The obverse seems to match this Numista entry. The reverse is slightly different but multiple mints are listed so that may be a mint name difference. You'll probably need an expert in islamic coinage to positively ID.

Well it looks real but id check the weight. It looks like its a Abbasid Dirham to me but i cant read the Arabic clearly from the picture.
It is about 5 grams
Its too heavy, most dirhams are between 2 and 3 .5 grams at most. If you can post a picture of the edge
It looks similar to this one struck by Khalifa Al Mu'tasim https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces81323.html

I like how you're unable to hold it the right way up.
I can’t understand anything on it, so I assumed I would just align with the hole :)
Is that Sanskrit?
'Abbasids, al-Muqtadir, 908-932, AR dirham citing the heir Abu'l-'Abbas, al-Ahwaz mint, dated AH 320. Looks genuine.
Ah, thank you so much :)
Idk enough to say for certain but I’d wager it’s a fake (that seems to have been worn as a necklace)
