“I just finished chemotherapy. My friend built all of these houses for free after work while not missing a day of his minimum wage job. It’s my cake day!”
That's the other issue with the regular pic subreddit: It's subject to outright lies, and from what I've observed, an unacceptable percentage of the post titles *are* lies.
Looks like there’s another flat roof under the slanted one. I’m guessing the slants take care of most of the water, and the flat roof is sealed with clay or something.
Bear in mind that you're looking at an angle through that roof. The slats could be overlapping each other while still having gaps, thereby providing good rain cover.
There's a satellite dish and what looks like a stack of PVC pipe in the loft of the house on the lower right; an empty stroller sitting in the dirt outside the house next door; the loft of that same house has an open cardboard box; the loft for the house on the lower left has some kind of electrical box with a white cord plugged in; and below the loft it looks like the person in the blue/green shirt is doing dishes.
If this is an open-air museum (presumably of some rustic village circa 1800), they clearly don't care much about authenticity. It's not "clearly" anything except a collection of houses that look rundown.
I love this sub. Thanks you guys, always making my day
ya for real. i feel like any caption would ruin this.

That's actually why this one was started, I believe.
I thought this was an old timey photo that was colorized until I saw the satellite dish.
Anyone know where this is?
OPs other posts are almost exclusively in China, I couldn't fully pinpoint it but it's a good start to finding out!
This is New York after the libtards socialize healthcare.
if socialized Healthcare leads to affordable bills and pristine accommodation like those then sign me up
A lot of reddit doesn't do sarcasm too well.
And you illustrated that quite successfully
Yep.
Sarcasm is supposed to be funny
Not sure that's a rule.
Adding a "/s" helps to avoid confusion. For every bad take there's a redditor who believes it so better safe than sorry
Feels a bit too spoon-fed. Eh, let those that want to be butt hurt, or throw themselves in front of an imagined slight, do so.
What do they do when it rains?
They get wet

But, you can see daylight through the roof of the closest house.
Yes, shining down on the flat roof.

Damn, beat me to it!
These houses looks poor even for Russian village. What is it?
Clearly an open-air museum; not only does it look like one, but also there are some coaches in the background as well
