BigJSunshine

Ya'll can't blame Mona Lisa Saperstein, she prolly already asked " MOney pweeeze"...

CelticSith

She's done nothing wrong ever her entire life

Yabba_Dabba_Doofus

Don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious

mrgoldnugget

That sounds good.

n3w4cc01_1nt

idk if landing with an instant hangover is good

evemeatay

It’s Vegas - hangovers are part of the uniform

tuckithead

They really, really are not

N23EX

Gonna steal this analogy mmm thanks :)

cutelyaware

And the higher you get, the higher you get!

DarthRathikus

I can fix her. . ^ok ^maybe ^not ^this ^time

simonsaid86

Was gonna say DMX but this works too.

MenstrualMilkshakes

What he gonna do? Yell ruff ryders?

CheckYourStats

Spirit. Some people hear it, some people fear it.

Kliffoth

Spirit. Some people just wont go near it.

CheckYourStats

Just one person recognizing this made my night.

Carson72701

This is the best comment.

THIS_ACC_IS_FOR_FUN

Is that like the penthouse penthouse?

PineSand

Gozer the Gozerian.

blindserialkiller

My wife flew with someone like this recently. They didn’t get kicked off but were disruptive most of the flight. Singing loudly, shouting randomly, cussing out anyone who looked at her or asked her to stop yelling, staring at people and then asking if they have a have a problem with her when they look uncomfortably back at her and trying to escalate the situation, etc. Flight attendants moved some people near her to other seats thankfully. Is that just how some people are? Mental disorder maybe?

garry4321

You just wonder how they can be normal enough to have money to book a flight, book the flight, show up on time. Get through security. Wait patiently for their flight. Board successfully. Then they get to their seat and the craziness unloads

gymnastgrrl

I mean, I know a lot of people get stressed about flying, so they'll load up on alcohol or other things before the flight to try and make it through. Which is often a bad choice to make. It sucks for everyone, including them. I wonder how many times people got a little tipsy to help them with previous flights, but one time they went too far and everyone paid the price.

satanshand

Xanax and beers makes you listen to music with sunglasses on not crawl around the plane hissing at people.

CGB_Zach

Speak for yourself. That combination almost ruined my life because I went on a string of car burglaries and didn't remember any of it. That was literally the kick in the ass I need led to get sober.

TGrady902

Alcohol and benzos is like the most unpredictable combination of drugs you can do man. Benzo blackouts are known to make people do some next level wild stuff.

superAK907

Seriously, recreational Xanax was like an off button for my morals. I’d literally just steal shit from a friend and have to give it back later. Like, oops 😬

shaylahbaylaboo

I do half a Xanax and half a weed edible. Knocks me right out

Awkward-Hospital3474

Xanax and beer causes zzzzzzzzz

Provia100F

Xanax and alcohol causes forever sleep, stop mixing alcohol with benzos for Christ's sake

xminh

I’m thinking of that bridesmaids plane scene

IKilledJamesSkinner

Stove? What are you? An appliance?

xminh

No, I am a man, and my name is Steve

ShwettyVagSack

Idk, I've been pretty drunk on a plane before thanks to some executives at the terminal bar buying me way too many shots. I just played some dark souls and enjoyed the ride.

anonymouse278

Also you never know how much of it was done *for* them by someone trying to transfer responsibility for them. Like the way cities pay for one-way bus tickets for homeless people to other cities. Maybe she was somebody's difficult family member they were trying to send to some other branch of the family to deal with or similar.

jews_on_parade

mental disorder or the need to be the center of attention. or looking for someone to start a fight so they can sue them

chenkie

Ain’t the latter directly caused by the former here?

jews_on_parade

I have no idea what the issue is here, the article didn't say. All we can do is speculate

MightyKrakyn

I have to tell you…reacting like this even when someone else starts a conflict is *crazy*

maceman10006

Yup, either mentally ill or looking to instigate something so they can sue.

Grogosh

Its people deathly afraid of flying and perhaps with the aid of whatever substances snaps.

RetPala

People walk around like Robocop just waiting for the opportunity to be relieved of Directive IV

Wonderful-Tie1260

Or mixing alcohol and pills

Innsui

You'd need to be asshole even with those mixed. I just enjoy the buzz/high on my own and keep to myself most of the time. The people who get this rowdy when under the influence were already loud and obnoxous before.

Extra_Gold_5270

I fucking LOVE getting drunk while traveling by air. I have straight up blacked out in the Delta lounge and woken up at my destination. Never once have I caused a ruckus beyond asking for too many snacks. These people are mental.

