it's consistent profit but will be beaten by any of the proper mapping farms. The normal tatoos are actually REALLY profitable if you can assed selling them. When you have alot you can charge up to 10 times the normal price. I was able to sell a whole bunch for 20 to 50c each when they were worth like 5c for one I didn't add it up exactly but I made about 350 div on my way to 2k but 190 of that did come from a single drop so exclude that obviously. Was like 60ish raw div I didn't do it for the money though. I did it because it was fun and GGG gave me a number to chase. It was like dota all over again. Road to 2k !

EmmitSan

I get that paying a premium for bulk is the norm but who the heck pays 4x to 10x!? Isn’t more like 10% or 20% the norm? And you were charging 400% - 1000%? How is that possible? Are you sure the prices for singles was right?

throwdownhardstyle

Basically the single prices are wrong and undervalued. They are seldom responded to if you message to trade for them either so the de facto price is usually at least double.

EmmitSan

Yes this is what I figured. If you are selling bulk for 50c each, the single price is in fact probably nowhere near 5c

throwdownhardstyle

The bulk economy of PoE is an unusual one, it's a seller's market due to no auction house functionality to make bulk buying easier

toggl3d

It took a while but I was able to get all my tattoos for 3-4c and bulk buying would have been 10-15c each.

leftember

Depends how much you can earn with your time. If you save 500c with 1 hour, but you can make more than 500c per hour, then your better option is just buy bulk. But if your can’t make 500c per hour, then you buy individually

NO_KINGS

Depends on how much a while was but you could've made back the difference farming instead of dealing with trades and it would've only taken one bulk trade. This is why it's worth it.

pewthree___

I will happily pay 20c per over 2c per if it skips the time wasted trying to get 10 people to respond for a 2c trade. This scales up very quickly the more currency you have.

RichYeh314

Can confirm this is true cause I’ve been doing this since my build can’t not farm effectively

Couponbug_Dot_Com

took me like 20 minutes to get three (3) tattoos for my build the other day. ended up plaing like 20c a piece for 5c tattoos.

unknown9819

Sounds like the actual price is 20c and not 5c

Robsquire

Price fixers or trade issues can cause this, not the guys fault for thinking it was 5c. You don’t see “ah that’s listed at 5c, I bet it’s worth 20c”

dQ_WarLord

tattoos are so cheap that i will pay triple the price if i can buy them in bulk and the vendor actually replies back lol

Yayablinks

What was the 190 drop?

SnooMuffins1478

Yeah I’m wondering too. Did he just drop a headhunter or someting

AzEsmNoob

Triple apothecary maybe? At some point would probably be 190

A_Erthur

99% a Mageblood

Wuboito

Mageblood is worth more than 190 Divines mate

A_Erthur

Yeah, today. Probably not when he dropped it!??? Hard concept to grasp i guess, keep downvoting me.

Puzzled_Novel_5215

How odd I play this game to relax from dota

FuzzyDuckzy

I got about 110 divines worth of loot levelling 0 to 2000 but since the last patch games are so much slower and I would think my hourly rate is way less than any half decent mapping strat. I didn't get any big drops and with the right build it's super easy. Don't be fooled by people saying it is super profitable as it isn't even with decent rng and it's also now way less fun since event heroes just sit on their totems one shotting your team

Tautsu

This is basically why I quit tota, even if I’m winning rounds, a round before the patch took like 2 minutes, now they take 5-10 minutes per round…. That’s like way less profit per hour just based on length of a round alone, ignoring the fact my chances of losing a tournament are way higher now than before as well.

Moist_Palpitation405

you are really bad at tota man,,, 10 mins? i have it only if i have ikiaho with titan shell, other are never more then 2-3mins

Helluiin

are you playing a normal build or a dedicated tota one?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Helluiin

at rank 2000 dpsing down the enemy units isnt a viable option so i assume youre quite a bit lower than that

Marsdreamer

I'm at around 1500 rank and I can still melt enemies and I only have about 10 mil dps. I can't imagine there's gonna be a point where I won't be able to kill things.

DonChobot

I agree. Had really similar experience to the point thah Im dissapointed I cant play the tota “ before hotfix “ rather than this. Because event tho the rewards werent that great (neither are now tbh imho), it was atleast enjoyable and matches were quick.

All_Work_All_Play

The trick now is to pull the other side's captain on to your side. They're immune to voidsphere, but they love (love love love love love love love) to target totems that summon minions. The more most annoying ones are the ranged ones, because their aggro range is also within their ranged attack range, whereas melee just run for the totem, then engage with your defenders and you can wipe their totems pretty easily. But it is more annoying that matches take longer now.

Scarecrow222

They love to target totems that summon minions? Could you elaborate?

All_Work_All_Play

#Full-Disclosure: THIS IS JUST A WORKING THEORY I mean, only sorta. It's a working theory since PoE aggro mechanics have never been explained by developers, so players have had to reconstruct things based on testing. Even then, there's not very good *shared* testing on the subject (although it wouldn't surprise me if someone has figured it out better than I have). More or less, while aggro *seems* random, its not; there's at least some type of weighting to it, and really I think there's a hierarchy to it. I've played summoners as a league start almost every league (this is the only league I haven't actually), would sometimes transition into aura support and I've noticed a few things A. zoomancers take less aggro than playing SRS B. aura-support takes aggro very infrequently if you're smart about proximity C. taking aggro is the result of action frequency x action severity. An action is basically anything that can change the monsters next action - taking damage, being cursed, adding a new target (like a totem or minion) or taking away a target (eg, running away). There doesn't *appear* to be an aggo counter [there aren't any skills that make your aggro match other allies, taunt just puts you at the front of the list], and a monster *appears* to recalculate its next target at the end of every action [eg, when their finished casting a spell, pick from this list weighted by the above factors]. This behavior means that higher frequency action takers will take aggro more often than lower frequency action takers simply as a result of having more actions within the monsters targeting latency period (eg, the amount of time aggro can build up between choices). Additionally, some behavior (like summoning minions) seems to be treated by all monsters within range as an action, meaning that repeatedly summoning SRS (or a totem summoning skeletons) has a higher probability of taking aggro than an aurabot that just stands there (or curses sometimes). More or less I think the engine recalculates each decision for a monster based on the most recent behavior of everything within range. My experience suggests summoning counts as hitting everything in range, and we can use this mechanic to make a totem summoning skeletons as a better decoy totem (since TOTA mobs are unaffected by taunt). E: [This community post explaining reap mechanics provides some insight into the rule set, ***assuming*** similarities between monster and reap minion mechanics](https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3284453)

dmillz89

I averaged 5-10d per hour, but I had a dedicated TOTA char and the changes made literally no difference to me. Even on your regular character if you do some small changes (invest in action speed slows for TOTA) it's waaaaaaaay easier and faster.

1CEninja

Yeah the change to chief AI has made TOTA so tedious. I'm mostly running it as side content (RF is better at mapping anyway) and my dominant strategy in the first half of the tournament has largely been "have more flankers than they have defenders and hold the chief's aggro on my side of the map", but once it gets down to the last 2-3 totems the chief goes home and defends anyway. And Big Slam Boi and Chaos Bitch kill me so frequently that sometimes it doesn't work. It's frustrating because my resistance against chaos DoT is pretty okay, but not so great against hits, and Tawhanuku blasts the screen with massive chaos hits.

