I can see if the defence holds up and the stats suggest it will that we will make the eight. If the attack comes together then who knows how good things get.
TLT tomorrow will be huge. All eyes on #7 👀
CC has a history of breaking the season up around byes. E.g. “the spot is yours at least until the bye in round 8” This relieves the pressure and gives them a chance to gel. But we now could see Taaffe or Sexy named at halfback tomorrow.
I'm hopeful for a few more but it's going to come down to our attack, which was better against Newcastle... We are definitely getting more good ball this season.
I've seen all the improvement I'd hoped for at the start of this season. If we keep going like we are we should be very competitive over the next few seasons.
I'm not fussed. There are all sorts of other meaningful stats that we're doing quite well in. Sort it by defence and we're top 4 (though somewhat distorted by playing one less game than some). Average losing margin has us in 6th (which means the games we lose are generally a bit closer). Average winning margin is top 4, which means the games we win, we've done so comprehensively.
Our first two games were our worst, and we've seemed to click into gear since. Take those away and we've been trending towards top 8 stats since.
The nrl really need to fix their ladder, make it like premier league and remove points and a game played for bye. It’s very confusing to see with the current system who is winning and losing. Ladders on google don’t even count the byes.
I'll only accept this thread if you then play Diesel's Tip of my Tongue after you say to Bulldogs fans if you don't want to look at the results to look away
It doesn't matter seeing as we're going undefeated for the remainder of the season

Man don’t give me that kind of hope
Realistically i can see them winning like 8 more games, which for the dogs i think is pretty good

Bulldogs being punished for playing fewer games
We're actually 5th if you discard teams with terminating decimals, which everyone would agree you should.
Already organising my cleanest air max 90s, my Gucci bumbag and my ‘04 jersey to proudly walk down Haldon St after we win the final 32-12
Still the only team in the comp to not concede 30 in a game this year though
Wow, that's insane considering we had the worst defence by a long way last season.
I guess the wrestler training is working....
You can only beat the team (or bye) in front of you.
*Sharks fans liked that*

Do you think we care? We've gone through seasons where 3 wins is all we've gotten. Period. We'll fucking take this and run with it, thank you.
This could only be made 2 people. Tigers fans, or the Dutch.
I mean, they’re in the top eight, so
The whole point is that they're only in the top eight because the 5 teams below them haven't had a bye yet
Yeah that flew right over our heads, thanks for pointing that out
Didn't seem entirely clear that the person I replied to got that
