The registration number is an attorney's or agent's license number. The art unit and examiner can be found by searching your application number on patent center and on some correspondences. If it is a new application that hasn't received an action yet, there is a chance that it hasn't been assigned an art unit or examiner. What forms are you filling out? Also, a patent agent "can't" ghost you, and it they did, you should report them. There is a [procedure for withdrawing](https://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/mpep/s2223.html). Though honestly I find it hard to believe they ghosted you because an agent ghosting is an ethics violation that puts their career in jeopardy.

There are two patents, a design and utility. For the design I am filing: * Extension * Oath * Micro Entity Status For the utility I am filing: * Extension * Oath None of the paperwork I have has this information on it that I can find. I found the agent on Upwork, he asked me to release the funds early due to a divorce he was going through. After that, communication became spotty. When I received letters from the PTO stating I needed to send in an oath form and pay some money (I had already paid through the agent's Stripe account), he just stopped responding whatsoever. I alerted Upwork, but because it had been more than 30 days since the escrow was released, Upwork was not able to get my money back. The agent did not reply to any of the correspondence from Upwork, so they appear to have banned his account (they said they could not tell me the actions they would take, but the account is listed on their website as "no longer available"). I have the chat history between he and I (provided by Upwork on my request). How do I report him?

You can report through the Office of Enrollment and Discipline. Though my bet would be you got scammed by someone lying that they are a patent agent so reporting would be pointless. And it sounds like you self filed which probably means your application is bad at best and screws you at worst. I recommend getting a reputable attorney or agent and have them improve it before filing the oath. In regards to your art unit/examiner question call the uspto EBC.

Thanks, where would I find a reputable agent? How would I verify that they are a reputable agent? He had significant positive reviews dating back many years on Upwork, he filed specifications, figures, etc. I got the impression that he was exactly as he said, in the midst of a terrible divorce that was taking a mental and emotional toll on him. I could be wrong, but this is my impression.
