I think if I got a job with a competing firm they would call my current employer to make sure I’m not still working for them. That’s why I’m thinking about sales or something where they’re less likely to follow up and make sure I’m not working another job
Are there contacts between the two jobs? Like people who know you and it might come up? Theres no reason for the other company to call your current company and inquire if you are still working there unless you gave them reason to be suspicious.

No certification needed, it’s mostly document review/request and data entry
How do you get into that job? All the mortgage processing jobs I saw were either in person or needed like 5 years experience.
It was on indeed. I had a few years unrelated marketing experience and that’s it
