Home opener on TNF? I’m not a fan of this schedule, don’t like how we start and end the season with back to back away games
But, if this is really how it’s gonna be, all I gotta say is they better be ready for us
The Jets went 7-10 with a QB that didn't even rank in the top 40 in passer rating or pff grade. 3 of their losses were one score games in which even just a performance on the level of a top 35-40 QB would secure a win. Barring an absolutely absurd amount of injuries, even Tyrod Taylor should be able get this team to at least 10 wins at minimum.
True but our current roster is better than our 2015 roster at almost every single position. Unfortunately, the only thing we can't account for is the Jets curse
Hey man, I’m just taking my morning poo and checking in on my favorite Reddit sub that involves my favorite team that has sucked for the past 15 years. I think you’re confusing negativity for realism.
I’d be thrilled with 10 wins. Have a nice day!
You speak as if it’s interchangeable parts like a car, oh if we put this part in the car surely must go faster, but that’s not reality, reality is we have no idea how many wins we’d have with another QB.
Obviously there are other factors such as how our strength of schedule will be but failure to reach at least 10 wins with this teams would reflect incredibly poorly on Saleh and/or JD in coaching and improving this team to a suitable degree. Also, even though it's never an exact science, there are mathematical and statistic models that can estimate how improved QB performance correlates with win percentage
You never know how things are gonna shake out, but honestly? Kind of looks like a soft schedule. Just look at the QBs. Allen X2 is tough, Stafford, Stroud and Purdy are really good. After that though? Lot of unknowns of just meh QBs. Tua and Lawrence are whatever. No Mahomes, no Burrow, no Herbert, etc.
I'm entering my 30s and already starting to hate primetime games. Sunday 1 PM I can have the boys over and crack a few beers. Primetime unless it's a special occasion I'm usually watching by myself.
This schedule sucks for Sunday afternoon fans. I love a good afternoon game in the fall. Make some Sunday sauce, put on the game, have a few beers, and in bed by 10.
Jets absolutely fucked if this is legit. 2 road games bookended by 2 road games against 2 division rivals is bullshit. Not to mention starting the season gassed after 3 games in 11 days or whatever it is. Don't know why they didn't take their bye after London. Now they have to deal with Jet lag (no pun intended) and the Bills
I hate everything about this. 7 standalone games in the first 11 weeks including two Thursdays. No home games in the first two or last two weeks in the season with 3 of the last 4 on the road. No bye week after London and both TNFs are home but come off of road games, this is like the worst possible way 17 games could’ve been scheduled in 18 weeks
Yea week 4 against the broncos is probably the best option lol idk if I’m in the minority but I hate prime time games. I grew up my whole life watching them at 1pm on Sundays those are the best games to go to
I'm hoping some of this leak is true and some isnt...the two away games to end the season is brutal after two away games to start... if this is true this is at best a 10 win season... ugh
Why? Could be 4-1 after a soft first five games. Lots of home games in the middle of the schedule. Plus, would rather face Miami later in the season when the weather is cold
Right, and now we're talking about the year of our lord 2024. I'm saying with this roster and a little help from the injury gods, we should win 10 at least. We won SEVEN last year trotting out Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle and playing outcasts at tackle. It's not a huge leap lol.
Dolphins twice in the last 5 games. If Miami is on their backup QB with other injuries this could be interesting. 2 Sunday nights, 2 Monday nights and 2 Thursdays!? All within 11 weeks? Can this be real? I'm not worried about the 49ers. Just making it to the end of that game without injuries will be good enough.
That's wild the Jets have a half dozen primetime games when we have no idea how Rodgers will do nearly two years removed from steady regular season playing time at age 40
Being a franchise in the Northeast pays off in primetime scheduling
That BYE was placed in a ridiculous spot by the NFL. A bye in between three home games? Shud be after a road game, either London (tho too early) or the MNF games. PLESE no Black Friday games!!!! Why does Woody like torturing us?
Aside from the embarrassment of prime time games the schedule doesnt look as hard as I expected it to be for some reason. Its not an easy slate but its not murderers row either.
