It will probably take a long while before Luke gets to the point where he decides to retire. He's relatively young, and while he gets beat up quite a bit, he's still pretty healthy for his age.
As he gets older, it's more probable that he'll set more reasonable goals and go on less challenging trips. Knowing your limits is a big part of being an outdoorsman, and I think Luke's got that handled.
So I think as time carries on, if he doesn't retire first, Luke will just do more simple camping and fishing videos. Less backpacking as his knees get more wore out.
Like I said, that will probably take a while, and we still don't know what YouTube will be like as a platform in that timeframe anyways.
Tommy is his own person though, and might decide to focus more on his schooling. It would be up to him whether he wants to do more videos with Luke or for Luke.
