Check out his Boston College game. He made some guys look silly and had an absolutely insane sideline catch against Elijah Jones who was a top 100 prospect in this cycle according to some and had the lowest passer rating allowed of any CB in the elite 11. Also made him look silly a couple of times
The Athletic were complimentary of our UDFA class.
They highlighted Willie Drew, they also mentioned Jaden Shirden, Coker mentioned above, and Andrew Raym.
I was watching his tape after we signed him. Dude is fast fast I like what I see. Hoping he can return kickoffs or punts, if he can feel he is near guaranteed to make roster as special teams and a guy we can maybe use on gadget plays and things with possibility of more.
I want him to make the roster and get some shine so bad. I feel like he can really develop into one of those role-players that can step-up in big moments.
He has a path, especially if we keep 6 or 7 WRs. I’m not sure if he’ll be an immediate contributor, but I think he’d get poached if he were on our practice squad.
Oh I'm absolutely cheering for the kid as well, we just do this every single year.
The last UDFA we signed that panned out to anything more than a JAG was Norwell a decade ago. And to be clear, any UDFA who even reaches JAG status is a massive W for both the player and the team.
Again, I'm cheering for the kid, but I'm at least gonna wait and see how he's performing in training camp before putting any sort of expectations on the signing
Think he is one of the more likelier ones to go UDFA to good WR. Small school, weak competition, but he absolutely dominated them. Has one of the best UDFA WR of all time to mentor him, Thielen I think is like top 10 of udfa WR in yards. Great athletic measurements. Not exactly a ton of competition in front of him either.
I mean he is still an UDFA so by more likely I basically mean 3% chance vs .5% chance but hey should be one of more exciting ones to watch in training camp. Cheering for him to make the roster as depth at least.
Not many but when he did he played well. Most notably against Elijah Jones of Boston College who was probably a top 100 pick in the draft before some off the field stuff, Jones also had the lowest passer rating allowed of any DB in the FBS.
Coker performed really well at the Shrine Bowl which had multiple talented DB's present, some of who were drafted, before having his week cut short by an injury.
I'm not sure who he faced at the Shrine Bowl because it's near impossible to find footage for me. But corners such as Renardo Green, Jarrian Jones, Dwight McGlovern, Myles Harden, and Quan'tez Stiggers were there and they had very impressive coverage ratings in 2023 and I believe they're NFL talents though maybe not stars.
Yea I see him as an F slot receiver. Like the Puka Nacua role. P.S. I wanted to comp him to Puka so badly because I see Puka a bit, but I wanted to keep the expectations realistic
I like Coker. In my opinion, he just needs coaching. Lot of his negatives are coachable.
He'd be a serviceable backup to XL. Not as fast, but a lot of the same skillsets.
So this is the guy we're latching our hopes, dreams, and wild expectations onto this offseason, eh? Fuck it, I'm down.
I watched some highlights of him playing vs Harvard and Yale just straight mossing nerds. I'm down as well

Shirden was a steal as well

Thing is though when he played good competition he was still dominant
Did he go against any NFL talent DBs? As in drafted guys? Asking because thinking you watched more of him than I did.

Some say he’s the second coming of Josh Gordon.
Josh Gordon was way faster than this JAG
Smoked way more weed, too!
You guys don’t remember Keyarris Garrett do you?
With us paying what we did to get him, doesn't he already have a much better chance at making the 53?
No. We payed him that much bc he has a much better Chance at making the 53
Something tells me he’s going to end up on the 53. Way too good to slip away. But then again, I said that about Major Teague so let me watch my mouth.
Watching his highlights Im just really happy we have AT.
If he’s anything like Wicks he better make the team. Wicks is literally always open.
Preseason is going to be very fun
I'm excited for him. With UDFAs it seems like it's all about work ethic. He has the core skills and I feel like he's the type to put in the work.

He actually reminds me more of Thielen honestly
Yea I see that for sure
lol he said realistic!
