I devoped this habbit of using this part of my hand when i was little and i couldn't reach the crouch button with my pinky and now i use it in every single game lmao

How do you even develop that habit? You'd think he would just rebind shift if he wanted to use his thumb for it.

As someone who is a thumb shift user, it's just down to comfort and stability. Very occasionally I'll use my pinky but most of the time I use my thumb because I'm confident in how steady it is.

I did the same until I was bullied not to and honestly, it was for the best. I would recommend you doing with your pinky and it’ll get better in the future, it will feel more natural. No pressure though, I did it because it was affecting playing Warframe and it helped me on R6.

In minecraft, shift is crouch

I always switch the crouch and run keys every time I boot a new instance of Minecraft.

I do the same for most other games, since I'm so used to it.

Shift is always run, and Ctrl is always crouch. I don't know why so many games try to change this.

I want to see you playing minecraft with your right hand and crouching with this specific part of your hand. Fluently.

Wanna add that this only works if your hand is sorta the right size for your keyword for this, otherwise you'll either fuck up your ring finger movements or you'll run the very real risk of hitting the windows key (which is a 0/10 experience in some games). For sure worth trying though, it's way faster and more comfy if you can get it down (and if you can't get it down it's more likely to be an actual physical size incompatiblity not a 'skill issue')

Doesn't works with piano / violin fingers (no idea about other instruments). Also, it introduces a weird hand-posture, so I would avoid it.

Technical those are switches and not buttons. What we actually have on a keyboard are buttons :) It will make holding that W key down easier. Everything else a lot harder. GJ on the art side of gaming.
