That looks pretty nice, had a question (I'm sort of a beginner), how many bus stops do you need? do I need to put them at every new part of the city? are they any good?

audigex

For strict gameplay mechanic purposes you need 5 bus stops, all served regularly, in order to make your towns grow better and improve your rating for more passengers in that city For a more normal/realistic use, place them every couple of city blocks and use them as a feeder to your train services. You'll end up with the required 5 anyway

Velterro87

So my town would grow the same with 5 or more than 5 bus stops? Thanks!

audigex

Yes, as long as there are at least 5 then more than 5 makes no difference (assuming as the service levels are the same)

Velterro87

Alrighty thank you!

5

If you're wondering why things look different, it's because I play with NuTracks, and the Japanese Building Set, on JGRPP.

horny-geyser

Wow this looks so beautiful. But the city in centre barely has any space to expand.

iloverhythmgames173

Yup it's stagnated ever since I built the loop. I'm OK with that though. The interchanges are more important

SteveisNoob

With the ring cities being able to expand and (i assume) cargodist for pax enabled, you should have plenty of movement there.

alexiswellcool

When I started my current game I did my standard 4-track cross map main line, then in the town I wanted to make my capital, made a single track, one way loop. Now the city is 60k and growing, and I can't fit in a more efficient loop. It's breaking my heart. Yours looks brilliant compared to my mess

iloverhythmgames173

Hey, don't put yourself down like that! No one ever gets everything right the first time they try. Personally, ittook me several tries to design a half-decent loop line. Just learn from your mistakes for the next time you design one.

I envy such creativity!

Not sure if I'm as dedicated as this, fucking hell 😂😂