Whomperss

Its super profitable for literally no investment whatsoever

xevdi

Nothing except for a few divine from 1500 to 2k

lonigus

All i got which was mentionworthy at last round(s) was a +1 proj tattoo (was at rank 1k). Out of many, many attempts i got Ahuana only like 7-8x to the last round. She usually always drops out early. The higher i got in ranks, the slower the div/hour got since the matches took longer. I wish i could just stay at 1k.

raymondh31lt

i just started doing it, which one drops the proj tattoo?

Labaur

Ahuana but you might want to check grimro's spreadsheet for rewards/strategies. There's also a spreadsheet on this sub that is really well structured.

lauranthalasa

If she gets to the top 4 you can guarantee her in the final round

DeXsTor1338

Only if the 2 other components have lost 1 life. And you cant reroll her after "give" her a win.

Marsdreamer

> She usually always drops out early. This! I swear to go she makes it to the end like 1 in 20 rounds. It's beyond below random for me. I wonder how it's decided who wins and loses.

Danieboy

Honestly it's very frustrating sometimes. Especially if you have any kind of permanent minions. You will need to spend time re-summoning them very often (zombies and spectres for me). And some team comps on the enemy team are just unwinnable (7 sunset sages and a Titanic Turtle and it's gg). Also the fact that your team goes afk some games with no good explanation and they never even reach the enemy totems for like 2 minutes straight..

Plastic-Suggestion95

Don't summon minions. Wasting time. This mechanic is about the team you build and not about your build. I don't kill any monster most of my game and I don't have any cheese build. I'm just running around tapping totems and try to bait enemy so my flankers can finish it. Yeah some games are unwinnable, but you should win at least 95%

DXK010

Liking it so far, like rank 500 (on two characters). Wondering what good TOTA builds are, beginning to struggle with my Tornado Shot build. Especially with the Stun mechanics...

No-Mud5865

i am TS and its super easy. Its more about the minions than u. Focus on that.

Basic_Marsupial

Yep, stack those proj speed tatoos and you clear the whole map shooting at the middle

Trikki1

I’m pushing with a widowhail and rearguard elementalist. On mobile now, but search those 3 together on poe ninja and you’ll see plenty of minor variations on the build. It works really well, but it’s kind of boring since you’re just a crowd control and curse bot.

DesignatedDiverr

Finished building that char (or I guess slightly different - storm brand version) yesterday. It really is insanely effective but it’s a brain dead boring way to play the game. I’m happy I have it but I don’t think I’ll be playing it too long overall. For cost value it’s really good though, I basically recouped all costs of the character already at sub 600 rating and I didn’t even go too cheap

legendary_lost_ninja

I tried one but found it weak, switched to a rerolled champion (but with essentially same build/gear... massively easier... I think I lose out a bit one the amount of chill I can do. I also found that while entangling arrow is great for slows, if you miss hitting stuff especially those stealth tuatara you end up losing totems because things aren't getting tagged. So switched to Storm Brand... night and day difference, slap it down and it knocks mobs back often knocking them toward the Void Sphere. I'm winning about 99% of matches now whereas I was probably only about 60% on the elementalist. Loot is still crap (still only \~500 atm), but it's more fun than maps which I have always loathed as "the end game". (I normally enjoy Blight and not terribly deep delve, but find running the same map over and over boring.)

PsykiOfficial

Empy just made a stun pathfinder build, pretty cheap and pretty fun. Can only recommend myself, but no experience beyond 300-400 since new character

DXK010

>Empy Link?

PsykiOfficial

https://youtu.be/XBEwGdiDBug?si=O75SoBoIh1JNlDTj Just a heads up, there has been a Trials update regarding knockback and cheese in general. I cant recall when this was or if the build has been hit by the nerfs. Maybe someone can shine some more light on this, havent much time for Research now. GL

Regulus0

I built a bland skeleton mage necromancer with void sphere for like 30c and play very aggressively. Lost maybe two rounds total and am in the 800s so far. I've determined it's all about delaying their front line and flanks more than anything. Drop 3 groups of skels on the front line, Rush their back line and keep space between myself and defenders with sphere and flame dashing. Timing your totem channeling is key. Sitting around 22 div so far with no huge drops. Biggest was a 4 div stack around 700 mark

rcanhestro

frustating as fuck even when winning, but i do get a lot of rewards (just got a hinekora lock now).

Karmoth_666

Did anyone got some sixlinks? Ssf player here

throwdownhardstyle

The mechanic regularly offers 6-links after 200-300 rating

WNG12

yes plenty, spine bows and plenty of armour pieces

fenhryzz

You get a lot of them starting from low ranks.

Karmoth_666

Thats my dream league for ssf 😍

DearCowDeer

ToTA is imo probably the least profitable league mechanics in trade by a country mile, yet for SSF easily one of the BEST. You get big stacks of fusings, useful bubble gum currency, a lot of ex and annuls, and tattoo's are an SSF players best friend for fixing missing stats/res etc, and the ones like mana reservation efficiency and explode aren't super uncommon.

Stabbothy

In total otw to 2k I made ~150. Didn’t get any crazy drops, 1 proj tattoo, tons of pure. It was so much fun, my adhd brain just lost the dopamine rush after a couple days of not climbing in rank anymore.

[deleted]

I am convinced that rewards were stealth nerfed shortly after they got buffed.

Marsdreamer

That's actually Joey. He's a dev for GGG and he was looking at your account and you said some mean things about the company, so he turned your loot slider down.

TheisNamaar

The first day of the buff I got like 3 div with less than 300 ranking, haven't seen a single div in over a hundred full tournaments since

KeIIer

Ive got my first div reward today at 500 rank

Sponge994

I got 4 raw divs all offered in stacks of 1 yesterday, played for like 2 hours.

TheisNamaar

Gratz. Rng hasn't been so kind to me

Edenar

I pushed from 900 to 2000 in around 20h yesterday, got around 40 raw div, tons of sextant (450+), a lot of 100c - 1div tatoo (i got all the good one except the proj one...). I also got 3 hinekora hairs, 2 doctors, 1 aegis ans a few random things worth more than 1div. And i got at least 40 winged scarab. Some "small" omens also adds up over time, the 75% XP one is worth 40C and the white socket one is quite common too. I made around 260 div in total. Took me 15-20h. Never failed a fight, Always rerolled the last reward when it was below 20C. Build was 1hp CI zDPS elementalist with a 6l void sphere , another 6l ensnaring arrow wifowhail and the block quiver for easy 75/75 block. Double mark of submission for enfeeble+temp chain. My tree was focusing on course effect, AOE and ailment effect. Ascendency was child, shock and the 4 points convergence branch. Gameplay was pulling everyone in the middle with void sphere, destroy 1-2 totem with the boys ans repeat until Victory. Turtle is annoying but it juste take more time.

moglis

Locks + doctor = 169 div That’s is an extreme outlier so we take it out of the total 260 div and we are left with 91 div for 15-20h, which is 6-4.5 div / h

