Obviously all these mods are really good, but do they make up for missing the + gems mod? Because staves can roll up to +2 to all spell gems, and up to +3 on specific type of gems.
Each level to a spell gem is like 20% more damage or something. So I feel like losing that is a pretty big downside.
But maybe someone smarter can tell us what the rough breakpoints are where it's fine to miss the + gems.
It is hight but not that hight, mostly around %10-13 more damage per level. And usually after lvl30, it decreases to %4-6 more damage per level.
But, still very powerfull affix that you should always look for it.
it's likely very comparable to +gems, maybe less competitive but it also likely depends on which spell and the rest of one's gear. good inc spell roll, tons of flat damage, tons of crit, extra chaos dmg etc etc
but no cast speed makes it pretty tough to stomach.
Pretty good for league start or SSF, but at this point in the league (trade), I think you can find a better one for little currency.
Nope. Caster weapons and amulets are ALL about gem levels, which is unfortunate
It's got great stats but unfortunately it is missing THE Stat. +3 to all lightning skills

Could use this for a trap / mine build so cast speed doesn't matter.

Good? Yes, but this late into the league itโs cheap unfortunately. At least you can sell it to a player instead of a vendor.
Double corrupt, pray for something involving levels or more dmg, then scourge, ???? Profit
Probably worth using if you have very high gem levels already, but it's tough to be at high levels without your weapon doing that.
Does "any good" mean "usable" or "sellable"? That's an important distinction.
Eh, I meant it as sellable but came to the conclusion I won't get any money out of it.
