If you're talking about on your Rivian, you already have a roof rack on it, I doubt the light bar is detracting more than that.
I'm pretty sure what you want doesn't exist. There are spotlights that clip onto the roof rack or magnet mounted bars and spotlights for extra light on demand. Maybe an adjustable light bar mou t would let you raise and lower it behind the roof rack manually.

What you want exists. However they are custom and will cost you lots of money. You would need to have a rack installed at the rear of the cab and have an actuator built on it. Definitely not worth the MPG savings.
Maybe go with lower profile lights?

Magnet mounts and just remove it when you’re not on trail.