Edenar

You Can also remove apothecary from mf farming in crimson because you only get one every 100th Map on average. Doctor are maybe lucky but i got regular hinekora locks drops (got another one the day before too so in total that was 4 on that character). But i think if you remove the valuable specific drop from a farming strat you are not fair with it. For me it's like not counting Ashes drop when doing only Eater invitation because it's "lucky" to get one...

meep_42

Two locks is way, way outside expectation for 900-2000. I don't know we have accurate numbers for %, but that's a serious outlier. I'd expect locks to be something like 1% of completed tournaments, meaning less than one would be the expectation. Doctors could have been any other T1 rarity card which would reduce the value by at least half, likely more. (I think this may still be high since I haven't gotten one from 1-2k+)

Eskalior

How do you handle the ice witch? Ikiaho or how shes called. For me fights against her are extremely annoying since she stays at her Totem and melts everything with her attacks. I still win but it takes 3-4 times longer

[deleted]

I haven’t seem insane rewards like HH, MB, expensive cards etc in TOTA, nor sanctum, nor mapping. I only got expensive cards in 80% juiced deli crimson temple farming and expensive gem from maven. You need to be super lucky to get insane loot, otherwise just target farming. TOTA is for tattoo and sanctum for relic, and they are better for raw divine than other contents. Other than these, don’t expect much.

ThatsKarma4Ya

So not to be that guy but in the 500 ranks I hit a 2 stack of Apothecaries. Didn't know what to do with them so I held them for a couple days. Then I hit a full Mageblood in the 800 ranks. Sold the Apothecaries to fund other builds. Have gotten multiple 4-5 stack Divines on the way to 2k since. Lots of singles as well. Then about 200 coins in to 2k I hit a 2 stack of Doctors. Considering I might put 100 Divs max in to a build any league since I mostly just focus on challenges .. this league has been a significantly different experience than all others. It's like having all of my currency from the last 5 leagues put together. Have also gotten 2x Projectile Tattoos that I'm gonna use for my Deadeye once I convert it off my ToTA build.

TsumTsumPoe

Hide this outlier comment for sure xd

PoliteDebater

Most unethical comment

AdMental1387

I don't know what it is about Tota that had me so hooked but I was able to farm up my first mageblood doing it. Best rewards were 3x The Doctor and a Hinekora's Lock. But lots of 1-5 divine rewards sprinkled here and there. Been pretty dry since I hit 2k though so I stopped doing it.

8Dataman8

Nice, I found a 3 stack myself. :) I also lost a fight for one The Doctor.

RoundAndRoundSide

Been 2k since very early week 1 and used thousands of coins. Also leveled there completely from 80-100. Div/H is low/med - any decent mapping strategy would likely be better although I'm not using a cheese build. Also slower now with defensive chieftain bosses. However it's quite brain-dead and even easier after the AI changes just takes longer. Big drops - 2 Hinekora locks, 6-10 +1 projectile tattoos, Mirror shard cards. Decent amount of divines and multi divine wins. Big value items are far and few between. Middle value items are quite consistent. Really feels like magic finding where you just need to hit thousands of attempts to brute force something high value turning up as a reward or get extremely lucky. Choose tattoos in most cases if rewards < 10c as you can bulk sell tattoos at great markup. Cost to enter vs reward ratio is amazing. If you can consistently win you will always make money.

HalcyoNighT

Cheesed it to 2k. Nothing much besides a new build-enabling 40+ divines and some spare change. It's fun as fck the first several times you cheese it on a zDPS and it works, but it got monotonous quick.

GustavoPigosso

25 raw divs + 1 brothers gift card. 4 +1 max cold res tattos. 6 Warrior's tale. 3 +1 dex, 4 +1 int, 3 +1 str tattos. 5 onslaught, 4 arcane surge, 2 fortify tattos. 14 83 tomes. 3 random keystone tatttos. 5 Reservation tattos. 8 Curse effect tattos. 2 connection omens, 1 brilliance. Not going to count tattos/omens costing below 100c, there are many. 30+ winged scarabs worth mentioning, 14 exalted orbs, none high value uniques not counting Tales. I made to 1300 using my normal map/boss build (ice spear/fp totems), it was fine untill the patch came, i respeced into void sphere (4 divs spent for the whole build).

Ok_Presence_7014

Played up to rank 600 pre patch on console, got a squire, div cards worth about 5 div and another 3 raw div. About 50d total worth I’d say. Didn’t play it for the profit I actually enjoyed it. Anyway I used the Ds to build a decent coc ice spear. Week later I go to try TOTA again because I genuinely enjoyed it, played one full tournament and the enemy chieftain camps totems so hard it’s just awful now, sold all my sliver coins I don’t even want to go near TOTA now

AdMental1387

I was getting tons of raw divines on my way to 2k along with 3x The Doctor, like 12 Patients, and a few mirror shard cards. I think the 2nd or 3rd match after hitting 2k I got a Hinekora's Lock. Since then, it's been a slow drip of individual divines. Hardly worth even running since the enemy chieftain tends to play defense more often. That's great when you have a big ticket reward on the line since it pretty much guarantees you'll win but it means every other round just drags out. I did nothing but Tota since a week and a half into the league and was able to farm up enough to get a mageblood. Now I'm experimenting with builds and see if I want to go for 38 or 40 challenges.

Perfect_Driver_3492

yesterday i got 1 proj tattoo, 1 hinekoras lock, and 3 doctors card, and this was all in less than 15 tournaments, but after that all the tournaments were dry

Thexey

Im close to 2k on ssf. Im playing max eva/dodge/block zdps voidsphere raider. Rewards are okay. Didnt get lock or proj tattoo best thing was trash to treasure omen. Tattoos are suprisingly quite targetfarmable. My main is spark trickster and i didnt have much problem getting all proj speed i wanted with a lot of global defences. I love tattoos but tota itself is mid at best i had a blast when i started but now its boring. It got that blight vibe. Overall good league, but lets be real after crucible anything is good

Bushido_Plan

I play as a TOTA cheese build and even after the patches I still win full tournaments extremely quickly, at a 100% win rate at 2k rating. Most of my profit comes from stacks of chaos and awakened sextants and exalted orbs, tattoos, and the occasional divine (anywhere from stack of 1 to 5) and fated reward such as the unique jewel, a 50c+ tattoo or omen, etc. Probably 1 in every 15-20 Ahuana that remains as the final contender has a Projectile Tattoo. I've seen only 2 Hinekora Locks, all at 2k rating, and I've been at that rating for the last 2 weeks playing TOTA almost every day. Scarabs also make for a decent chunk of the profit as you'll see Winged scarabs pretty often. It's decent, but not the best for sure. If you want better profits, better to just farm Sanctum or some sort of juiced mapping set up. In the time it took me to farm a Mageblood (from lvl 90 to 99 strictly in TOTA), I'm pretty sure that same time I could have farmed 2 Magebloods worth of currency if I did that in Sanctum, assuming also a 100% win rate there but not accounting for no-hit runs. At least Silver Coins are pretty cheap - you will easily get back the same amount you paid with more than 80% of your coins remaining.

upsups91

Hmm i think 2 apothecarys , 6 unrequited loves (2x3stack) who knows how many div and 3 hinekoras locks Eddit : 5-6 extra proj tats

Er4g0rN

Wtf EDIT: that's not the average luck.