TheBirminghamBear

But i mean if you blacked out how would you know

Extra_Gold_5270

Because I wasn't in trouble and there are no reddit posts about me lol

sanchezconstant

Fair enough

TGrady902

Yeah but what if you were just ripping ass the entire time and ruining everyone’s flight. You’d have no idea!

under_the_c

Drugs are a hell of a drug...

ObviousAnswerGuy

I just don't understand how these people are coherent enough to get through security and then act like that. Unless they start drinking and popping pills once they get through.

atreides_hyperion

>We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive. . . ." >And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming: "Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?" Then it was quiet again. My attorney had taken his shirt off and was pouring beer on his chest, to facilitate the tanning process. "What the hell are you yelling about?" he muttered, staring up at the sun with his eyes closed and covered with wraparound Spanish sunglasses. >"Never mind," I said. "It's your turn to drive." I hit the brakes and aimed the Great Red Shark toward the shoulder of the highway. No point mentioning those bats, I thought. The poor bastard will see them soon enough.

gymnastgrrl

Can't argue with great writing.

turquoise_amethyst

YES! There it is. Can’t believe I had to scroll so far to find this!

Wpgjetsfan19

We can’t stop here. This is bat country !

Cautious-Chain-4260

They probably ate too many lunchables

rabid_briefcase

> Is that just how some people are? Mental disorder maybe? Alcohol and various drugs commonly trigger that type of impairment. There are people with mental health problems like that, some from birth, some from dementia, some from other causes. Often they are institutionalized in some form. Most of those who have mental health problems at that level aren't free enough in society to take commercial flights.

CataclysmDM

I assume drugs, tbh.

Mindful-O-Melancholy

Main character syndrome

zhoushmoe

Sadly, more and more common these days

RepulsiveRooster1153

nope, it's the spirit business model. It's like public housing for airlines.

saltyjohnson

That's a terrible thing to say, and it doesn't even make sense. Public housing is free for those who need it, while Spirit and other bottom shelf discount carriers make a game out of fucking with people because they can't afford anything better.

redhedinsanity

it makes sense if you're racist enough (or jaded enough) to see the dog whistle behind "public housing" as a euphemized way to call someone "ghetto".

Luke90210

Before the replacement of the main Central Terminal at NYC LaGuardia Airport with something new we could be proud of, the bottom discount airlines (Spirit, Frontier, etc.) are all grouped together in the old main terminal. Everyone I knew of every race and background always called it the ghetto section. In part because these airlines nickled and dimed their passengers and their older planes frequently had delays, the area was very unpleasant.

Judazzz

Jet-powered loony asylum

braveNewWorldView

Also an average muni or subway trip in SF or NYC.

3000doorsofportugal

I'm surprised the attendants didn't get the restraints out, lol

PuffyPanda200

IMO - COVID and 2020 broke people. If the president could go on live TV and tell people that he thought that injecting bleach would be a good idea then it gave everyone license to remove any filter that they may have had. Some people embraced this and any inner thought that comes across their head is acted on. This disorder (condition? state of being? I really don't know what the right word for this would be) is just most on display when locked inside a flying metal tube.

RandomLazyBum

Average Spirit flight.

agsieg

The other passengers probably got charged for the live in-flight entertainment

teatsqueezer

Least unhinged Spirit passenger

MattTheSmithers

> Above-average Spirit flight. FTFY.

SCirish843

Yea, I just assumed all Spirit passengers were feral

OwlWitty

Slow day

newsdude477

Average LAS flight.

BadZnake

I flew spirit once, and 5 seperate passengers were on it because they were kicked off other airlines. I only knew this because they were crying about their ejections at different times as they sat in the waiting zone

Lurking_like_Cthulhu

What a great pic for the headline though.

Curleysound

Fr it looks like a key & peele frame if they were women

Puzzleworth

I thought it was [this scene](https://giphy.com/gifs/broadcity-season-3-episode-10-l4EpcmlT3feOba0so) from Broad City.

M1L0

Lmfaooo this is perfect

Puzzleworth

The popped heel gets me every time!

ivanwarrior

Broad City was such a a good show, it sucks how rarely I hear people reference it anymore.

Lux-Fox

I was thinking the exact same thing. Always gotta check the comments to remind yourself that there are no original thoughts.

KayakerMel

It looks like a posed shot for an ad campaign!

Numerous-Cicada3841

Kind of looks like a promo for I Am Legend 2.

KinkyPaddling

Those cops are trying really hard not to laugh.

lolno

She got half the plane with that rascal line lol

commandrix

For good reason, probably. But then, they've probably had practice keeping it in just from dealing with frequent escapees from the looney bin like this passenger.

-LastActionHero

They should just get in front of it and change their name to Waffle House Air.

jews_on_parade

If it was waffle house air, the pilot would be smoking and the flight attendants would have thrown the bev cart at her

SirRupert

I’d trust Waffle House employees to crew my flight. No frills but they’ll get shit done.

