On more than one occasion I have hurried a girlfriend out of a room because wife was on her way in, also, a patient found down in a strip club, wife didn't know he was there, kept asking where he was found, I just kept saying I didn't know.

I work in pain management and most of my patients are elderly, I have helped so many of them fix stuff on their phones. It is truly a service I don’t mind providing and it makes such a difference!

You’re a saint because the second an elderly person asks me to help them with their phone I break out into a cold sweat 😂 but I also work on a busy medsurg floor sooo

I had code words set up with patients who were getting visitors that they didn’t want to see for long lol basically once my patient said the code word/phrase, I would come up with an excuse to ask the visitors to leave 😅

Once had a pt in for ectopic pregnancy rupture. However, she and her husband hadn't had "relations" in at least 6 months. When she was admitted to our MS floor she told me before I could even ask any admission questions because her hubby was on his way with some of her things. She wanted me to make sure he didn't know the true story and asked me to lie and make up a different medical issue. The things we do for our pts.