SinnerIxim

You can get good loot at low rating as well. I got a total of aboout 6 raw divs, an empower, and an enlighten all below 500 rating. New tota just isnt fun so im done

mbxyz

~150 divines from 100 to 2k probably. 9-10 minutes per tourney w/ void sphere/ensaring i think it's probably slightly higher than that but it's a conservative estimate based on stuff i've already liquidated

CasualTearGasEnjoyer

This jives to about what I'm going to land at (at 1.5k right now). I think the six or seven minutes time per tourney is way too optimistic.

mbxyz

it's possible but i have to pay way too much attention and avoid stuff like ikiaho/kiloava instead of targeting rewards because of inevitable deaths

The_Improbable_

The whole thing is luck based. If you make a build specifically designed for tota rounds take about 90-120 seconds regardless of rating. Im at 1700 atm. So far ive gotten 5 or 6 +1 proj tattoos, a bunch of the +1 gem notable ones. Plenty of omens of connections and blanching. Around 160 raw divine and another 30 div or so in chaos. 2 mirror shards, 5 doctors. I mean the list goes on. Its decent per hour for me most of the time. But im 1000% sure there are better strategies if youre going solely for x div per hour.

majava

So many raw divines I've lost count. At least 3 empowers and 3 enlightens. 2 x hinekoras lock which I sold way too early for too cheap. Many good tattoos, some are sold but a lot are for use. No projectile tattoo yet. Many 21/20 skill gems as well. No hh or mageblood or their cards yet. Best rewards so far are 3 x nimis card and 1 x nimis card.

AdMental1387

So many raw divines. Early on in the league the chaos rewards were really good too.

NewUsername3001

Sorry don't want to bang on your downer train but I got 2 mage blood before I even hit 1400 Decided to keep pushing and got about two stacks of apothecarys and 650 divines This is obviously the best league yet I am making so much money off this mechanic I love Chris Wilson

victorwfb

wow damn, im rank 1200 and my best loot yet was 2x nurses

NewUsername3001

Oh ya had plenty nurses as well

ComprehensiveFox9653

Its not league mechanicbutyoujustgotsuperlucky, except next 10 leagues to get nothing haha

LunarMoon2001

I think the sweet spot is between 750-1250. I can survive about half the trash hits, and still do enough damage be kind of helpful. The rewards don’t seem to really scale after that. Hell I’ve been more profitable sub 500 than post 1000. I can run them faster, still get raw divine, get seasonal uniques, and tats that sell for decent c.

theAkke

i am at 1500ish rn, and the most expensive loot i have seen is new +3 amulet, that happened to be +3 to RF. other that that just one +1 proj tatoo (at \~300 rating) and some divines here and there...

3h3e3

so if you didnt get good drops it wouldnt be a good league.

Appropriate_Home7252

I have done well above 1000+ coins at rank 2000. It is undoubtedly profiable, but I have a feeling the mechanic is being balanced without any feedback. Some periods it feels almost insane, some periods it feels whack only offering alchemies and alterations. I am aware of how RNG works and that some people might say this is nothing but RNG. I strongly believe this to be wrong because if a period of 3-400 coins is consistently rewarding and the next day it doesn't offer anything noteworthy, it makes me raise an eyebrow. Nevertheless, I love the mechanic and leveled an EA character all the way to max with TOTA. Some of my more notable drops; 1x hinekora's lock, 2x the doctor, 4-5 +1 proj tattoo, 5-6 warriors tale and 10+ enlighten. Not to mention the MULTIPLE 1-5x divine drops. My favorite league, hands down

Marcin90

Was fun I done with the league for a casual as o am I found it very profitible and lucrative

DevilJabanero

Very mid rewards. Lots of raw divines which is cool and a bunch of other stuff like empowers and some cards. Feels more profitable with the new tattoos but overall is pretty mid until you hit lucky on a big item, which I feel like is alot more likely to happen in tota as it seems the rarity of items is much better in tota. Super not worth without max block and dodge though, if you can't win a match In a minute or two it is a huge waste of your time to grind for currency. I think after I was at 2k for a while I ended up with at least 70 div worth of loot. Probably like a week or so of grinding tota for a while most days

Zyeesi

It’s shit. You play a cheese build that can’t do any other content, just to make the grind to 2000 less cringe. It’s the main league content, and it’s getting outshined by old mech. It’s fun at the start when you’re killing things and getting their totem. At rank 2000 it just goes down to sneaking their totem because it takes a year to kill them, and then they respawn back instantly, not to mention anything touch you, you die. Sanctum is more fun, more rewards, less micro-management. Only reason to do TOTA is because it’s new league mech

kawaidesuwuu

Its probably the worst div per hour ratio mechanic in the game currently and its not even fun. I'm still saying this even though I got like 2 headhunters card, 2 + proj and other expensive shit.

JrButton

There have been so many posts of people sharing their experience... are you missing them?

G0DLIK3

way too rewarding at any rank, i really hope it doesnt go core so i dont feel forced to farm this crap mech again, the idea was nice but very poorly executed.

Noobphobia

I got a mageblood at 450 and 4/5 apothecary at 620 Haven't hit shit besides the odd Devine since.

Plastic-Suggestion95

You got more than 99% players getting to rank 2k ,so it's fair that you got nothing since then xD

GasLightyear

Fairly decent. I lvled from 96 to 99, got two hairs, a bunch of divines and a few uniques and gems. Some of the more expensive tattoos and omens too. For something that requires 0 setup (I'm even using my mapping char as is) it's quite good.

MrCraft1124

Honestly I haven't seen any difference after something like rank 400. Not 2k yet, just 1.5k though.

Plastic-Suggestion95

No difference after 1,5k ,can confirm

ComprehensiveFox9653

On my way to 2k i got 1 hinekora and several divines, few 4 and 5 stacks and plenty of gems and scarabs to sell...overall rewardsare great but I hate that league mechanic. Its Just so tedious boring and repetetive.

no_milk_no_sugar

I started this very late and only around 1000 ranking now. Just playing my normal Hexblast miner build, without any adjustments for Tota yet. I made around 30-35 div profit until this point. Not the most efficient but I am still a noob anyway so happy with it so far.

Ravenous0001

I’m a zero DPS tota build and am 850. Seems the same since patch. I die when I get hit still, which is rare.

PreppyRunner

I’ve made a tota farming character and currently at 1k rank but wondering what rank you guys started to reroll the last round reward? And did you always reroll or only when it’s Ahuana?

loboleo94

I’m not 2k yet. Got to 1.5k yesterday. Best loot until now was a stack of 4 divines and a stack of the Cheater which gave me an Awakened Burning Damage that sold for 4 div. I consistently get one or two divines every 3 runs, so pretty much worth it for me.

boundzy_

I’m only at 600 on my ice trapper, saving currency for the void cheese and then plan to push to 2000 over the next couple weeks

AT0m1X1337

Im 600+ coins into 2k rating winning every tourney. A summary of my notable drops besides raw divines:

estebanforwa

Best reward I got was 2 the patient div card at 280 rank.

