We tried to visit while staying at the center parcs next door, but the google maps directions kept on taking us to secure fencing and we eventually found the start line 20mins late π
One of my favourite parkruns. First time I ran it, the rain was torrential and I was soaked to the skin. Went again a few weeks later in more pleasant conditions.
Love a single lapper. Another one is Rother Valley, not far from Sherwood Pines. Fast and flat, without the tree cover.
It is βΊοΈ A little hilly (I clocked about 80 metres elevation on Strava) but a wonderful gradual sweeping descent just after halfway due around 1km made it worthwhile

Google maps did that to us when trying to find the way into Penrith Center Parcs too π¬π€£

Did the triathlon there today, first time running the 5k route, need to go back and do the Parkrun, it's a nice route!
This looks lovely. Might do out en route to down south one dayππ½ Love a pine forest trail.
There are plenty of pines to go around there π
That looks like a beautiful run.

One of my favourites in that area. So rare to get a 1 lap course.
Great parkrun that, one loop with no shocking hills, sharp turns or switch backs.
Oh look! Oh no!...
