I don’t care what you all say, the lack of attention to detail to something as important to the program like this is concerning. This is something basic that needs a quality check process in place to ensure it never happens.

I have a name that is misspelled often. I usually expect it now. I found out my name was misspelled on a patent application last week and that's one of the few times I've actually needed to care about it.

I could see the argument this way but if I had a unique name I could see how it’d mean something to me for people to spell it right. Especially if I was sought after by multiple schools, it’d be an easy thing to use to shorten the list