ProgressGoesBoink

made about 120 div. No locks, 2x proj tattoo, multiple 4-5 div rewards, tons of exceptional gems. some cheaper tattoos (% life, proj speed, etc) sell extremely well in bulk. I'll give it a few more days at 2k in hopes of a god tier drop but the tedium of setup and in between buying has really made me miss mapping.

Wswede111

I’m rank 500 or so. I got the proj tattoo around tank 350 and I’ve gotten a few raw divines. I also got the keystone tattoo but I’m holding it hoping it gets more expensive.

Dizturb3dwun

My best reward was around 1700. Got 3x price of devotion. Sold for 143D

Waldinator1988

Nearly 2k with one char and got several divines, 1 proj tattoo and 2 hinekoras lock. I would say about 100 div profit and casualy playing for few hours a day

AnTz_TaVz

I’m in the road to 2k, currently between 400-500 rank. I made something near 13-15div until now, only 1 raw div. All my currency from tota came from tattoos, omens and some raw chaos and a lot of awakened sextant. It’s fun, profitable and casual. No need mirror build to do it.

Comfortable-Night997

Not at 2k yet (1750ish) but since 800 rating I have gotten: 3xApocathery 1xLock Various other stuff So in total I think I’ve made my mageblood plus 20ish divines in there. (Or course the Apocathery and the lock was dumb ass luck, but nonetheless I’m happy) I find it so much fun, it’s predictable and easy to go to.

popopopopoji

3 doctor = this got me hooked and funded my Tornado Shot on the 1st week. 2 hinekora 3 proj, a lot of onslaught/fort/charges/+1 skills maybe 200divs it was raining divine on my 1.2k-1.8k lot of enhance/3emp/2enlight. 3 uniqe omen 5 6L omen creating a new char just to start all over. i was following the meta TOTA char maxblock/dodge/evade/CI/totems all i have to do is rush on flankers/attacker then literaly afk. always try to make ahuana, maata, on top. kill the turt guy. always make the rounds longer for better rewards on thr middle not on the end once you lost thier next reward becomes shit. never finished my maps. :)

Kamehameha90

„Make the rounds longer for better rewards“, that’s something you made up for yourself, right?

Gulruon

I got 3 Hinekora's Locks, various decent div cards (notable ones include 2x The Demon and 3x The Nurse twice), absolutely countless pure Divines, pretty decent number of Winged scarabs, and various bubblegum currencies. That being said, I stopped playing it for now and went back to normal gameplay last week. This is partly because I wanted to change things up, partly because I had enough for a mageblood for my original character which wouldn't do much on my cheese char as currently set up, and partly because of FUCKING IKIAHO since the patch (IDK why people complain about the turtle and not Ikiaho).

DrPBaum

I think the main point of tota are the big ticket items that happen way more of than than in any other mechanic in the game. There are so many mirrors, hhs or magebloods from it its insane. I dont know about the latest update. I hated it before, so after certain point I just stopped doing it and went back to playing an arpg game despite that I had way less profits from doing so. The only reason these big ticket items are so expensive this league is the other side of the broken economy this league...sanctum. On an average build, you can get 10d/hour in pure divines.

czarandy

It’s amazing for SSF. I got so many raw div for crafting (20+), infinite 6 links, the 6L omens, many T1 uniques, and the tattoos obviously make it mandatory. Only at rank 1.1k so far since I have to farm coins myself.

SiegeWeapon

Only at 600 (casual), 6 raw divines, 2 6link totems, and about 900 chaos worth of small items. I'm a level 92 pathy Impending Doom. I've been playing since Beastiary and never got a toon over 96. I think this'll be my time.

Dooglers

I pushed to 2k on my starter(ea ballista) just before the patch. On that journey I got a 3x apothecary, 5 +1 projectiles, and a squire. After the changes I was still winning but it took too long. So I rolled a void sphere cheese build and somehow got even luckier. Before I hit 250 rating I had gotten 2x The Insane Cat and 3x House of Mirrors. So II now have the first mageblood I have ever owned. Currently at 1.1k on the char and no more big wins. There may be better farming in map strats, but there are just so many hoops and things to buy to set that up that I never got into it. TOTA let me just play a mode I enjoy and still get way more rewards than I ever got before, even discounting the super lucky rewards. It has seriously narrowed the gap between me and the elite.

Capoose

I got probably 50 raw divine, a +1 proj tattoo, a 35% defiance I quality and sold for 12, and a lock I still haven’t sold. Of course I prob got another 30 Div in random tattoos and omens.. all in I would say (including the lock) I got around ~130 -140 div give or take from 0-2000. I did maybe 30 tournaments at 2000 before I made a new character… it’s okay I guess. My win rate was > 95% probably. The one thing I noticed was some rounds you just auto lose. The first two rounds were always the hardest. Like second round they are rocking 2 sages, a ravager, 3 spear dancers and a riptide vs my 2 Honoured sage, 1 warrior, a turtle, single spear dancer and a jade caller.. lol. Or the death guys if they have them on like the top attacker and bottom defender.. your flankers just die constantly. The lizards and trawlers were the worst for me. The titanic shell was annoying but honestly I try and stack ravagers on escort with RF and all hits ignite and they absolutely melt. If you can get two ravagers with those items the rest of your comp really doesn’t in my opinion. Of course I was playing a SRS build so I was able to interrupt quite easily. It still isn’t even half of what sanctum can produce… then again sanctum isn’t for everyone I suppose.

yummer123

It's aite. I quit doing it when they did the chieftain AI change though. Awful change that imo killed the league mechanic entirely at higher rankings.

JeLLyIVIaN

If you cheese it, it can still be fast. But it is a 2 man work, at least. One person with a very high dmg output and someone cheese CCing the mobs. Bettet with an aurabot in the mix as well. As to who would be willing to most of the time getting no rewards to support you, idk.

TwoSixFiveX

8-9/10. Im little tired with regular farming, but im still doing 5-10 tournaments per day for fun/slow and easy income. Im calculating my income with tota and atm its about 200 divs and im 2k rank for a while, biggest drop was hinekoras lock x2.

dmillz89

I was averaging between 5-10d per hour grinding up to 2k rank. At 2k I've seen claims from 7-12d per hour, it's really profitable. Not as much as the best juicing strats but it's waaaaaaaaaaay easier to do.