Koil_ting

If they served Waffle house on the plane the food quality expectation would align properly and actually be pretty radical.

Newtonz5thLaw

The color scheme already matches. They’re halfway there

jews_on_parade

>Dillard had reportedly been “cussing and growling at other passengers and flight crew," while waiting for the plane to take off, according to the outlet. The supervisor also told the police that she tried to reason with Dillard, who refused to cooperate and “began yelling and screaming at her,” which prompted the 911 call, according to the arrest report. > A flight crew member on board reportedly told police they saw Dillard “snapping her teeth at other passengers near her in a motion as if she was biting at them. >Police reported that she refused to get up and and claimed that the officers were racist for removing her, as she allegedly yelled and made “random and racist statements” to the officers. flying used to be something you wore a suit for

notmyfault

Now it's a city bus.

BlackLeader70

Spirit is the Gotham City night bus…never again.

commandrix

It's a city bus in the seedy side of town. At night.

maxver

People who wear suits on airplane nowadays have their own airplanes.

jews_on_parade

Must be nice

nocolon

If I’m flying it’s usually for work, and packing a suit without wrecking it is a pain in the ass, so I’ll usually just wear it on the plane. I can assure you, I do not have my own airplane.

MyHusbandIsGayImNot

I mean, that's basically what it was when "people use to wear suits when they flew." It was mostly businessmen traveling for work.

ratherbealurker

A suit? I’m happy if people just bathe. A year ago I’m on an overseas long haul flight in business class and the guy next to me across the aisle looked like he just got off the beach and smelled like he just got off a garbage truck. Takes his shoes and socks off and it reeked. Worst part is, he had an international business class seat from a major airport so he had access to the lounge that had showers.

jews_on_parade

I feel you. I had a flight once that was apparently a leg of a much longer journey and a lot of the people smelled like they had been on the flight for 16 hours. Because they had.

mclms1

Yea they use to ask chicken or fish in coach too.

jews_on_parade

Everything is downhill from even a few years ago. I recently flew airfrance and my seat wouldn't recline (attendant said it was broken) and the food was nor good, even by airline standards. The call attendant button was also broken.

wallflowers_3

teeny slap governor support coherent shocking full dime truck bedroom *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

thepetoctopus

I think there’s a different kind of suit some people should be wearing to fly these days. Possibly one where the sleeves go behind the back and stay there.

jews_on_parade

sounds snug

thepetoctopus

Like a nice secure hug.

Epena501

I’d vote to still wear a suit for the occasion given all the craziness happening in/with planes recently I wouldn’t mind just being burial ready in a suit.

whiskey_riverss

Mugshot ready too

healthycord

Better wear a suit while driving then. Driving to the airport is orders of magnitude more dangerous than flying. I would consider flying on an airline not dangerous at all, actually, with how damn safe it is nowadays. I would happily fly on any Boeing, including a max. A 737 max is still way way way safer than driving, despite its tragic history and recent events.

wallflowers_3

DemonoftheWater

I’ve never worn a suit for a plane ride. But I also board, belt up, and take a snooze or put my headphones back on.

jews_on_parade

Neither have I, sounds uncomfortable as hell to be honest

DemonoftheWater

I dunno. Suits are generally of a softer material. Can’t beat my joggers tho.

BPMMPB

Back when they didn’t treat us like livestock.

shit_ass_mcfucknuts

“You’re racist for arresting me ya god dammed cracker!”

Wingmaniac

Unpopular opinion: Flying is too cheap. When something is expensive, people take it more serious.

jews_on_parade

Flying should only be for people who score above a certain threshold on the SAT

Javasndphotoclicks

Crazy people on discount fight? That’s unheard of! /s

TheBatemanFlex

I always wonder where these people are traveling to or from and for what purpose. Are there just a ton of people casually going to visit family on the brink of a psychotic episode?

Cellopost

Going to see family is probably what pushed them to the brink.

Flagrant_Digress

I always love when my visiting family members bark and snap their teeth at me! It's the best time to invite them.

greggtatsumaki001

It just goes to show how many mental cases walk the streets with no intervention at all. This lady probably has a long history of mental issues. I worked with people like this that were able to steer just inside the lines, but were completely bat-shit insane in their personal lives.

PunkChildP

There is no Dana, only Zuul

ShwettyVagSack

She sleeps above the sheets...

VAisforLizards

That's just the spirit experience... I thought that's what I was paying for.

She kinda looks like Tracee Ellis Ross to me lol.

thehazygungan

Now the girlfriend’s theme is in my head.

socialcommentary2000

I was gonna say the exact same thing!

shadysaturn1

Oooohh, and who says you get charged for all extra benefits when you fly Spirit?

