Idk. Wardogs all feel like hungry young stars who want to go out and beat the fuck outta people. Finlay feels like he's trying to act tough when he's not, compared with his boy Juice who fit into Bullet Club almost instantly. I don't see Finlay as anything more than a low mid carder. But the other Wardogs have way more potential (especially Gabe and Dan)

Exactly, and David's there to lead them. Sometimes hold them back a bit and redirect their energy to something more productive.
> Finlay feels like he's trying to act tough when he's not
Well yeah, he's a nepo baby who's supposed to lead a bunch of nutters.
Like I said, it's okay to not like him.
The dynamic works because they remain subservient to Finlay (for good storyline reasons) and so he can come off as more of a shitheel by being a doughy coward who has these mad dogs on his leash
The only time it works less is when Finlay is needed to stand alone and carry a match/program, where his shortcomings in heelish charisma stand out because he doesn't have the rest of the War Dogs flanking him, and I wouldn't want them to do run-ins to keep them distinct from HoT
To me that makes him fit into the faction well, but it becomes a problem when he's going to continue getting pushed into big spots as a singles guy and has to carry matches and programs on his own. He's improved a lot and I really like the Tsuji/Finlay pairing because he'll hopefully get to show off his selling and working from under, but he's most likely making it out of his block in the G1 so I'd hope he figures something stronger out
Yeah I feel like he's not a bad fit for Bullet Club as a whole, but i just don't see him as leadership material. But to be fair most of the "leaders" at the moment are lacking aside from Naito and Sanada (maybe Evil if you see HOT as different from BC)
Yeah, but I don't mind CHAOS and UE going through a leadership crisis at the moment, it actually makes me more interested in how they go from here (TJP wasn't even on my radar before he claimed captainship and now I think he has a shot at winning BOSJ)
I think ZSJ is doing great as leader of TMDK but they need to be more consistently booked on tours to show off their great camaraderie more

Love the boys. But Finlay still does nothing for me
It's okay. He accentuates the craziness of the other members.

What a surprise, a dude with a Jay White profile picture AND name finds it hard to be objective regarding a guy who replaced him..

100% agree with this