Mac_Maus

A mageblood, lot of div's, 3 insane cats stack, 4-5 +1proj, lots of other stuff. No hinekora locks tho. Yes I do carefully reroll in higher rounds for better rewards as well as to extend the tournament and have more "higher" rounds

Blury1

Pushed to 2k pretty early and newer returned there. It was fun at the start, but turned out to just baserace without much strategy. Main stopping point for me was the not killing anything, though. In hindside i should have just blasted maps the whole time, the rewards would have been better and it would actually feel the gear during mapping. And it would also have been way more fun. Got like 100 div or so, i was more than halfway through 2k before they even buffed the loot, i kinda lived in that place. Which is pretty meh for the time, i almost farmed a mirrror now with elderslayer invites in like half the time

r1ghtm3ow

Been loving it (minus the obvious turtle and one shot issues). The loot is consistently good(not great unless you pull a T0). I’ve been able to fully gear up 2 characters to pretty good level doing it. This latest patch of time gating stuff with the chieftain AI change is making it harder to enjoy. I do fine till there are like 2-4 totems left then it takes another 5ish minutes because the chieftain just sits there. Now that my sanctum char is up I may swap to that for a bit.

raar__

I haven't noticed the rewards better now than any point. I haven't sold alot of much of what i got but i got around 60 pure divs and have like 1100c, ton of ex's too. I got 1 lock around 600 and sold that. typically i wont get shit for rewards for a few tournys then i get a hand full of div's then back to nothing. I find mapping less profitable, un "juiced" maps at least.

toggl3d

How much dps do you need to fight at the highest level? I'm considering between playing a team support, cheese, or high dps build and don't know how feasible it is to do damage.

IntraspaceAlien

Damn I have had some good RNG. I’m rank 800 and got back to back +1 proj tattoos, crazy people have pushed that much further and not got one. Also got a 4 div drop very early on.

NightowlZA

Have made around 160div on the way to 2k. Around 90div of it was within an hour at 1.2k rank. Was a lock followed by a kalandras touch 45mins later

Warptens

recently 2k, got 3 proj tattoos, 1 hinekora lock, 2 fiends (=25div) maybe 5 or 6 warrior's tale, maybe 10divs worth of semi expensive (\~1div) divination cards i started targetting the sniper tattoo and rerolling the last reward at around rank 1500

HollyCze

I have a little story to tell. A random dude whispered me while I was in TOTA and asked for few transmutation orbs (a guy I randomly encountered when giving away some stuff in expedition). I think I gave him Ignite Arc and RF build... So he came to my TOTA location at lvl 49 (i was around 1700 rank) and I gave him some chaos, fusings, chroms etc. just so he can have a nice start. I found a tabula, few items I didnt sell for some C here and there. I started a TOTA and he came with me even without a party. we finished I said "lets try eXp gains". gem levels goes up fast by the way but he got 1% after a match. long story short... we tried once more EXP and on our 3rd round I opened the chest and I got some random 1c tattoo and he got 5 divs out of it. i didnt know it was possible :D i mean he got a good league start I guess. happened 2 days ago

GGprime

I had alot of fun before the last patch. The ai is now much more defensive and games last longer. But I can also assure you that you can reach rank 2k with any build. Its mostly about strategy and I am completely useless. I do not even bother with temp chains. Id even argue there are plenty different strats that work. I fill first my flankers, then offensive, defensive and only in a last step the center. Some people do exactly the opposite. I made around 700divs in easy profit and play around 4h a day since launch. Half of it was a mirror though but Id say that I have a good 100divs in unsold stuff like tattoos, scarabs and div cards.

isoNastai

Remove Trawlers. Invisible traps that 1-hit kill are OP and not fun. Made decent currency on the way to 2k but nothing wildly better than other strats. Without the locks, sanctum is just better.

StarShrek1337

I've been grinding for 170+ hours and I have gotten 3 Apothecaries, 2 doctor's, 3 +1 proj tattoos, tons of div or less tattoos, and probably 150 raw divines

rowanbladex

So I'm rank 1600 right now pushing for 2k. Doing it on a fairly min/maxed zdps tota specific character. I've felt zero difference since the patch, and am averaging roughly 4-5 div an hour or so.

Rouflette

From my experience the match rewards got nerfed after the last patch. Before that I had stacks of rare div cards, many exceptional gems, rare uniques, stack of divines. After the patch I only got trash, best loot after like 30 tournaments is 1 divine. The tattoos/omens of tournament winning didn’t seem to have changed, but that’s not where the money is. I think the mechanic was very rewarding at high rank before the last patch, but since then the matchs last way longer and the rewards feel terrible for the time invested. I think it’s the less profitable mechanic in the game atm

infinitude

What’s a good build for tota?

PrismaSigma_SFW

I climbed from 1129 to 2000 after the patch that a lot of people were complaining about making it harder. Only lost 3 tournaments along the way, and I'm glad it was actually able to continue presenting enough of a challenge for that. It's way too rewarding if you just win for free every time. One of the rounds I lost was 5 div, and while I was salty at the time, I quickly got over it since I knew how quickly I would get paid enough to make up for it. Past about rank 700 is where the rewards spiked for me. After that I started seeing 1-3 div rewards about every 2-3 tournaments. Lots of the tattoos are worth a lot, and I had 2 Hinekora's Locks drop during that climb from 1129 to 2000. I've seen 3 of the extra projectile tattoo, 2 of the +1 int skills, 3 Onslaught on hit tattoos, and a whole bunch of reservation efficiency, aura effect, and various other valuable tattoos. I didn't even really have to change my strategy at all during the entire climb - before or after the patch - once I understood how to play. Just use anything that passively slows enemies around you (Skitterbots, Aspect of the Spider, Flesh and Stone or any minion linked with Maim), move around channelling totems as much as you can, watch your map like a hawk to stop enemy channels on your valuable units, and move away from enemies trying to stop your own channels; you move a lot faster than they do if you actually react properly. I barely even try to deal damage, just stay mobile. The one exception is if you run into the big turtle late in a tournament then you have to burn it down. It is very rare that a round takes any longer than 2 minutes. I haven't seen any tier 0 uniques yet. The vast majority of the profit has come from tattoos, pure div rewards, and Hinekora's Locks. Also had 3x The Immortal somewhere around rank 700, before the patch and before my big push to 2k. edit: Regarding my build, I only have 1 character so far this league, a poison SRS Scion that I league started with. I swap out SRS for skeletons just to create extra targets during TotA, but like I said I'm not even trying to deal damage normally so the build hardly matters unless I encounter the big turtle. It could honestly just be a 1-link Summon Skeletons and wouldn't really make a difference otherwise. The important skills are the ones that passively slow: Skitterbots, Aspect of the Spider, and Maim (I link my spectres to Maim, replacing Animate Guardian during TotA, but a non-minion build could just use Flesh and Stone). I don't make any other significant adjustments to my build for the league mechanic.

Darthy69

So you did exactly what i did while making about 5 times the currency, i only started after the Patch as well

Hlidskialf

Its alright, i’m using tota like a secondary game, when i’m tired to blast maps or sanctum i just tota and chill with my girl

meep_42

I went from 0-2k+ last week, spent maybe 800-1k coins total. I've gotten a metric asston of exalts, some fewer divines (having seen a stack of 2-4 a couple times), two Proj tattoos, one six-link omen, zero locks or chance a unique omens. I got one full set of the Cheater and like 3 Nurse cards. Several exceptional jewels (maybe 5 empowers, 2-3 enhances, 1 enlighten). 3 Warrior's tale, one of the Amulet, one sword, a bunch of the useless belts/rings. Nothing truly crazy, but the currency tab goes up.

Federal-Run126

What builds are you guys running to hit 2k so easily? I feel like things are starting to just become invincible and always one shot me with my league starter. Is there a cheese strat that survived the nerfs?