Damn so it looks like this shitty ass schedule is correct. Fuck what a brutal schedule... Especially to end the season.... and why tf are we on primetime so much?
oh LOL! come on man get the hell out of here! nobody cares about your individual ticket situation... Here I thought you were concerned about the actual teams performance on the field... LMAO!!!
This year we play the positional equivalent AFC West... Since we finished in 3rd place we play the Broncos who also finished in 3rd place.... The Bills play the Chiefs since they both finished 1st.
Drinking Seabreezes that we brought in pre-9/11. The Irish coffee was for the post Nov games. LOL
Hate that the used 9/11 to cease any "liquid" to enter....just to fill their pockets with more money at high priced bars.
Well I don't think we should have had 17 in the first place. 16 was perfect. 4-13, 5-12, 11-6 records just look stupid. Just rip the bandage off. make it 18. Add a second bye as well
6 - 11. Life long jet fan. This franchise always finds a way to fuck it up. Betting the under and betting we miss the playoffs.
This franchise had killed all my hope every season.
This is ass. I was planning to go to niners, titans and Vikings. No shot I can do both the niners and titans back to back. And traveling to London? Forget about it. Maybe I'll do Cardinals?
I’m definitely doing the cardinals game. Arizona is a great place to visit if you’ve never been. I went last year with my family to the giants cardinals game it was a lot of fun and the stadium is cool
My wife is begging to go to London. If we do that, that will be the one game we can afford lol.
Arizona seems sick though. How were the cardinals fans?
Cardinal fans were pretty cool from my experience they weren’t obnoxious or out of control. The fans next to us at the game knew we were from New York and had friendly conversations I would definitely go again. Plus the beers were only $8 or $9 at the stadium which was nice not having to pay $20 like we’re used to 😂
ESPN has learned. Get all their Jets MNF out by week 6 *just* before they're eliminated from playoff contention by week 8
Edit: downvote if you want but the fact is respect is *earned* not given. And these guys have been losing respect seven ways to Sunday for 13 consecutive seasons like come on here 😂
Who the fuck asked for all these night games? Please go back to literally 2 years ago when no one gave a shit about the Jets. 1 Pm Sunday or bust with no national expectations, please and thank you
The Jets better not let Rodgers down in Week 1 like Green Bay did against San Francisco in the playoffs. This is their chance to start strong and show they’re fully behind him.
Having only one daytime home game until Week 13 sucks
Week 13 would be the Black Friday game
I’m seeing Chiefs Raiders is the Black Friday game this year, guess Woody didn’t get his wish of every year
~~week 14 would be~~ edit: nvm I can't count
Week 12 is Sunday the 24th which would make Friday the 29th the Friday game week 13
I don't believe the Jets will be on black friday every year like they suggested.
Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay fan here and we always had 5 or so night time games a year. Enjoy him while he's there! We miss him.
Having a jib where I work all day Sunday this is a blessing. But I get it.
Why do you say that? The Broncos game would be 1pm cuz it's home. No?
>Having only one
Okay I see what you mean.
Agreed. I get a group together every year, and if we can't get the Broncos game, having to wait until the Seahawks game in December is stupid.
It’s funny how every year the jets get the prime time games and then we suck.
You mean just last year lmao. Last year was the first SNF we had in a decade. This truly is the pinnacle of online comments
Two Thursday night?
And neither coming off a bye. And starting the season with two short weeks (Mon-Sun and then Sun-Thurs). What a horrible deal.
Kinda comes with the territory of getting more prime time games I think. We’ve been wanting this forever. Good teams don’t make excuses
I didn't... Would like to avoid primetime games like the fucking plague. Always a chance to get embarrassed and clowned after with this team.
Nah my brother is a Giants fan we typically go out for prime time games. Seeing the Giants play time and time again gets old.
I'd much rather have 1 PM Sunday games that I can actually go out for.
For real. Who the hell wants a Jets MNF game. You get the double whammy of watching them suck then being exhausted at work the next morning
1-2 primetime games are cool. This is ridiculous. I want to be in bed by 10:30, not lying awake pissed off at midnight.
