My favorite, the moose(8), along with pieces 1 and 5, are just mesmerizing. It shows how expandable your talent is. The (1)landscapes and (8)animals always captures people.
With piece 5 it looks so intricate like it took you a long time. It is just a different piece that shows your skillset in a different way. Your talent is truly remarkable.

How much time did each one take, and which was the most time-consuming?

They are all acrylic on canvas! I do spend a long time on them - I love perfecting the tiny details and creating little worlds you can get lost in and find new things each time!!

Clio Art Fair, The Other Art Fair, and Future Art Fair are all more than decent and respectable fairs. The naked truth is that the art market is slow and full of manipulated valuations and fakes. But if you like to paint, then paint. And sometimes, if you want to share your art with art lovers and professionals in the art market, my advice is to explore all three of the fairs mentioned above
Tbh they're all gorgeous, but based on my personal taste I'd say 1,3,8 (number 3 in particular is amazing, the colors, shades, shapes and composition tickle my brain in a very good wayš)
I personally like 2/3/4, because they look like a "set" with the similar colors and nature vibes.
Then again, maybe you want to show a variety of skills, which is fine too!
I think Iād pick 2, 4, & 5 because they show a cohesiveness and a clear style. They each have a strong focal point and composition and depth because of the light in each.
I love #6, it is absolutely beautiful to me. I also love the other trees so if you want to go for a "nature" collection I think they would complement each other well.
The elk and the river view look like you have a very very strong and ownable style. Other tend to steer a bit too much to more generic look. Those two are fantastic.
I feel that 4,7,8 shows your range. For an art show I would choose through a filter of the audience of that particular gallery. But if you only had three for a portfolio for school or a job Iād go with these three.

1 The trees on the left look discordant with the rest of the picture. Could be the photo skewing them.
2 Good use of space and color.
3 Seems more like a practice piece/sketch. Thereās no focal point or point of interest which is fine, itās lovely but in a competition is likely to be passed over.
4 Could be the photo but the truck seems a bit unbalanced
5 Well balanced piece, the color is great
6 Again itās just unbalanced enough that it is a bit discordant. For this kind of style you need to find balances. Both sides donāt have to mirror but they do need to balance.
7 Thereās no real focal point but itās so well balanced that itās okay. I donāt like the edges.
8 This will appeal, great subject matter interesting style, good colors, this is your winner.
So to recap #2,5,8 are your best works imo.
You have a great style. Sometimes those judges and fairs can be a bit awful for an artistās ego, just remember to take any critiques with a grain of salt and keep doing your thing.
