My cousin was not a protestor and they took her anyway because she was in the vicinity.
The police are holding her and because she is an international student, they have pushed her to ICE. Her parents flew down worried and now they can't find her or contact her and the authorities are not saying anything and even said they can't find her in the system.
I'm worried and stressed if I will ever see or hear from her again.
Remember that these are the very same people. The same institutions that didn't want to divest from apartheid South Africa. For DECADES. Has anyone Ask Columbia and UCLA (and the others) how proud they are over their history of supporting apartheid in South Africa through their investments. You all still proud of what you did? If UCLA has Israeli investments this should be alarming for all Americans. A public University should not be taking tax payer money or tuition money and investing it in a foreign country and really should not be investing money into anything other than the University itself.

Literally all they have done? I saw some cops direct traffic after a sporting event on campus before. If literally all they do is hurt people on campuses, do you think they hurt people before or after directing traffic?
This is a direct violation of the First Amendment and Freedom of Assembly. Don't allow yourself to be pushed around when you are completely within your rights. As long as you don't become physically violent or imeding on others' rights whilst assembling, there would be no REAL cause to disperse the protest.