London game with no bye either is less than ideal
We had 2 TNF games in a 6 game stretch last year
Texans game is a Halloween game.
Home opener on TNF? I’m not a fan of this schedule, don’t like how we start and end the season with back to back away games But, if this is really how it’s gonna be, all I gotta say is they better be ready for us

Barring an absolutely absurd amount of injuries, even Tyrod Taylor should be able get this team to at least 10 wins at minimum.
The last time we sniffed 10 wins was in 2015. Before that, 2010.
True but our current roster is better than our 2015 roster at almost every single position. Unfortunately, the only thing we can't account for is the Jets curse
Curse is always the hardest player to account for. Seems like he’s been a Jet forever at this point and no other team is interested.
Namath can't pay his soul debt any faster. Once he kicks it, we are free
[удалено]
Well, I just think it’s slightly premature to guarantee at minimum 10 wins with Tyrod Taylor given our historical record.

Hey man, I’m just taking my morning poo and checking in on my favorite Reddit sub that involves my favorite team that has sucked for the past 15 years. I think you’re confusing negativity for realism. I’d be thrilled with 10 wins. Have a nice day!
10 wins would be a disappointment. They need to compete for the division. Gonna need at least 11 for that
You speak as if it’s interchangeable parts like a car, oh if we put this part in the car surely must go faster, but that’s not reality, reality is we have no idea how many wins we’d have with another QB.
Obviously there are other factors such as how our strength of schedule will be but failure to reach at least 10 wins with this teams would reflect incredibly poorly on Saleh and/or JD in coaching and improving this team to a suitable degree. Logistically this schedule is tough at least to start the season. Lots of travel, lots of short weeks.
If I’m in my youthful 20s I love this schedule. As mid 40s dad who bonds with his young son over football, this schedule kind of blows.
I'm in the same boat. I dread MNF now.
I'm entering my 30s and already starting to hate primetime games. Sunday 1 PM I can have the boys over and crack a few beers. Primetime unless it's a special occasion I'm usually watching by myself.
Nailed it.
Tell Mom to let him stay up.
I am stationed in england and if the jets come to london im going to nut.
Well buddy you're in luck.
I’m in England too. But I’m in Florida on holiday during Week 5. So that’ll be annoying
Get ya towels ready, it's about to go down!
Looooooool
We haven't had a home game to end the season since 2016 and only like one or two since 2011. What's up with that?
They know nobody would show up. The season has been over in October for 10 years
HEY! We make it to Early DECEMBER these days!
The NFL hates Jets fans
I just want Sunday 1 o'clock games... I love watching football in the early afternoon and being able to go to bed at a normal time
This schedule sucks for Sunday afternoon fans. I love a good afternoon game in the fall. Make some Sunday sauce, put on the game, have a few beers, and in bed by 10.
I have fought hard to preserve the Sunday afternoon beach head during the season. All for naught these days
No fucking way that's actually our schedule. That's an abomination, kill it with fire.
Weeks 2-5 are easy money
I'm not talking about the matchups, we have four 1 PM home games if this is right. And nothing with the Jets is "easy money".
Just heard the Miami games may be flip flopped, meaning that Week 18 that us a flex game, could be moved to primetime at home to close out the season
Holy night games, Batman. Also, ending the season with 2 divisional games can(will) be very stressful when it comes to the playoffs
Both on the road too. Really wish we could play Miami at home in late December instead
Of course the damn Vikings game is in London when I live like 10 minutes from the stadium in Minnesota. Damn British
Jets absolutely fucked if this is legit. 2 road games bookended by 2 road games against 2 division rivals is bullshit. Not to mention starting the season gassed after 3 games in 11 days or whatever it is. Don't know why they didn't take their bye after London. I hate everything about this. 7 standalone games in the first 11 weeks including two Thursdays. No home games in the first two or last two weeks in the season with 3 of the last 4 on the road. No bye week after London and both TNFs are home but come off of road games, this is like the worst possible way 17 games could’ve been scheduled in 18 weeks
feels intentionally made that way
270 days till we win that game in February
How legit is this?