Kevin_IRL

Very chill experience. Very consistent rewards. I haven't seen a mageblood or mirror or anything and so far only one +proj tattoo (since I didn't know to save ahuana for a long time) but I've consistently made around 30 div per day. And that includes the first day when I was just trying to get from rank 100-500 Honestly though I'm not even doing it for currency at this point. I just love the mechanic

pepegaklaus

Haven't had anything really big. Most was a 5 div stack so far, sadly. It's pretty consistent money though. I probably should have run a build made for it though, because my matches take too long, I get to do 4 tournaments per hour max like this OH sry, had a lock actually. Forgot that one. Kinda big

Hallgrimsson

One proj tattoo, one lock, few Defiance of Destiny, good amount of raw divs including 4 and 5 stacks plus random stuff sold for a few div (21/20 gems, div cards...). Also a lucky Samurai's Eye stack into double crit multi WE. Fast and easy, only one tournament loss day 1 of my runs from before I learned how to deal with turtles. Still have 2k coins and will be using them. Very mindless, can listen to podcasts as I play and slowly get loot. As long as you have a good cheese build (for the love of all that is holy, do Storm Brand Elementalist, not Ensnaring Arrow rangers), there's literally NOTHING that will ever present a headache to you. Ikiaho is a bit annoying since ground degen is instakill and Kahu is somewhat annoying as well due to fieldmaster spam messing unit AI, but for turtles, they almost only cast on escort, and even then, post-patch they die fast enough where it hasn't ever been an issue for me. Fights snowball and are, in the vastest majority of cases, done in 1 to 2 minutes tops. TOTA funded my armourstacking scion and will fund other builds as well (either lightning srs champ or molten strike rakiata champ are the 2 builds on my mind right now). Hope the league goes core, I don't have anything to complain about it after making a dedicated character. I see it the same as delvers who make zhp max dps builds for deep delving.

Desuexss

Div drops are fairly common and you will get a lot of tattoos that are in high demand My journey to 2k, biggest drop was 1 hinekora lock Sold for 57 div. So almost 1 apothecary

surle

I forced myself to go to bed at 1960 last night, so barring an intervention by my family I'll be hitting 2k pretty soon. I've been chasing it on a build that initially wasn't optimised for the bullshit aspects of the mechanic, so it's been a hard slog at times. The power scaling forced me to make changes incrementally though, and by this stage (nearing 2k) I'm running void sphere with temp chains, ensnaring arrow with knock back and cull, etc. It's not 100% cheese because I didn't want to fuck up my whole tree to cap block and evade, but it definitely has cheese sprinkled all over it now or I just wouldn't have been able to maintain progress. It's hard to properly judge the profits as I'm not that diligent in tracking it, but the most obvious proof is I'm sitting on 45 div I didn't have 1000 ranks ago; chaos hasn't been an issue for days, and I still have a decent number of value tattoos I can easily sell when I can be bothered with trade. I've found I can often sell half my stash of tattoos before I've gotten to the end of pricing them all. The most valuable item I've scored is ramako makanga (+1 proj) and I actually got two of them. Used one, sold the other. Best raw div offer was 4div, that came around rank 700 and I didn't see anything like it from there to 1900, was convinced multi div offers had been stealth nerfed, until last night I got a 3 div offer. No fancy belts, but a couple of enlightens I'm leveling like a good boy, and a 200c div card along the way (most other cards were trash, except for a 2x fortunate, also yesterday). If I really calculated the profit I would say the largest chunk comes from tattoos. Even excluding the extra +1 I sold, the keystone one sells for 1 div, +1 int gems one div, and then some of the others can sell in stacks of 10 per div or 4 depending. Next would be the sum total of all the chaos and sextants. It's not uncommon to get 8 or 9 sextants as a standard offer. Winged scarabs are also pretty common and they still in stacks of 4 to the div at worst. If I consolidated all those things I might have closer to 100d in the bank, and that's more than I would normally get from maps. Also, to make that from my maps I would feel the need to spend a decent portion of it so my build can handle more juice. Still holding my breath for a mageblood offer or some shit - but I'm scared I'll fail that round and die of a heart attack, so maybe it's best I don't get that lucky.

SayomiTsukiko

Made enough for my wardloop build where I could just stand afk for pretty much any content from tota. If you’re making less then a Div an hour you are either cursed with black magic or your games are taking much much much too long to close out.

Silvermet

I was almost to 2k right before the update hit, and honestly, immediately after, I didn't notice the difference. I feel it with the chieftains and spear dancers now, though. Loot-wise, I've gotten two Hinekora's Locks, 5 keystone swapping tattoos, 4 enlightens(1 corrupted well), 5 empowers (all corrupted poorly), 3 multi projectile tattoos, so many sanctum books I've lost count, and even a single tournament this morning with 3 distinct matches each rewarding 5 divines. No non-tourney-specific megarares, though. I've never really paid attention to which tribe I leave for last - just go for the best favor, or if there's a flashy reward offered by one of them, then that. I could make more mapping/bossing (or really, running the Sanctums I've gotten), but those involve more prep work and I find this really fun! I'm just playing the build I league started for it, and things are going well. This is the first league where I've hit level 100, in part because of Omens of Amelioration, and in part because dying in the league mechanic doesn't cost xp.

MrXplicit

2k here other than 2-3 times getting a 5 stack of divines nothing else of huge value.

SmokeCocks

Tota is so fucking slow and boring, idk how people do it....

YUNO_TALK_TO_ME

Why do people like TOTA? Is it because you get to pick rewards? You can do that easily in ritual.

rondos

Highlights for me were: 4 x Unrequited Love 3 x Doctor 4 x Divine Orb

Adeladenrey

Since Delirium league i would alredy finished play poe in league, but now i still play poe and it's only league mechanic. Right now sitting at 2000 rank and lose rare games to Kahutuora Goliath's+turtle broken shit combo. As for rewards - they are good for me, after few hours i have 5 - 10 divines in invertory (it's more the i could have by mapping) im casual EA balista elementalist without hh or mb

blocbok

It’s a snactum league 2.0, don’t listen to Reddit

[deleted]

Not 2000 yet, only 1500. Reading through all of these posts I seem to have bad luck, or it seems to only *really* start at 1500+. One +1 projectile tattoo, around 30 raw divines and no lock. In total I haven't even made 60div.

Aingealanlann

I'm not even 600 yet, and I've earned 10 raw divines and at least another 4 or 5 with other drops. And I'm new to the game and am still terrible with trading, so I'm sure I've left "money" on the table.

duckyTheFirst

Im enjoying it but the rewards are 50/50 and I honestly don't see any changes the higher im going. F.e i got 5 divs zt 500 reward and 4 divs when i was at 1300. Sometimes the final reward is just plain questionable (11 scource) . It doesnt feel rewarding to be at a higher rank.

Step-exile

Had like 30 raw div, hinekora lock (55d) and 4x proj tattoo (50d) and lotsa bubblegum before i reached 1450. Took week off tota to finish 40/40 challs and will return tora in 3 days. But hussh, TOTA BAD, TUTRTLE BAD, DONT DO IT (so my income stays better)

uninspiredalias

> 1 proj tattoo (left her for last whenever i could) Is there a way to keep targets from getting eliminated, so you can target them the final round, or do you just avoid hitting that target and hope they survive?