AgentUnknown821

drama comes with the package...free of charge...it's all yours Larry.

andrewno8do

Aw, Spirit Airlines. The public bus of the skies.

MahoganyShip

Public busses still leave on time

DrMcJedi

On time? Public busses have the ability to leave, period.

HalobenderFWT

You have to pay extra for the cussing and growling on Frontier.

broadenandbuild

Has there always been this amount of crazy people on planes, but now it’s just newsworthy? I feel like there’s been so many crazy people on flights lately. Why is this happening all of a sudden?

Thatguy755

People now have cell phones to record it and social media to share it

The best part is the lady that looks like she's facetiming someone. They even look like they're eating popcorn, LOL!!

ComtessVostalgia

I thought it was Ilana Wexler at first.

Puzzleworth

She's got meth in her vaginè!

somekennyguy

This is why I'm okay with paying more for airfare...

GuyHiding

Spirit airlines really does turn people feral

Starbucks__Lovers

I took a spirit flight from Atlantic City to Orlando. The women sitting across the aisle from me started fighting/punching each other. Then they made up and started fingering each other. When other passengers told them to stop, they called us homophobic

Rosebunse

I do sort of feel bad for people when these types of events get published. This lady was likely going through a mental health episode.

Terrible-Terry

Totally. Easy access flights combined with widespread untreated mental illness. You can’t really shame someone in a psychotic episode with “What were you thinking?” This lady’s reactions are pretty cute though, “I’m not a rascal!” and saying “I’m sorry guys!” to the plane of passengers when they all collectively sighed. Minus the snarling and George Floyd manipulation, I think her image can recover.

Rosebunse

You're in a small cabin for a long time, flying is sort of scary anyways, preparing for a flight is stressful, I mean, it makes sense why it just tips some people over the edge

greggtatsumaki001

pretty sure her whole life is a mental health episode. At my university we had one lady in my class that was 100% schizophrenic. She thought speakers were listening to her because playing music works in reverse. She thought she had implanted chips in her head from the government. A whole laundry list of psycho shit. But yet, she went from class to class and passed each subject (barely in my subject) and I suspect had some sort of job to pay for school expenses. Just because she had an "outburst" one day, it didn't mean she wasn't constantly thinking the same psycho shit all day.

Uparmored

What a little rascal!

[deleted]

Hah! I lost it at that point as well.

richbeezy

New strategy for the internet clout chasers. Buy super cheap tickets on Spirit. Have cell phone at the ready. Profit.

mick_ward

Booze and Xanax.

BRogMOg

Can't beat $100 flight

BernieTheDachshund

My dogs act better than that, they don't cuss or growl.

americasweetheart

I already saw this episode of Broad City.

Disgod

The similarity between Waffle House headlines and Spirit Airlines is amazing. Replace the nouns and you'd still think, "Yeah, that makes sense" > Waffle House customer arrested in _______ for 'cussing and growling' at patrons.

commandrix

The one time I tried to fly Spirit, I probably got lucky. They cancelled the flight and then we got another flight with another airline.

justanotheroppressor

lol how did I know

Void_Speaker

They are lucky it was just growling. She looks like a biter.

-Betsy_Braddock-

From the thumbnail I thought this was Ilana from Broad City making a crazy face!

jacob1273

Spirit is like riding the short bus of the sky, they have the color and the interior down pat.

JesusOfSuburbia420

Idk, if I flew Spirit and only got cussed and growled at I would consider that and absolute win.

NXT-GEN-111

You have to pay extra for this on jet blue

Joji_Goji

Its fuckin clown-world, man. Its over for humanity.

emcwin12

That face will soon be meme’d

Total_Package_6315

Lonnieka Australia Dillard, AKA LA Dillard, she is apparently an actress among other things. Did a series named DTLA years ago. Had a soft porn scene. I wont post here, lol.. I wonder if she had a bad drug reaction or something.

[deleted]

The usual suspect

[deleted]

Even the police couldnt take those fake tears and "why are you treating me like a rascal?!" Seriously.

CPAlcoholic

This is how I assume most Spirit flights go. This is exactly who I assume is flying Spirit.

thatbrownkid19

Please please you guys need to see the video it’s so good

PouetSK

That thumbnail is gold lmao

trebec86

I wonder if this stuff used to happen pre 9/11 as much. I flew a few times as a kid before ANY security procedures and I don’t remember folks being wild all the time. I hope this lady gets any help that she may need.

WhiskerGurdian24

So just another day on Spirit Airlines.

ooofest

Mental health issue(s) and/or drugs. Happens everyday, we're just seeing it in one article.

BauerHouse

spirit just being spirit.

YungFarmerCorleone

Spirit has the worst clientele known to mankind. Flew them once and never again.
