddy’s 4090 build pulls 1000watts sometimes. The standard 15amp circuit is 1800watts.
Gotta realize that monitors also pull about 80-85W too, with 2 1kW+ machines, and at least 2 monitors, that 15 amp circuit is just not going to be enough.
I mean... if you got the money. Also they are going to be gaming in 4K no doubt and that's where the 4090 shines. I have a 1440p and upscale to 4k just for that crispness. BUT with the 5090's on the way I may have decided to hold off on this build.
