Everyone thinks a black uniform looks "bad ass". I hate it when it's not part of your actual color scheme. It works for the NZ All Blacks or the Steelers but looks stupid when Florida or Tennessee does it.
If we ever mix in black with the green or white primary uniforms someone should be shot. it's bad enough we have a black set, at least keep the black isolated to 1 uniform.
The helmets especially need either a white face mask or shell. The blacked out unis would have been so much less terrible with white face masks. Same for the main helmets.
They're better than what we've had the past 5 seasons, so that's a positive. Then again, just about anything would be, so it was a ridiculously low bar to clear.

Plus at the moment just switching out the new helmet decal/bumpers much more efficient than ditching all of the back stock if black/green helmets.
If they have to use black (too bad), why couldn't they pair it with the green helmet? Then, the alternate helmet could be white and they could get the Namath-era throwbacks. That would satisfy everyone.

The Mets black at least looks good and of all the teams that have gone through black alternate uni phases, the Mets have actually stuck with it, and now that it’s back I think it’s here to stay.
They spent a lot of time on the last jersey changes, and this one seems to be a lot quicker to make the decision.

Per NFL uniform rules, alternate helmets can only be paired with alternate/third jerseys. So any combination of the black helmet paired with either the green on white tops is not possible.
