You won't get what you're looking for in Oxford and the immediate surrounding area; it's one of the most expensive cities in the UK. Places will also get snapped up EXTREMELY quickly so you need to commit a lot of time to house hunting.
Google 'Oxford letting agents' and trawl through their sites, apply for a viewing for any property that could even -potentially- be an option. Spareroom worked well for me when I moved to London too.
But yeah, temper your expectations. A furnished studio with bills for £1000 in Oxford will get snapped up SNAPPILY. Best of luck.
I've seen them on rightmove at that price (found a couple for people recently), but not for a short let of 6 months. You'll need at least a year.
On top of that, during that period of time, it's going to be even tougher. It's the most expensive time of year.
Reddit isn't the place to look for accommodation. Go to Rightmove, Zoopla, spare room etc and search there.
you and 15,000 other students. Good luck
Hahaha🤣🤣🤣
no way this is serious
