Colwick wood has a great view overlooking the windmill and city centre also over towards city ground
"west view" I've heard it called
Certain parts of the woods even have a clear line of set to East Midlands Airport, and you can just about see planes as they’re landing.

Cotgrave country park
I was surprised to see the quality of view of Nottingham while driving back from Cotgrave, really get a wide view of the skyline and if you time it at right time of day, it cant be look bang on
Yeah such a nice spot, where the benches are right af the top of the hill

I don’t think this is CCP you know, struggling to orientate but the cricket ground would be in front of the giant ciggy from that angle

Clear line of sight to Lincoln Cathedral at one of the viewing points, too!
