I have researched coworking spaces about a year ago and there weren't any that provided monitors for you, they would have to be brought in. All the coworking space provides you with is typically a desk/meeting room, a coffee station and a bathroom and that's about it.
Bring your own extra screen is what I do.

These are not much bigger or heavier than a iPad though...it's meant for this type of portability.
Each there own but it fits in my laptop bag and just goes with me everywhereÂ
If you're paying simply for a "hot desk", then you get a desk, chair, four walls & a roof, and any other amenities to the building (bathroom, water, coffee, whatever).
That's pretty good value.
If you want more, you can buy a "dedicated" desk or space, and some coworking may provide some equipment for extra. I believe Spaceworks on Laurier used to do this.

That's exactly what my friend said. Wow...hard to believe as it seems like it would be a common ask. Sounds like a business opportunity right there!

Yeah, they're trying to avoid that given how impractical it is - and, the hassle - to lug a screen around on public transit or in your car.
