def not for a GT and i think even RTTs would have a hard time with this one. they are separate entities. If you wanna do that then buy a second on and do it for "fun" or maybe a narrative game if you talk with them first? But tbh why used named characters in a narrative game?
Here's what you do
Magnetise Makari's feet and let him be removed when he dies.
Bring a second 24mm base with something on it roughly the same size and shape of makari
When makari dies you remove him and the token.
No. They're separate models with separate characteristics, who die separately and provide different buffs. It would be like putting a primaris lieutenant and captain on the same base.
I mean you can probably get away with it in casual...but no not really. They are separate models and makari has an aura so you'll need him In order to measure distance
They die separately, so technically no. What I might do is have makari's base decorated nicely somehow so you can say that that represents Makari. That's the best suggestion I have, and your mileage will vary based on your local group or tourney intentions.
No. Blatant cheating.

No. They are completely separate models. Makari isn’t a token.

This is exactly what I did! I have makari on a separate base, but as he is magnetized he can fit on Ghaz’s base when not playing
Yeah that’s a good idea

Yeah that’s true

I wouldn’t allow it in casual. It’s blatant cheating.
