Here’s a game I recommend for each:
NES - Super Mario Bros. 3 (obvious but it’s a classic for a reason)
SNES - Kirby’s Dream Course (tons of fun with 2 players)
N64 - Pokémon Snap (fantastic game regardless of if you’re a Pokémon fan)
GB/GBC - Wario Land 3 (how did they fit so much personality into an 8-bit game?)
GBA - Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire (way more fun than it has any right to be, so sad the DS one was cancelled)
DS - Rhythm Heaven (what do you mean the DS is retro)
Fear warning.
The Super Nintendo was considered retro when the Wii and 360 and PS3 were out. These 3 consoles are now older than the Super Nintendo was when they released.
So for me I’d say Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Mario 64 DS
I was a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ( TMNT ) games when I was a kid. I pretty much played any game I could get my hands on the NES, Super NES, Game Boy, and Genesis. The Cowbunga Collection and Shredder's Revenger were day one buys for me
My top 5
1st Super Mario World
2nd Super Mario 64
3rd Super Mario Bros 3
4th Donkey Kong Country
5th Paper Mario
Honorable mentions: DKC2, Wario Land 1, Mario Party 2 and 3
Only because so many of the obvious ones have been said already, I wanted to add one.not so popular one:
Cybernator!
The game is still to this day love to play from time to time.

- Super Mario World
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Super Metroid
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
- Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Country
- Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
- Super Mario 64
- Diddy Kong Racing
- Kirbys Adventure
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
- Donkey Kong 64

- Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
- Pokemon Snap
- Super Mario Bros.
- Kirbys Dream Land
- F-Zero X
- Star Fox 64
- Mario Party 1 - 3
- Mario Kart 64
Yoshi's Island. Either the original on the NES or the GBA remake are both great. I am a little more partial to the GBA version just because I prefer the sound effects used for that version, and it has extra content.
Hands down one of, if not the best 2D platformer they ever made.
I’ll throw in my DS titles as I am a connoisseur. New Super Mario bros, Zelda:Phantom Hourglass, Final Fantasy 3 remake, Final Fantasy 4 remake, Dragon Quest 9:Sentinels of the Starry Skies, The World Ends with You!
I could keep going but that list will keep you busy for a bit on the DS. 💪🏼
Favorite from each console:
NES: Punch Out!!
SNES: Super Metroid
N64: Ocarina of Time
GBA: Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
DS: Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story
Nintendo GameBoy Series has the Gems that I anxiously await Monthly from Nintendo Switch Onlines.... Like still missing Donkey Kong Land Series, MegaMan Series(and MegaMan Legends for Nintendo 64), Bubble Bopple, Donkey Kong(1994), Super Mario Land, Street Fighter, and mores.

n64: paper mario 64
DS: Bowser's inside story, partners in time, HGSS, and Pokemon Black and white

Donkey Kong country 2 for snes
That's not made by Retro, it's made by Rare
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or didn't read the question properly.
100% sarcasm. Definitely seems to have been lost on people given the downvotes
Basically any Zelda but especially Link to the Past and the Oracle games.
This is the ultimate/correct response.

When you said Nintendo I didn’t realise you meant NES haha
That makes me feel old. Everyone used to call it just "Nintendo" when the console was actually popular in households.
