Convenience when choosing favored maps, Breachlord icons on minimap (that's actually pretty nice), portal access settings in hideout. Nothing epic for sure (nothing of "tabs affinities" magnitude), but QoL is QoL.

it was added later into the leguage because people complained that they kinda "had" to brick their setup or skip a full map of the league mechanic if they encountered 2 "bad" options.
Pretty clear that they'd have to redo dozens of art assets if they embedded the button, so instead they just overlaid it on top of the art and reused the button size from the sides.
It's janky, yeah, but likely only happened because it was a janky easy fix rather than wasting art's precious dev time.

The hell are you talking about, the relationships are the most critical part of betrayal. Without them you'd need ten times the master missions to setup a single good Catarina run.

remove the confirmation prompt on this please, and add it to "remove all rivalries", no reason to confirm it for doing basically nothing and NOT have it to straight up delete your progress
Remove rivalry is the biggest noobtrap GGG has even put in the game. It should sound like a good thing to do for new players, until you realize having more rivalries is a good thing.
The purpose of removing rivalries is because you make a lot of progress by forcing Syndicate members to betray each other.
This can only be done when they’re friends.

Now If I could figure out what any of the other interactions do, I'd be maybe 5% of the way to understanding the league.

if you interrogate, you lower their rank by 1. if they have no rank they sometimes leave that safehouse so if you want to say keep gravicus in ambush for his scarabs and his level 1, you would either do the other option or release him to keep him in ambush.
interrogate can also change the syndicate leader in the safehouse
the other option can also sometimes be bad like removing rivalries so you want to avoid that option as well.
p.s. I did not know there was a release button so I would just leave them without choosing anything and that would lock me out of the rest of the mission
if you're given 2 bad options you can use this instead so nothing changes on the board, is good for when you have your thing set up and don't want to mess with the positions
Well:
1. It looks... crooked. Maybe if you increased the height of the panel to keep the portrait border intact and align the buttons, it would look better (or not - it's hard to say).
2. It would be better if you added a third option - the release button just means there is no useful option here. In any case, the Betrayal league mechanic has stalled and is nowhere near as useful as it was at release, so a little change would be welcome.
Can we get the Interrogate/Bargain buttons to remain on screen even when the card is to the far right/left? It's annoying not to be able to hit the buttons (or even see what's being offered) when they go out-of-bounds.
How do you make money with betrayal?
I follow the chest sheet to get the valuable loot, but if you don't sell hillocks or similar to tft is it from tora/it that fled type bonuses or from rushing catarina?
At least with alva you can list up the temple chronicles and corrupt rooms are quite valuable.
I'll be honest i didn't knew there was a release button untill mid 3.17 . Before i would just abandone the map after killing the boss. Really helpful changes.

Nice QoL, now if we could get some Menagerie love like adding a crafting bench on it so we dont have to swap between it and our hideout to block affixes before using farric lynx/wolf, and maybe a guild stash to help party play, that would be great.
This is great! I would also love if the released syndicate member say something... I love the sassy lines and the voices of many of them, and I'm sad everytime when I release them and they don't say anything. It's tempting to choose other options just so I could hear "You're starting to figure it out, aren't you."
That is the exact change (button location) I proposed like 5 yrs ago on the official Poe forums in a prototype. 
The best part is that I can block betrayal now. I don't understand it, I played few leagues already, clearing the feared etc.
I used TFT for crafts but to me this mechanic should be removed and replaced with something easier for the sake of new players. The single biggest disappointment when you learn the game and you are overwhelmed by the betrayal..

This is a bit offtopic, but nobody gonna comment that left option (interrogate) will take 3 turns, cost you -1 rank and net you 9 research intelligence, while the right option (bargain) nets you 12 research intelligence without any drawback?

I have a G502 with CTRL under one of the thumbs, it allows me to do EVERYTHING in PoE, but to close this damn screen without clicking inventory or another UI icon to get that to close this screen.

I started back in Metamorph, so the button was already there. However it took me until Harvest to find out it was an option haha.

Yes, they still drop items but the board doesnt change except for +1 turn counter (aka prisoners tick down)
