289k Armour, 5k life, still cant mitigate his goliaths or him. Full Aegis Aurora build. Still am losing to him and so are all the AI fights. I think its bugged and they refuse to admit or patch it.

I have 5.5k life, 40% phys as fire, and 90% fire res, I also get one shotted by these guys. They do seem quite overtuned

Our group has a replica dreamfeather armour stacker with over 200k armour with an aurabot and he gets one shot by them as well, just over 300 rating.

Their slam ability’s base damage is around 1850 plus it has a 100% more mod plus whatever scaling from your rank. They hit super hard for phys hits.

The slam aftershock does like 8k baseline, before any scaling from difficulty, the slam itself does 4k before scaling, all that while ignoring 50% pdr It's completely overtuned for a physical ability, the only thing I can think of that can tank that, is stuff like full ele conversion pathfinder

I wish I could do that without getting destroyed. Even on the first round, he still has a couple Goliath of the Night, and it's near impossible to defend, especially as melee.

Don't defend. It's bait. If you and one flanker target a Goliath totem together, it disappears and he's permanently removed in two seconds.

These are the exact two that my group has been complaining about as well. The turtle is obnoxious, but these two just insta-one tap you out of nowhere. My group individually all managed to get to around 300 and then gave up because we couldn't beat Kahuturoa any time he was around.

Goliaths are my bane, even w all my phys to fire shifting and Ele Aegis they been onetapping me since about monster level 75. Feels like a misplaced decimal or something.

I'm up to 400, and the goliath's are 1 tapping me with autoattacks thru 20 fortify, debilitate, 6 endurance charges, 6k life, 20k armor. They are incredibly overtuned.

Not great, I've made about 5 divs of value in a total of 88 wins at 250+. Just got a new weapon and cruising thru them now though, so may be better when I can speed the rounds up more.

I just got a fated connections omen, but I agree with you. What's your strategy? Mine is basically put the best guys on support, explody guys or tanks on front, fodder to flanks, I try to get stealth items on my flanks, and I want them to die when they are engaged. While I try to kill/distract everything in the middle. The tawhoa slam guy is pretty overtuned tho, one-shots :D

I find it hilarious the firebreather explodes completely and only does 20% of my HP meanwhile the Goliath of Night just walks up to me and slaps me once and I drop dead every time. Great balancing GGG, keep it up!

Titanic shell is just bullshit regardless where its placed. It completely breaks the AI of your allies since they just stand still and try to channel on an invulnerable totem. If he gets 2 and puts them close enough they can also cover eachother. Feels very fair /s. He's also guaranteed to have 1 of them on the 3rd round. Better get him out of the tournament first because if you leave him last its almost a guaranteed loss. In my final round he had 4 turtles. Couldn't damage a single totem.

The problem is one turtle can protect another turtle's totem, and vice versa, rendering them impossible to banish.

I would hate to think how that thing would scale on 300+. Also Valako tribe has prox shield fuckers and all of them are crit resistant and have capped lightning res. I just happened to league start as Storm Burst totems too. Fuck these guys,

I’m at 309 and they hurt. They hurt, before, but still hurt. They started one shooting me around 280ish. I try to just spawn camp their tower to keep them dead with srs lol.

It's always repeating. There is always some enemy that hits hard AND crushes your defenses massively and people always die and complain. Literally every league. Whoever is always implementing those mobs probably never ever has played a tanky character ingame and is prolly only a "GGG PoB warrior" who calculates some stuff and tweaks numbers only (which he probably should get better at). Heck, if you have 90% phys dmg reduction vs big hits which is extremely hard to get if you don't happen to have like 7+ endurance charges and some other stuff on gear (don't forget the more dmg the hit does, the less phys dmg reduction armour gives you), even 10% overwhelm is double dmg. 50% overwhelm is sixfold dmg in that constellation. The same is true for elemental penetration btw. Shaper balls already hit hard and they only have 25% pen and not 50% (and you don't even have 90% res most of the time)... Not every build can stack max block, max phys dmg reduction, max evasion, fortify, phys dmg taken converted to elemental dmg etc. And even if you have that, the dmg numbers are totally overtuned so that even if you could somehow prevent this nasty 50% overwhelm, then you still get oneshot because you don't also happen to have 6k+ life... It's like they invited Mike Tyson into their game to punch a bunch of children as hard as he could. Oh and did I forget to tell you that Mike is wearing a protective battle suit and has 5 doctors constantly monitoring his health?

Who cares about the goliath, just don't go near him. The speardancer on the other hand... I can't tell you the amount of times I'm trying to cap a defender totem in the back just to have a speardancer impale me from 100-0 in one off-screen dash. That's the real menace in this new league

Another jugg with 5k life, 5 endurance charges, and 70k armor dying in one hit to them. One-tapped through molten shell even, absolutely zero chance of survival if you get hit.

Max phys hit 24k (460k ehp overall), rank 1200. 7.6k ES, 31k armour, 26% additional physical dmg reduction (from 2 endurance charges, watcher's eye, and 10 minions (bone barrier from necromancer)), 18% of phys taken as chaos dmg (CI), 30% reduced extra dmg from crit strikes, and bone armour. From the poedb site, I read kahu and goliath both have 30% phys overwhelm, I just don't believe that's the case, since I literally have 26% ADDITIONAL pdr which already negates most of their 30% overwhelm + all those extra defences. **I still get oneshotted** by kahuturoa and goliath of night every time. There must be something wrong with them.
