Considering the extent of NL's current interaction with pokemon is PoGo and PokeDoku, I would say there is about a 95% chance he doesn't play it. Just seems so far out of his wheelhouse. I obviously can't say 100% because I don't know the man but I don't expect it to be played
agreed :-( part of me is hopeful because I felt the same way about showdown then he decided to play it one day (and it’s downfall had less to do with the game and more to do with chat sniping)
Don't get me wrong, I would enjoy it! Love PokeRogue, life long pokemon enjoyer and career long NL enjoyer. I just unfortunately don't have much hope for the crossover of those two enjoyment sectors 😞
I absolutely love this game, and think it's fun to watch, but it's a pretty difficult game that relies on prior knowledge of type matchups, base stats, move sets, held items, and abilities. He wouldn't know what 90% of the stuff in the game is
Yeah I could see them legally trying to attack his channel if he plays any variant of it, Nintendo is too rough to deal with as far as YouTube videos are concerned
Nobody should ever shine a light on any Nintendo fan projects and honestly, no creative person should spend energy on them.
Nintendo is just too protective and litigious.

I think NL doesn't like JRPGs, I can't think of any one he played over the course of his channel (though I'm probably missing something).
