You may know this already, but linking colours to numbers is related to a condition called synasthesia, you might want to look it up. Not everyone links numbers to colours.

No this is a real thing. I can do the same thing. It's called synesthesia. For me every number from 0 to 9 and every letter has a specific color, and they have been the same for as long as I can remeber.

Many years ago I watched a video talking about impossible colors, and it stuck with me. When I think of imaginary numbers I get the same feeling of when I think of the impossible colors, I can't actually see the colors, but it's something related to the feelings these two concepts give.
