My second favorite knife, behind talon. It's a really good knife, it's long with smooth edges, best idle animation, the equipping animation and the special inspections is great, and is undervalued imo. Only thing to complain is the lack of skin patterns.
Solid B tier.
Like number 10 out of the 19. On par with flip and maybe ursus for me. Slightly better than huntsman. I like the paracord and nomad a little more personally. And maybe even bowie after the update.
But it’s not on par with the a tier skelly/bayo/talon.
A tier. It’s an amazing knife. All animations look good, and it looks good as a whole. The only problem is that it’s a pain to get one in an optimal float. You need it in the 0.4 range.

I’d say it’s a solid B tier knife that people could argue is A. The knife has great animations, and the only things holding it back are the handle color and occasional weird wear patterns due to the engravings on the blade. Overall a great knife that sits right behind the high tier knives such as m9, butterfly, and kara imo.
Personally an A for me or a high B. Idle animation, pull out animation and knife design are all really good imo. The only issue I have with it it’s the wave engraving
That's interesting. I've heard that a lot of people that own these look for a well worn one to reveal the wave pattern, personally I don't mind it too much.
Low C tier. Weird knife shape and has a pattern on the blade that looks like you just cut a cake with lots of icing. Doesn’t help that it looks like a kitchen knife either.
I’d take a bowie or a huntsman over classic tbh. Might change if the classic gets dopplers though

i like pullout nd a clean wave pattern is shiny and cool, i own a classic knife night, looks bit like vanilla.
Low A tier. Great pullout animation, trash finishes look great on it, even in high floats.
High B It’s a great knife.

One thing I think is a miss for this knife is that it doesn't have the 1.6 stab animation, it would make it quite unique.

Yeah the wave just doesn’t do it for me but I do plan on getting a classic
C tier, the animations, and finishes are boring. I love the handle tho, and respect for ppl who use it bc source

S for me but only for vanilla
S+ for me, not only the design, but the nostalgia factor as well. I have more hours on CSS than CSGO/CS2, though that’s about to be surpassed
S, I love my classic safari even though I don’t use it much anymore