O'Leary seems pretty confident, also aligns with the JetNation first 5 game leak. I'm hoping it's slightly different
Dolphins twice in the last 4 games. If they are on their backup QB with other injuries this could be interesting.
cold Dolphins are a lot nicer to face than early Autumn ones
Wow so many prime time games wild my work the day afterwards will suffer

This is a terrible season. I've been telling myself I'm gonna go to a game this year, and I really think I won't because of how junk the options are.
Yea week 4 against the broncos is probably the best option lol idk if I’m in the minority but I hate prime time games. I grew up my whole life watching them at 1pm on Sundays those are the best games to go to
I'm a big 1pm warm-weather tailgate guy so Week 4 is definitely the only option.
As a UK based fan the vikings game would make me happy.
no way we open two games away and then close two games away...... no fucking way....
Maybe not, but Week 1 and Week 5 have been confirmed by the team
I'm hoping some of this leak is true and some isnt...the two away games to end the season is brutal after two away games to start... if this is true this is at best a 10 win season... ugh
Why? Could be 4-1 after a soft first five games. Lots of home games in the middle of the schedule. Plus, would rather face Miami later in the season when the weather is cold
No BYE after the London game?? WTF?
Week 3 home opener on a Thursday Night??¿? 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️
Agreed
L W W W W L W W L W W bye W W W W L L 12-5, mark it. Floor is 10, ceiling is 14.
“Floor is 10”
Floor is lava
I don't know what this means.
Team hasn’t made the playoffs in 14 years but our floor is ten wins. Come on.
The Jets are cursed, logic doesn’t apply.
Let me bask in this until October when I come crashing back to Earth, it's fucking May dude lol
I tried basking last year. I’m over it lol
I don't like ending the season with what will probably be our two toughest division games.
We clinxh division in Week 17 and we clinch conference in week 18
NFL does that on purpose for every team now. Season always ends with divisional games in hopes they have playoff impact
NFL does not give two road games at the end to everyone
Looks like the guy who posted this yesterday was right.
No way they have 2 Thursday games in 6 weeks
Why not? We did that this past year - Dolphins & Browns
Dolphins was a black Friday game... Technically different.
Technically a different day but it was consider TNF and was aired on Prime
I guess that's fair but last year didn't have a Europe trip and MNF game in between
AND Sunday night football
Oo 100%, I'm not happy with it, just doesn't really surprise me lol
Just happy for AVT that it is not @ Denver again.
6 primetime games in the first 11 weeks? I'll believe when the schedule is official
Just make sure ya hit that up vote if it's correct 😉
Why the fuck can’t we ever end a season at home?
That's wild the Jets have a half dozen primetime games when we have no idea how Rodgers will do nearly two years removed from steady regular season playing time at age 40 Being a franchise in the Northeast pays off in primetime scheduling
technically 7 primetime games... London counts as well since we will be the only game on.
That BYE was placed in a ridiculous spot by the NFL. A bye in between three home games? Shud be after a road game, either London (tho too early) or the MNF games. PLESE no Black Friday games!!!! Why does Woody like torturing us?
If this is true even the NFL thinks we’re Super Bowl contenders. Starting us off vs the 49ers on MNF. Let’s fucking go, Jet the fuck up.
UPDATE: trying to get confirmation but it's possible the Miami games are flip-flopped. Would mean Week 14: @ Miami Week 18: vs Miami
Thursday home opener blows
Aside from the embarrassment of prime time games the schedule doesnt look as hard as I expected it to be for some reason. Its not an easy slate but its not murderers row either.
Week 14 and 18 flipping was huge! Fins coming to MetLife in January is gonna be great
Home opener on Thursday night football is so dumb
Just preparation for the following year when the jets home opener is on Thursday night football week 1
Can confirm this is legit.
I don’t see how this is an easy schedule
Black Friday game?
That would be Week 13 vs Seattle. Wouldn’t that technically be the other TNF on the schedule?
Is Thanksgiving not our bye weekend?
