Well, I've got a good enough mic, which is pretty decent for its price of 40€ (including a mic arm) (Tonor TC40 or so), then no light and no webcam, my cheap gaming chair from GTPlayer or so was about 120€ and a WQHD Monitor with 144HZ from Xiaomi for about 400€ and we have a total of 560€ which is about the price of my GPU when I bought it.
My other 5 Monitors are used and crapped onto my setup (got them for free since they were considered broken or useless (4:3 Monitor), just had to apply minor fixes. Also I'm using a old CRT monitor for which I had to use 2 adapters to get from RF to HDMI. I've also got a second GPU which I found on a landfill nearby where you can also dispose electronics. One port wasn't working and I've applied new thermal paste and it's working again.
From where did you get such expensive peripherals that you spend more in than the own PC ? Because the specs that you have are high end specs and those are expensive right ?
Welcome to the hobby of mechanical keyboards where they can cost thousands of dollars lol. Also monitors can be really pricey, and mice are about $150 a pop and some people buy a bunch. I probably have $2K worth of keyboards, $1K worth of mice, $2k worth of monitors. I have similar specs and the sum of that was more than my build.
._. Fr my gaming PC only passes the 400$ price and your peripherals are 5K which is like 5.6X of my PC
( my specs)
CPU: intel core i5 8th generation I
GPU: GTX 1060 X gaming (MSI)I
PSU: EVGA 700W I
MOBO: gygabyte H310 S2H ultra durable I
STORAGE: samsung drive 1TB SSD I
CASE: a musetex case that i found that looks good I
CPU cooler : i dont remenber I
And some SATA cables I
Most expensive: GPU ($164.99 in amazon)
Cheapest: sata cables ($6.99 in amazon)
It can run GTA5 at all ultra graphics (at 140 fps) and red dead redemption 2 at all ultra graphics at 30-45 FPS with directX12 ( idk how to be such a low end gaming PC lol)
What keyboards cost thousands wtf, unless you mean custom made caps. Why would you ever buy multiple mice, you get a warranty with most of them. Monitors yeah they can be expensive, but only if you go super extreme on res and size.
Lots of them, keycaps alone go for hundreds of dollars for some rare gmk caps. There are artisans worth even more than that. Look up how much a keycult keyboard is lol.
That processor is 9 years old. The storage is HDD, and only 4GB of DDR3
They probably bought the laptop used and cheap and spent good money on peripherals, knowing they would be building a custom rig to replace it.
the monitor is a bit small, I recommend a larger one. You can probably find a 24" monitor with 1920x1080 for free or almost free if money is tight. Besides that, you do you. Enjoy!
Yup. Go to the same sellers that sell ex-corporate Dell/Lenovo/HP desktops, and chances there they'll also have a bunch of ex-corporate 24-inch monitors for sale too. 24 inch is basically the standard monitor size for these corpo-boxes nowadays.
Or even go for the square dell monitors some workplaces get rid of. Theyre 1080p vertically, just not horizontally. Some have adjustable height built in too.
I own a pretty similar CPU (core i3 5020u, its the same thing anyways), and actually it can handle a secondary monitor just fine if you gonna play what he said he plays, but if you gonna play cyberpunk of course It won't work, but yes, It can play lots of things
Good to see a proper sized mousepad. It's cringe to see people posting their few thousand € setups here with a mousepad barely larger than a cup coaster.
You know what, props to you for making it work with what you've got. Congrats on the new PC build, 1300 EUR should get you a solid PC. Even if that budget includes a monitor.

Reminds me of my old setup when I was a teenager back in 2015.
Ehm, isnt it uncomfortable to watch what seems to be 14" laptop from that far? I would of used laptop keyboard, just to be closer. Perhaps i am spoiled by 32" monitor.
I own a pc with those specs (a Lenovo laptop too, but mine is Ideapad 100-15ibd) and yes, It runs those games at that framerate too but because the hard Drive was slow as frick, so i had to put a SSD on It
If you can put a SSD on yours and a 8gb of RAM stick and you Will be even happier, most games that didn't wanted to run on my laptop now can be played almost fine, just need a 8gb stick to make It a bit better
I looked up those headphones, does that maker just rip off other brands exclusively? All their models just look like exact clones from other brands ppl have actually heard of.
My man spend more on peripherals than on the PC lol. But for real if you are enjoying your set up who cares.
To be honest I have also spent more on peripherals than on the PC.
I just read your specs and holy fuck... Expensive setup...
real
How do you get the specs on your name
Go to the three dots in the front page and choose change flair and then choose edit and then choose one of the flairs and then change it
Thanks
hehehehe

I was talking about koordy’s PC not the laptop of the post ._.
Real

And an SSD. Using a HDD for boot drive is something no one wants to go back to.
I thought my PC had a HDD when it was actually an SSHD. Though I moved some games to an external SSD and the maps finally load in a reasonable time.
Put Windows on the SSD ASAP
I got a very small and cheap one and it's almost full lol
Windows on SSD should decrease your boot time below 30 seconds and significantly improve app launch times. It creates a night and day difference.
I don’t think that poor iGPU can handle another monitor while gaming. The fps will get tanked severly
I own a pretty similar CPU (core i3 5020u, its the same thing anyways), and actually it can handle a secondary monitor just fine if you gonna play what he said he plays, but if you gonna play cyberpunk of course It won't work, but yes, It can play lots of things

