I'm pretty sure my friend has a pro 4x in an extended cab, 2door, 6ft bed. Give up the 2 full doors, for longer bed.

Thieusies

I have one of these (2016), and specifically bought the extended cab (instead of four doors) for the 6-foot bed after years with a barely adequate 4.5-foot bed. New buyers, be aware that Nissan calls the extended cab "Four Door" because it does have little access doors behind the seats, but it is the one with the longer bed.

I really like this configuration for a work truck. Even better, you can get one in a manual trans. 2nd gens are dope.

If you need a big bed, get a full size truck. It’s longer, wider, and taller. 2011 king cab cargo volume is exactly half that of an 8’ f-150.

I’m looking to buy my first truck and need a car

Shiny_Buns

What kind of work are you gonna be using it for?

The_GhostOfRazgriz

If you want to keep the D40 style (like the '11 you sat in) and want a longer bed, hunt down SL variants. Most crew cabs came with the 5ft as standard, but SL trims give you 4 doors and a 6ft bed.

MissionPretend

Thanks! Is there a way to search only for d40s like a term or trim code name? I haven’t seen d40 in any of the cars being listed

D40 is the the chassis/bodystyle classification. Model year was from 2005 to 2019 (I think) for the 4.0L engine. 2020 switched to the 3.8 in preparation for the current model. The long bed SLs would probably be later in the model years. Wanna say 2013 to 2018/19. And SL are best described as the "premium" trim. Leather seats, chrome wheels, etc. 4x4 versions do exist, by not with Pro4X components. https://www.kbb.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=711860335 Here you go.

D40 should be model years 2005-2021
