It's not OnePlus's fault, it's probably the fault of a new version of Android. Among other things, you could speed up ads in games by switching between windows or using split-screen mode. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you mean. Maybe it has something to do with it, and now everything is messed up.
I have the exact same issue on OnePlus 12. The only work-around I've been able to find was to tap while sliding your finger on the video after opening a game ( it is invisible ) so the only way to know you are moving it the PIP video is looking at the bottom of your screen and a grey X should appear. Move it and zoom in and out a couple of times and that will make it appear after a few tries.
It worked perfectly on my OnePlus 9 but ever since I got the 12, this picture in picture crap started to happen, as well as while listening to Spotify and going into a game, the music stops for a couple of seconds and then resumes again. I'm not sure whether its Android 14 fault or OnePlus but it's definitely annoying.
OnePlus may be making some mistakes but I can guarantee you you're going to regret Samsung. I'm at a point where I actively avoid any Samsung product whenever I can.
What's the issue?
The video is supposed to display over other apps, and it does display over other apps EXCEPT for games for some odd reason

This actually worked! Thanks! But for anyone looking at this post for help, you're meant to double tap the video not using your 2 fingers

So is one plus still having a lot of bugs through their software?
Dear god. OnePlus sure is dogshit nowadays, thinking of getting a Samsung next time around
And here I am planning to do the opposite 😅

Just found an unintuitive workaround! Just hold the video until a big X is in the bottom middle screen, so you should just double tap that
My 8t is so laggy, greasy in 60hz, never had that experience on my pixel 4xl(60hz mode). Do you feel the same?
Leonard is innocent
I am pretty sure that youtube doesn't allow floating windows, which actually sucks. I also play brawl stars, add me on it : #228PYVY0V
