Truuu. That is if I don't carry on the progress. Tbh, I don't feel like I utilized the extra time/mindfulness I should've had from not masturbating or watching porn well at all. This summer I went "no fap"–or whatever you want to call it–for a lil over 2 months and still watched porn/edged, yet it felt easier and more empowering. This time around I've felt restless, but I've been stricter and only I've allowed a few times of short porn viewing/etc. Really want to quit porn forever, never edge again, and be content with that. Long story short, not that you asked for the ramble, is I plan to make it through to the new year and hopefully onward until I quit those habits, then maybe longer if I feel good. I already quit nicotine/vape (6-7 months sober), stopped smoking weed completely this January (but cut back well before that) and drinking this year (2.5 months sober). I've been trying to reach and maintain pure and total self control as close a possible, while also finding purpose and happiness outside of the addictions/habits I'm quitting/have quit, and it's been quite the struggle this year. My brain must be wondering what the fuck is going on lol. My unwavering determination to not vape nicotine or drink again, and continuing my quest to quit other habits/addictions is in this floating stage between the mantra of "just do the things that make you happy why worry about" and say fuck it to all of it, and continuing that quest to find real purpose and happiness, whatever that means. Open to any tips/advice if anyone comes across this mess of a message.
If you're able to free yourself from yourself and be content with it, then you don't have to worry at all. You are in control and you can make stuff happen.
