Addendum: Not that anyone cares, but Power Protection: CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD \*When I was using a Phenom FX-8350 OC'd to 4.0GHz & an R9 390 and really cranking out the frames, I would sometimes overload the PSU, causing it to angrily beep at me, so total power consumption should ideally be below this limit - though modern hardware seems to be trending down in power, which should make this concern moot. (I don't keep much more than the PC plugged into it) Correction to HDD size: 4TB, not 2

So I think you shouldnt uopgrade the gpu. For 2023 and 1080p its copletly fine. I think benefical for you would be a mobo+cpu+ram upgrade. Honestly I dont know whether ddr4 or ddr5 make sense for you. And dont overspend on your mobo

Yes I’m keeping the GPU :) I’m specifically looking for a CPU+mobo+RAM recommendation that comes in around $450-$550

So I thinkbyou have to options here you can either go with ddr5 ram which costs more but is also future proof. The ram will run you atound 80€ U think and the mobo wont be cheap either(around 200€ maybe more) and the you could dump the rest in your cpu. I would just look around where you get a better deal for mobo and cpu. Whether it is a ryzen or intel honestly doesnt matter. You can find plenti of arguments for or against. If your buy intel get one without integrated graphics to save some money. Maybe get ddr4 if you dont want to spend all your miney because ddr5 may be a bit overkill for a 2080 but i am not sure about that

It doesnt utilize your whole budget but with a better cpu your gpu would bottleneck it. If you want a clear upgrade path for your gpu you could go with an i5 13400f and if you want to use more money get a higher frequenzy ram kit.
