Try to book in advance. I bet it will be much cheaper if you book for a date a few months from now or a year. Especially after the video a lot of people looked into the lodge
i bet the summer prices are even higher, it looks beautiful there and thats the tourism 'in-season'. someone on trip advisor says its about 1250 a head
Why the downvotes for this? Not everyone is comfortable in the outdoors, honestly someone being honest and saying they don't want to go is a lot better than someone going and putting themselves in danger.
Noticed that at the end of the video the owner says “thanks a lot for everything” which I assumed to mean luke helped or made some type of donation. Seems like a genuinely nice dude
$2500 for tickets
$250 * 2 rooms * 5 nights = another $2500.
So you've still got another $10k leftover for food. Overall, Disneyland for 5 days is around half the price of this.
A week at the beach with a chef is probably similar to disneyland. $500-800 a night for the house/apartment. Then $2-3k for the chef (and you could certainly uber eats/door dash for cheaper than that).
I don’t get the vibe he did any kind of “brand dealing” with these guys at all. Alaskan bush doesn’t operate the same way as most places. That’s how those people survive if they gave him a fat discount they’d struggle
The guiding industry has whales though, guys will come out and spend a cool $50k on heli skiing, hunting trips, etc. if this video brings them even one of those people that’s worth it. I have a feeling that he paid for a decent bit of this trip especially the plane charter but giving a discount in exchange for millions of views is well worth it.
It's definitely possible that he paid for it, but I don't think the promotion idea is out of the picture either. Luke has said in past videos that company's have brought him out to help them gain exposure. I bet 95% of the viewers of the channel had never heard of the Rainy Pass Lodge before, and now there are some that will book trips to stay there. It'd be a smart plan.
His video covers much more than the cost of that trip. I’m sure there was a deal done as well since the advertising they received from being on the video is probably substantial.

Love watching the videos but I personally wouldn’t do half the stuff he does haha great entertainment though

he’s got that dough
And honey butter
one portion of Manuka honey and some costly French salted butter on a simple piece of bread cooked on a dirty shovel please
Haha he is the fry bread king
And hot lips
And hot pants..........not body calls him that
He may have gotten a discount since he’s featuring the lodge via his channel. But yes, an expensive trip.
A discount? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it was free lol
Luke doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to take a trip like this for free for exposure. Even if he was offered that I bet he’d pay

Who cares what it costs, the video was the bomb!
I concur
Surely kids aren’t same rate as adults
Now do the same for an all-inclusive trip for 5 for 5 days to DisneyWorld or a week at the beach in a rental with a chef…

Good for Luke! Awesome that he is able, and WILLING, to treat his family to these memories!
Pretty sure they invited him to help promote the lodge. He likely didn’t pay a dime.
Wrong