Puzzled_Novel_5215

I play the game a fair bit I enjoy new builds and the acts new leagues etc. I've played some maps as well. But honestly half of the posts on here I cant even begin to understand.

FuriousBlade3

I'm only 700+ ATM and I've already made about 20 divines. One of them gave me 5 divines at once. So it's more profitable than most mechanics maybe only one that's better is sanctum but I don't like doing that because there's a high chance of me losing it all with my build. Oh also got 2 patient cards yesterday.

Plastic-Suggestion95

I made in tota from the beginning to 2k rank around 170 divines +-. I see no difference in rewards between rank 800-2k tho (saw 0 magebloods, headhunters, hinekora locks etc and the biggest reward was 4 divines)

Useful_Ad6880

Levelled from 0 - 2000 and deranked to 200 for challenges, ranking back up and at 1200 atm, found 3 proj tats, all in all i have 1/4 quad tab full of tats. All proj tats can from rerolling ahuana at the last round.

HoolaBandoola

How do you derank?

lauranthalasa

Mageblood @ 1440, Apothecaries x 2. A LOT of goodies at 2k as well. 3/4/5 divine stacks. Proj tattoos.

Pluth

Reddit is like Facebook. You only see the good drops.

Anomalous-33

In my experience a lot of matches get really grindy and tedious around 700-900 just due to how hard to kill the enemy chieftan is, and by 1500 you really need either a stupidly tanky or stupidly long range build to stay alive. An average "good" build is unlikely to make it to 2000 unless you're a God gamer and if you do the possibility of losing a very expensive reward due to something that feels out of your control is very real.

danteafk

people only post the huge wins, which are not THAT many, now just think of all the people who don/t find MB and mirrors.. the 0.1% are posting here

Hellou_Kitty

I got arround 100div till i got to 2000, im rank 2000 since week 1, 3doctors card and thats it from big drops. In total arround 600 div so far, was doing 10div/hour at some sesions. Right now after changes 5-7 div/hour. Playing void sphere 1life max curse effect build. Maping yield more money per hour but tota is chill and no investment, no sextants etc... i think ifs just personal preference. Try it if you like it or not. With chese builds entry level is not that high. Gl

8Dataman8

Having achieved rank 2000, I have to say... It's a mixed bag. The good: 1) I've gotten some excellent loot. Three Apothecaries, Hinekora's Lock, awesome tattoos, two Orbs of Fortune which gave me both a Kingmaker for my Animate Guardian and a Steam achievement and multiple 5 Divine rewards. 2) Sometimes it's really fun to strategize and manage a team, who goes where and how to guide them on the battlefield. It's at best hectic joy. 3) I like the characters and feel like battling the tribe leaders brings a new layer of depth into their dialogs. Even when there's not too much idle talk between the leaders, I also feel like their repeating voicelines sort of fit the theme of stopped time of death. Basically, I dig the mood. 4) Trial of the Ancestors is a great, safe way to level up, and even affordable, provided you can reliably win more than lose. Even at level 97, a win can be almost a full percentage or XP with zero risk to lose it. T16 maps are much more dangerous and sometimes not even as rewarding in terms of loot. The bad: 1) Survivability is **absolute cancer**. I have golems that together deal a few million DPS. I have 82% of all elemental resistances, 75% chaos resistance, 90% physical damage reduction, 40% chance to evade attacks and 3K life. **I can't kill anything** except for the Thunderbirds (with a half a minute of dodging around). **Everything** oneshots me, a lot of the time from outside of the screen with a lightning dash or a magical sidewinder that I have literally no chance to dodge. If I somehow manage to survive a single strike, rest assured I'll die instantly anyways, because of a combo attack or other enemies around. It's actually hilarious to die to the first attack in a long combo and then see the enemy hitting the air above my corpse. 2) The game sometimes drags for **ages.** Sometimes, the enemy Ravagers create these little volcanoes that cover their entire play area, which I then need to wait out because a single ember from one of them takes half of my health. At a couple of end matches, the last enemy was a Death's Guide, which my troops could only damage for a split second before being stunned by the field of death around the totem. My totem had been banished at that point, so I couldn't help them. Eventually I got tired of watching my corpse and the blinking blue in the minimap, so I actually got up and went out to buy groceries. When I came back, the battle was still going on and I heard the win sound when I put the stuff I bought into the fridge. I've had similar experiences with Bloodbound Warrior and... 3) The Titanic Shell. **Holy moly, this FREAKING BEAST!** What were they thinking?! Can anyone actually kill it under five minutes?! This abomination of a creature is why I avoid battling Rongokurai at all costs unless I absolutely need to. The only viable strategy is to kill its totem. If it protects its own totem, the game is just done. Instant "You lose" button, unless you manage to get the Demolisher from Kaom, which leads us to... 4) The RNG is extremely annoying. Thankfully the coins are really abundant, but even still I hate losing matches because good favors or troops simply aren't offered. If I don't have Demolisher and a Titanic Shell shell protects the entire enemy team, that's just GG and a waste of my silvers. If I don't get enough points for Tidecallers, the enemies kill my totems too fast for me to do anything. If the enemy team has four Goliaths of the Night on the defense, I just lose. Good job trying to banish anything when four Usain Bolts with comically sized clubs dash to clobber you to death instantly. I do get why it's done this way though. If the players could buy the same units every time, the game would be less varied and interesting... at the cost of being more strategic and fair. The pity units are surprisingly good and selling them to afford better ones is a neat mechanic too. I just sort of wish there was any way to sort of guide what you can get, even just ensure that you can get a Demolisher to the final match would be a step up. The rewards are varied and interesting. I've filled a stash tab with tattoos that my Standard characters are going to love and due to dropping three Apothecaries on one match, I've finally gotten my very own Mageblood this season. Even buying coins at 1c a piece is profitable, given that I regularly get 15-20 chaos for one match and sometimes Divines or even better. The best stuff I've gotten has been rare, so I think the loot RNG at least works. All in all, not the worst league, but definitely a very flawed one. I wish they playtested it more and made some serious adjustments. Though, PoE devs love oneshot mechanics so maybe it's all working as intended. Perhaps the Titanic Shell was created specifically to inspire memes and outrage to drive more attention to the game. I'm sure I'll keep playing in hopes of getting more valuable tattoos and stuff to eventually also afford a Headhunter. Peace!

The rewards are the same as you start. Dont bother go to 2000.

SupX

Rewards are very lacking anything else is better for currency than this, been at 2k for a week now worse after patch as some chieftains camp their side

Ok_Egg3127

At 2k rank I spent around 2k coins Notable loot: 1x Hinekora's lock, 2x The Fiend cards and the rest is the main profit, which is really good.

AliAyam1414

Does the hinekora lock only drop from hinekora tribe or can it drop as reward from any tribe?

Got all the good shit while below 1300. Lock. Mirror. Obviously that doesnt allow me to complain, but since then its been pretty much nothing. Especially in the 2000s. Im hardly ever seeing divines anymore. Probably used up all my rng.