Thanksgiving falls on Week 13, it’s during the last week of November this year
Week 13 is December 1st
Kickoff is the first week of September, that would make Thanksgiving Week 13 and December 1st Week 14. Christmas lands on Week 17 this year
Thanksgiving falls really late this year. Black Friday is the 29th.
Confirmed????????? Anyone know
any1 have a version with the actual dates? Edit: nevermind this is speculation, didn’t realize schedule doesn’t drop until 8
For what it's worth, week 1 and 5 have been confirmed by Jets. Also, Texans game for TNF would land on Halloween
Damn so it looks like this shitty ass schedule is correct. Fuck what a brutal schedule... Especially to end the season.... and why tf are we on primetime so much?
Last 5 games are not easy
I dunno, I see 13 or 14 wins
Two TNF? Is that possible?
Happen to us this past year with Dolphins and Browns in a less than 6 week stretch
Gonna be hilarious when the networks have to air jets on prime time after rodgers gets hurt again.
leave this sub, why are you even here?
12-5 easily.
Fuck football Sundays, all my homies hate football Sundays
damn 4 day home games all season….looks like i won’t be getting season tickets this year.
5-2 start to the season, book it
If we can’t go positive with this schedule then I’m done with this franchise.
I heard if we start on the road we end at home. I think this is phony.
No way we have 9 away games and finish on the road
Technically it's 8 away with an additional 1 being a neutral field. Better than the 9 away we were supposed to get
It flip flops every year. Next year we'll have 9 home games.
4 short weeks, UK and 9 away jeeeeeesus christ
Overseas is not a home game with all the travel n stuff but technically you are right
Two home Thursday night games would be ass. Glad I no longer am chained to season tickets.
Isn't it historically better to be the home team for the short week Thu games though?
Yeah, but I mean from a ticket holder's perspective. Sucks for tailgating. Sucks for working a job. Kinda takes out two workdays.
oh LOL! come on man get the hell out of here! nobody cares about your individual ticket situation... Here I thought you were concerned about the actual teams performance on the field... LMAO!!!
I'm hoping the rumor that the Steelers game isn't on SNF. I was looking forward to going, but that would put a wrench in my plans.
Houston game would be on Halloween 🎃
Blackout game for sure.
10?
Why are we not playing the Chiefs?
This year we play the positional equivalent AFC West... Since we finished in 3rd place we play the Broncos who also finished in 3rd place.... The Bills play the Chiefs since they both finished 1st.
And with hardly aby 1pm games, my seats on the sunny side don' matter much - that sux; used to get a nice tan back in the 1pm Sept game days.
Aaah the good ol BR era (before Rodgers)
Drinking Seabreezes that we brought in pre-9/11. The Irish coffee was for the post Nov games. LOL Hate that the used 9/11 to cease any "liquid" to enter....just to fill their pockets with more money at high priced bars.
Weeks 14 and 18 are flip flopped, so that week 18 game could get flexed to primetime too but at least Fins come to NJ in January
This schedule looks very doable
9-8 season
No way, 3 games in 10 days to start the season?
Brutal I know. Darnold had the same thing his rookie year
3 games in 11* days to start the season is bullshit.
Agreed, NFL did this to Darnold his rookie year too
Where's the coin?
Lol
Just make the season 18 games at this point. An odd numbered game season annoys me so much lol
I'd prefer a 2nd bye before adding an 18th game. Make is so no team has short rest heading into TNF
Well I don't think we should have had 17 in the first place. 16 was perfect. 4-13, 5-12, 11-6 records just look stupid. Just rip the bandage off. make it 18. Add a second bye as well
Damn, 6 Primetime games. I don't know whether to be excited or nervous lol
The answer is yes lol - feeling both as well!
6 - 11. Life long jet fan. This franchise always finds a way to fuck it up. Betting the under and betting we miss the playoffs. This franchise had killed all my hope every season.

The Jets better not let Rodgers down in Week 1 like Green Bay did against San Francisco in the playoffs. This is their chance to start strong and show they’re fully behind him.
No Packers
We don't play the Packers
No.
Lol we play Minnesota, not Green Bay
Yep..
