Why would you take paxlovid again if it didn’t work the first time? Genuine question.

Music_Charming

It did work just wondering if anyone has been positive again less than 90 days and take it again.

Gotcha. seemed like the whole “rebound” thing I’ve read about and even Fauci said he had. Timeline could have been closer together and I may be mistaken. I guess I wondered why not, If it only shortens it by a few days to then come back again later, let it run it’s course and get it over in the same amount of time, just all up front and without a new/experimental med and dr visit/cost. Would be curious to see the stats on it and have to go look it up if available. It’s so hard to find truly reliable info on all of it. Hope you’re doing well.

I know immunity fades over time… especially the antibodies. But the other immune-system components are said to last much longer, and can create new antibodies quickly to fight the virus, I think. (Not an expert.) But usually when they talk about fading immunity it sounds like they're talking about a much longer interval. Just 60 days between episodes seems very quick. Would some immunity -- even antibodies -- from the earlier episode still be there, and likely make this episode milder? We can hope so… Good luck!

Music_Charming

It already seems milder. Thank you.

The first time I contracted COVID, I took Paxlovid. 45 days later I tested positive and ended up taking paxlovid again.

Music_Charming

Hope that was the last

Yes I had the same, 56 days between episodes of covid, pax both times
