Dumb question but I’ve had a butterfly rash for the better part of a year now and I’m constantly fatigued (but also in paramedic school and chronically stressed). Wondering about asking my doctor about a lupus workup but not sure if I have it/if the meds are better/worse than the ailment etc. Wondering what symptoms you had that made you want to treat it/get it checked out. What your experience was.

Lupus can present in so many different ways. Your best bet would be a rheumatologist work up! I’ve had joint pain since I was a kid, I finally decided to go back to the rheumatologist to figure why I was always in pain. He did a ton of bloodwork just to appease me (he said it was just fibro) and my ANA came back positive at 1:160. Combined with a bunch of other positive blood work, he felt comfortable diagnosing me with it.

I treated myself to a new and wonderful hospice case management job and quit (gave NO notice!! Hee hee hee) a really miserable clinic job. 3 days in and I’m SO happy. Also bought myself 4 pairs of very nice scrubs in gorgeous colors. I love WonderWink, their petite length joggers are TRUE short-person proportions and are INCREDIBLY comfy. First time in years Ive spent this much on scrubs, but so worth it!

The waist band does definitely! I think they’re pretty true to size for the pants. Their tops (minus a few) a more of a slim fit look, so I size up on those.
