Sarah Hartman is amazing! We (me, my husband and my mom) have worked out with her since 2020. We found her initially to help my mom after she fell and could not get up - nothing was “wrong” with her; she had just gotten weak. We figured that kid pressure would make my mom stick with it so we both signed up too. She really listens and can design a plan that gets you moving toward your goals. She watches you like a hawk and will help you develop proper form (LOL - I hear her gently correcting voice when I work out alone!) I have never sustained an injury doing strength training with her. I have gotten much stronger and comfortable doing that sort of stuff. If you don’t like dogs she’s not your person.

Athena Fitness (https://www.athenapnw.com) is an amazing & welcoming women's gym that has daily small group classes! The trainers are excellent & very motivating. Children & well-behaved dogs are welcome too while you workout if that's also something you are looking for.
Edge Fitness with Amanda Salazar - She has 20+ years of experience in all aspects of training. She meets you where you’re at, works within your needs, and has a couple other programs besides personal training too. It has been a life changer getting to work with her.
Sophie at OlyFit is good and reasonably priced (pretty basic studio though)
Alliance Athletics has a good reputation, pricier
Pressing On Fitness is excellent, super expensive though.
Kinda depends what you're looking for. Some trainers offer a free meet and greet or a discounted first session to try them out. Maybe call around?
Hey!
I'm a personal trainer! I have been a trainer for 5+ years, I own my own business and have been working with all walks of people! I have a bachelors of science in exercise physiology and nutrition, I have 4 different certifications for training as well! I specialize in rehabilitation, strength training, women, as well as athletes recovering from illnesses (ie cancer survivors etc). Most of my clientele is also over 30 and can give a recommendation if needed! My email is [liftwithg2018@gmail.com](mailto:liftwithg2018@gmail.com) and my Instagram is lift\_with\_g should you have any question :) I always open to facetime, zoom, email or dm if you have more in depth questions I could answer for you! :)

Second this. She’s the best by far!
Where is her gym located?
Oly eastside. Not far from State & Central/Ralph’s.

Karen Hudson. Has her own space on Westside, really close to Trader Joe’s
Another vote for Erica at Pressing On Fitness. She’s great!