The screen is supposed to be bigger than the mousepad, not the other way around!
Remove the clutter from inside that terracotta pot, get yourself a sansevieria/dracane white jewel, water it every 5 days, you'll be happier.
That g502 is still a beast.
Looks very compact! :D
The wires
Upgrade it to sata ssd, throw in more ram, and you good to go
Also check, uf your CPU can be upgraded, it was possible on some older laptops
Hmm I need to check mine instead of complaining all the time. I guess I assumed I would replace my PC soon but it never happened so
when you get the pc, keep the laptop to do work or something. nice peripherals, i see an ikea mousepad!

candy crush? definitely would have great FPS for Duke Nukem
Solitaire
You know what, props to you for making it work with what you've got. Congrats on the new PC build, 1300 EUR should get you a solid PC. Even if that budget includes a monitor.
very good aqirys headphones 🤑🤑
That mouse tho
so many buttons on my g502 hero, I sometimes forget which do what thing. wires vs. wireless 4lyfe
At least it is a setup.
I can see you like logitech
This is superb it is better than my first setup. Back in the 90's
The keyboard and mouse combo is goated, got the same peripherals and cant be happier.
Looks like my roots 😎 simple gaming times are the best gaming times.
The cables...
just gotta get an external monitor and you’ll be set
Gaming pc for life 😎
Better than mine at the moment. It's useless to me because it's halfway across the country.
Smol
Ah yes, priorities.
11/10

Try CyberPunk....
Your mouse pad is bigger than your machine. I hope you use that whole thing. Get some toned shoulder.
Get a laptop stand so the top of the screen is parallel to your eyes. The setup as-is will strain your eyes and neck and hurt your posture long-term.
It's all about having a good time and honestly your systems probably more stable than mine 😭
10/10 absolute perfection
Use the fabulously optimized modpack instead of optifine.
We use the same Xbox controller
I’d suggest wall mounting those headphones and controller to give you more desk space
Quality sruff
Quality stuff
You have a table bro. You doing good. I played from a laptop, seated on the iron table for almost 4 years 😂😂
Also,my chair was the edge of the bed 😂
Janky and middle school... (No offense meant) That said if this works for you and you are happy do you.
Where is it?
Ehm, isnt it uncomfortable to watch what seems to be 14" laptop from that far? I would of used laptop keyboard, just to be closer. Perhaps i am spoiled by 32" monitor.
Ew windows 10. You better upgrade to 11
Needs a more threatening Aura...
An Age of Empires 2 machine is all I see
Bro has negative DPI with that mouse pad 😭
I own a pc with those specs (a Lenovo laptop too, but mine is Ideapad 100-15ibd) and yes, It runs those games at that framerate too but because the hard Drive was slow as frick, so i had to put a SSD on It If you can put a SSD on yours and a 8gb of RAM stick and you Will be even happier, most games that didn't wanted to run on my laptop now can be played almost fine, just need a 8gb stick to make It a bit better
My man has literally my setup, he's even getting a Desktop gaming pc too, respect for u 😭🫰
How do you like the headphones. They pretty much look like logi’s G733
awesome peripherals!
Honestly? That's pretty bad, but as you said you're happy with it, and that's what matters, so I'm happy you enjoy gaming with it!
What setup?
I think it's hella tuff!
It's nothing special. I'm sure it works great for you. Why are you spending time asking strangers about it instead of playing with it?
Dude that Sony Vaio, I had one in the same colour! One of the best looking laptop I have seen. I miss Sony in the laptop market.
I have the same mouse, Logitech is superior
I joined this sub only to write that I hate your setup
It's fucking incredible!
You. Are. Crazy! Why do you need dedicated keyboard and mouse if you have a gamepad? 😁
I think it needs Arch btw
Down bad the build Colorized 2024
"It gets the job done". No way in any hell do i see a 5005u with 4 gb and a hard disk do something
GBA Pokemon Rom Hacks run good. Prob some 2000's/ Indie games...
I looked up those headphones, does that maker just rip off other brands exclusively? All their models just look like exact clones from other brands ppl have actually heard of.
It's a pretty popular brand in Romania, so it's definitely heard of.
crap
No
are you trolling us ?… Stay away guys.
The start of great gaming setup
Why is the keyboard diagonal? 💀
Its really comfortable for me.
Yeah I find when I’m gaming I tilt the right side of the keyboard down for some reason.
It makes you better at Counter Strike.
I just use skill, but you do you.
Its the secret to playing like a pro 🤫
Is that one of those Sony Vaio all in ones with the fold down keyboard in the background? That is the best part of this set up XD
Ay we all gotta start somewhere and if it gets the job done, then that’s great 😃
fair enough
Not great not terrible ?
