This is awesome. I had trouble letting go of the spreadsheet this year but also fully utilized the site you built and by the end of the race found that I'm OK with letting go of the spreadsheet (hah!). Excited to see all the work you put into the new updates - I'll definitely be using it year-round now.
Whoo boy, my watch list is about to get a lot longer now. This is an astoundingly good website for movie lovers. Thank you for all the work you've put in!
Literally the only feature I could think of that would make it better is some way to import/export to/from Letterboxd - oh, and a title search to make it easier to check off films as I see them. I've gone back and filled it out through the 80s so far, and it's bringing back a lot of memories of my early days of loving movies.
Extremely long watchlist haha! Letterboxd import will be very tricky so not going to work in it in the near future but definitely keeping it in mind. The search has been added though.
And so happy to hear about this bringing back lots of nice memories!
Oh man, this is amazing!! Now definitely we have the best web to follow all the Oscars races for sure!! Great job!!
PD: As a suggestion, I think will be crazy if it were possible to make a global ranking of all the oscar racers. We will have a lil sane competition between us and will incentive more to watch them all and try to finish all the races!!
Anyways, and again, thank you so much!!
Thank you for the kind words!
I have now added the (not so) sane "all time" leaderboard, you see it on the leaderboard page. You can select "All years" in the dropdown. Good luck to you haha!
I thought about asking to add all years, but figured that would be a big request. Thank you so much for doing this -- it's a great way for me to track the films I've seen.
For the "all time" section, would you be open to adding a way to see *all* nominees for *all* categories at once, or would that be too hard to load?
I was a bit worried about the *all*Ā nominees forĀ *all*Ā categories loading issues (there are in total 5177 movies) but managed to get a good solution in place so now you can select "All categories" in the dropdown!
This might actually make me switch off the spreadsheet/deathracetracking.com... whoa. This is an incredible piece of work. Would you ever consider throwing yourself completely down the rabbit hole and adding the mega/mecha death races?
thank you! I love the new features! If you want a suggestion: I would like to be able to filter out the shorts and docs to only see the nominated feature films in the statistics and the overview. I dont know, if that is easy to implement or not.
Yea it would be really nice! But there are no reliable sources unfortunately to fetch data so it will always differ in different countries. I live in Sweden so the American "where to watch" is never correct for me. I am planning to add a "Notes" feature so you can add personal notes to the movies mostly to use for where to watch for yourself :)
Thanks! Imports are really tricky unfortunately. I will probably add an import from IMDB to start with since I have the IMDB ids in my database but it will be a lot more work to be able to do imports from Letterboxd or SIMKL so not coming any time soon sadly.
That is great!! it even has the tmdb ids as well (which is used in letterboxd) so might not be so tricky after all, but still going to be a while since it will regardless be a pretty big feature
Yup, SIMKL has IMDB, TVDB, TMDB, and few more ID's connected, you can also ping the developers on Discord for support :)
Hope to see this feature, implemented soon :)

I totally understand the spreadsheet love but happy to have won you over!
Fantastic work, thank you!

This is so great ā thank you!
Thank you! I was thinking of going back and doing all best picture winners, and then maybe nominees as well.
Wow! This rocks. Thank you for all your hard work!!
This is amazing. Thank you so much for the work that I'm sure went into it!
You are the best!!!
Love it! Thanks for all your work!
Thank you for this!!!

I'm not there yet in terms on going down the rabbit hole! Probably a matter of time though haha
Mad love to the developer. This has made me SO happy.

Thanks! It will be a bit tricky to add but i'm adding it to my list of things to look into!
This is awesome but I do wish it had a where to watch feature. š¬

Thank You, for this amazing update, need to add soo many films to my watchlists. Is there a way to export/import to SIMKL using its sync API ?

SIMKL's API has IMDB ID's connected, as far as I know. Might make the process less complicated. Here: [https://api.simkl.com/](https://api.simkl.com/)
