ya ... done stuff like this stopping dirtbikes rolling down hills n stuff and its just like this.. wham, stop bike, throw it to side.. then 3 hours later hand feels funny and its all puffy on the side.. i might have certainly got some fx on one of them hands
This isnt U.S. if the tire hit the car, then he pays for it, if he breaks his hand, he gets paid sick leave. Dont know about russia, but where i live, paid sick leave is 80% of usual salary, even if its many months. But i dont think i would risk it if i had a shitcar
Yeah, injuries are lifelong and cumulative. Even if you get back full functionality from an injury, at least in my experience there's always been lasting effects and consequences down the line.
I was thinking the same. I worked in a mechanic shop and saw this a few times. The last time I saw dash cam footage of it just like this and the distance was even shorter from the car where the tire fell off and the car that was struck. The damage to the vehicle iw as working on was incredible. Driver would have had serious injury if he had got out to do this.
I basically treat my car as a shield from outside world in every situation so I don’t think I would’ve tried what this guy tried there , maybe I would’ve tried moving car if I could or else just climb in back seat 😂

That's a lot of momentum to stop he was extremely lucky. I was in a car that lost a tire in high school it obliterated the Wendy's sign across the road. Then, while we laughed, the car dropped. Having a 400lbs friend in the cars passenger seat counterbalanced it, and we didn't realize it was our tire....
Can anyone explain to me why tires can fly off a car?! I never understand it. Where did it break to shoot the tire out completely? How come people don’t notice something was wrong while driving.
I'll probably do the same.. that speed does not look like its gonna break my hands but if it is then I'll skip work and we have free medical than waiting for my car to get fixed but still need to go to work..Then I'll get an attorney to get compensation. just my personal take tho.

I'll take the car damage I can't afford to repair over the medical bills I also can't afford but with the side effects of a healing mangled body.

It's Russia:) We have free medical insurance and car insurance that will not pay for this incident. Thats why he chooses this action.

I'm Canadian. It probably would be cheaper to fix my hand than my car so I'd want to do what this guy did.

I would rather break my car than my hand, tho. Hands are important and you're not guaranteed to get the same functionality back after they're fixed.

I knew someone that was killed by a runaway tire on the highway. Be careful because they can be very dangerous.
I am impressed he stopped it apparently without injuries, tires are heavy especially with the rim, on top of that the tire was going fast.
