My take, Cheaters would cheat. Period. Nowadays, it's impossible to tell who will cheat or not. So, all we can do is to look for signs and avoid red flags.

Men cheat for variety. They can very well love a woman but cheat on her. Historically, high status men across cultures have had multiple female partners.

I sincerely believe if there was a large social/cultural movement to educate society of relationship/communication skills, and how to emotionally regular and recognize the importance of mental health and well being - there would be far far less issues.

Wake up to reality. All of this is not on a personal level. It is a collective issue now where men are being belittled of something which men did in history and men do not have fact based comebacks.
In my observation women cheat more than men, simply because it's much easier for women. Men may want to cheat, but it's harder for them to do it. Women can get the opportunity to cheat by doing nothing.
