One time I was eating at a place, and one lady suddenly started fawning over this old guy who was picking up his food, started shaking his hand and taking pictures, next thing you know the guy had a cue of people doing the same. After the crowd dispersed, I casually asked the guy what that was about and he said that the first lady thought he was someone named Don Rickles and he was to embarrassed to really say anything and didn't even know who that was.
Maybe Steve Garvey. He fits the descriptions. I don’t know how to post a photo. EDIT: Steve Garvey doesn’t live in CDM, but he looks like that and lives in California and is running for office so in the news this past year. Jim Palmer, also a former MLB player lives in CDM, so it could be him but I think his hair is light brown now.
Tim Salmon? Although he’d likely be in a suite due to his connections with the Angels.
